技术领域
本发明涉及一种盘式制动器卡钳,特别是涉及适于通过桥状件反作用地作用于一个制动衬块的单边式卡钳。
背景技术
传统盘式制动器卡钳具有对置的制动衬块,该制动衬块适于被迫使以抵靠制动器转子的相对径向表面。在机动车中致动通常是液压式的,并且可以通过对置的活塞进行。但是,对置的活塞卡钳相当昂贵,并且在外侧有些笨重。因此,已经开发出单边式滑动卡钳,其中内侧活塞直接作用于内侧制动衬块,并且通过附装到该活塞壳体的桥状件间接作用于外侧制动衬块;当然,必须允许该活塞壳体在承载件上向内侧滑动以适应外侧制动衬块的磨损。
就载重汽车的盘式制动器而言,致动一般是通过压缩空气和大型致动器进行的,所述大型致动器的直径可为200毫米,长度可为300毫米。这样的致动器实际上仅能安装在内侧,因此单边式制动器卡钳是常用的。
载重汽车的制动衬块具有相当大的磨损厚度,典型磨损厚度为大约20毫米。此外,制动盘自身的每个表面在崭新状态和磨损状态之间通常可能磨损掉3毫米。因此,在外侧制动衬块的展新状态和磨损状态之间,通常必须允许空气制动致动器向内移动大约25毫米。该容差对载重汽车的设计者来说是很不便的限制,最好避免该限制。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种盘式制动器卡钳,该盘式制动器卡钳包括内侧壳体、可相对于所述壳体运动用于直接作用于内侧制动衬块的致动元件、从所述壳体桥跨到外侧且用于直接作用于外侧制动衬块的桥状件、以及内侧松紧调节器,该内侧松紧调节器位于所述桥状件与所述壳体之间,并且适于递增地或增量式地向内移动所述桥状件从而在使用中补偿外侧制动衬块的磨损。
通过将用于外侧制动衬块的松紧调节器设置在内侧,本发明既使得所述卡钳在外侧的体积减至最小,还允许内侧壳体保持在基本不变的位置。为了消除外侧运转间隙,并为松紧调节器提供必要的行程,内侧壳体的微小运动可能是必须的,但2至3毫米范围内的运动就是足够的。由于所述空气致动器附装到内侧壳体,该空气致动器也被保持在基本不变的位置。
优选地,所述卡钳进一步包括内侧制动衬块松紧调节器,该内侧制动衬块松紧调节器位于所述壳体与致动元件之间,并且适于递增地向外移动所述致动元件以在使用中补偿内侧制动衬块的磨损。
这样的卡钳为两个制动衬块的磨损提供补偿,并且缩短了内侧致动元件的行程。根据预测的制动衬块磨损率,内侧和外侧松紧调节器可以具有不同的松紧调节器行程。
所述桥状件可以在所述壳体的内侧延伸以限定一个间距,在这样的情况下所述内侧调节器跨越该间距。
或者,所述桥状件完全位于所述壳体的外侧并与之间隔开一个间距,并且所述内侧松紧调节器跨越所述间距。
所述卡钳可以进一步包括适于相对于车辆车轴刚性固定的承载件,该承载件具有滑动件,并且所述桥状件安装在所述滑动件上。这些滑动件可包括圆柱形销,这些圆柱形销能够以滑动配合接合在相应孔中,并且可相对于所述承载件固定这些销。
所述承载件可既具有内侧滑动件又具有外侧滑动件,并且所述桥状件可具有用于分别与这些滑动件接合的内侧腿部和外侧腿部。所述壳体还可适于与所述内侧滑动件滑动接合。
本发明的卡钳既适用于固定式的盘式制动器转子又适合于滑动式的盘式制动器转子。

具体实施方式
参考附图,图1示出了传统载重汽车盘式制动器。车轮11和轮胎12固定到车轴14的可转动轮毂13上。制动器转子15连接成随所述轮毂13一起转动。
承载件16刚性地固定到车轴14并且支撑滑动制动器卡钳17,滑动制动器卡钳17上安装有空气致动器18。所述致动器适于直接作用于内侧制动衬块19,以及通过桥状件20作用外侧制动衬块21。因此,随着所述外侧制动衬块磨损,致动器18沿箭头22的方向向内移动,典型地可移动长达23毫米的距离。
图2和图2A示意性地示出了本发明的第一实施方式,其中类似的部件具有增大了一百的相应参考标号。从而,转子115由对置的制动衬块119和121制动。承载件116将滑动卡钳117支撑在圆柱形销123上,并且致动是通过致动器118进行的。滑动卡钳117包括卡钳体117A。
桥状件120通过增量式松紧调节器124连接到位于内侧的卡钳体117A。
总之,在使用中所述致动器118通过传统类型的可调节挺杆(也称为松紧调节器)126作用于内侧制动衬块119,而通过所述松紧调节器124和桥状件120作用于外侧制动衬块121。应理解的是,随着所述外侧制动衬块的磨损,松紧调节124的长度将逐渐缩短,从而使桥状件120沿箭头122的方向向内移动。同时随着内侧制动衬块119的磨损,松紧调节器126的长度将以传统方式逐渐增大。因此,若假定制动衬块121和119以相同的速率磨损,且所述松紧调节器124和126相配合以相同的速率调节,那么致动器118和卡钳体117A基本上保持在同一位置(即,它们的移动量仅为制动衬块119和盘115之间的运转间隙)。制动衬块121和桥状件120沿箭头122的方向向内侧移动,其移动量等于制动衬块121的磨损加上转子115外侧摩擦面上的磨损的总和;并且制动衬块119沿箭头150的方向向外侧移动,其移动量等于制动衬块119的磨损加上所述转子115内侧摩擦面的磨损的总和。
所述运转间隙典型地是大约1毫米,因此致动器118和壳体117A的最大往复运动实际上限制在2至3毫米,而不是现有技术中的23至25毫米。
更详细地,桥状件120具有悬垂腿部128,这些悬垂腿部在轴向固定的转子115的任意一侧延伸。腿部128的孔129被定位在承载件116的滑动销123上,该承载件116在使用时被刚性地固定到所述车辆车轴。肩部127为内侧制动衬块和外侧制动衬块(119和121)提供支承面。应理解的是,滑动销123允许桥状件120进行有限的往复运动。

制动致动器118和挺杆126的工作原理是公知的。该种配置的例子可在US6435319中找到,读者可在该文献中找到对所述工作原理的进一步解释。然而,概括而言致动器118包括推杆,所述推杆对一个位于壳体117A的杠杆进行操作。所述杠杆连接到偏心安装的轴。致动器118推杆的操作导致所述杠杆转动该偏心安装的轴,该偏心安装的轴沿外侧方向150向挺杆126施加力。挺杆126与内侧制动衬块119的制动衬块背板相接合,因此迫使内侧制动衬块119抵靠转子115,从而导致制动。
能够以公知方式调节挺杆部件126的长度,以补偿所述内侧制动衬块的磨损。因此,可以认为挺杆部件126起到了内侧制动衬块的松紧调节器的作用。挺杆部件126包括可转动齿轮,所述可转动齿轮与US6435319中所公开的类似,并且以公知方式调节所述挺杆部件的长度。这些以部件132示意性地示出的齿轮与松紧调节器124的齿轮124A相啮合。齿轮124A转动地与松紧调节器124的螺纹部分124B固定在一起。因此,应理解的是,在调节挺杆部件126的长度时,对松紧调节器124进行了相应的调节。
应当理解的是,在其它实施例中,可使用不同的致动器,并且类似地,对于所述内侧制动衬块能够使用不同于挺杆部件126的松紧调节器。特别地,通过链条装置(与上述的齿轮装置相反)驱动某种公知的挺杆部件,并且这样的松紧调节器同样可应用于本发明。
可选地,所述壳体117A可以具有悬垂腿部130(如图中虚线所示),其可与滑动销123的延伸部接合。
所述内侧制动衬块对所述制动转子的作用会导致一个反作用力,该反作用力通过桥状件120作用于所述外侧制动衬块。松紧调节器124通过使桥状件120更近地接近壳体117A,从而可以在补偿所述外侧制动衬块磨损的同时,使运转间隙得以保持。
桥状件120和壳体117A的组合件的浮动量等于外侧运转间隙和所述松紧调节器的最小有效行程,实际上大约为2至3毫米。因而,在所述外侧制动衬块磨损时,所述制动致动器维持在基本相同的位置。
或许需要可选的腿部130来为壳体117A提供附加的导向和支撑。
图2的配置可以直接代替图1所示类型的制动器卡钳。特别有利的特征是所述松紧调节器124设置在内侧(在内侧可更自由地利用空间)上,从而使得外侧朝向车轮的突出可以最小化——这提高了外侧的设计自由度。
图3和图4示意性地示出了桥状件220和外侧制动衬块221。所述卡钳体217具有两个用于所述桥状件的松紧调节器224,并且具有用于附装到车辆车轴的悬垂腿部225。致动器(未示出)通过挺杆226直接使所述内侧制动衬块(未示出)运动。示出的滑道227是用于内侧制动衬块的。
为了获得操作松紧调节器224所必需的运动,卡钳体217安装在所述车轴上,以便进行滑动运动(例如通过图1中所示的固定承载件),或替换地,滑动式或“顺从式”转子可与固定式卡钳/车轴安装件一起使用。在后一情况中,允许滑动式转子向外运动以作用于内侧制动衬块,直到接触所述外侧制动衬块;1至2毫米的轴向转子运动足以适应外侧运转间隙。从所述转子到所述轮毂的驱动可采用诸如花键之类的任何适合的方式。
如从图2中清晰可见的,桥状件120完全位于所述壳体117A的外侧,并且与壳体117A隔开一个间隔S。松紧调节器124跨越这个间隔。在其它实施方式中,所述桥状件能够延伸到壳体117A的内侧,并且限定类似的间隔。这个间隔再次能被合适的松紧调节器跨越,尽管在这种情况下,随着所述外侧制动衬块的磨损,所述松紧调节器将会进行调节以增大所述间隔,由此向内侧移动所述桥状件。
Claims (9)
1、一种盘式制动器卡钳,其包括:
内侧壳体;
相对于所述壳体可运动的致动元件,其直接作用于内侧制动衬块;
从所述壳体到所述外侧的桥状件,其直接作用于外侧制动衬块;以及
位于所述桥状件与所述壳体之间的内侧松紧调节器,其适于递增地向内移动所述桥状件,从而在使用时补偿外侧制动衬块的磨损。
2、根据权利要求1所述的卡钳,还包括位于所述壳体和致动元件之间的内侧制动衬块松紧调节器,该内侧制动衬块松紧调节器适于递增地向外移动所述致动元件,从而在使用时补偿内侧制动衬块的磨损。
3、根据权利要求1或2所述的卡钳,其中所述桥状件在所述壳体的内侧延伸而限定一个间距,并且所述内侧松紧调节器跨越该间距。
4、根据权利要求1或2所述的卡钳,其中所述桥状件完全位于所述壳体的外侧并与所述壳体隔开一个间距,并且所述内侧松紧调节器跨越该间距。
