Description

技术领域

发明背景
通信的能力是人类所有成员共同的基本需要。电话被认为是通信技术中最重要的进步之一，因为它使得相距遥远的个人之间可以进行实时的口头会话。现代的进步已经使电话会话超越了传统的模拟电话和模拟电话网络。现在，通过模拟和数字移动电话的电话会话是可能的。而且，电话会话可利用使用叫做IP电话(简称VoIP)的技术的计算机。在这个新时代里，许多其他的通信形式已经得到了发展，包括，例如，传真、email、即时消息以及其他。每种通信形式具有其鲜明的优势和劣势。

发明内容
本发明的原则克服了前述现有技术中的问题，本发明涉及一种在安排(place)电话呼叫的同时传送电话呼叫的的上下文的机制。例如，当安排电话呼叫时，呼叫者可以在被呼叫者表明是否接受该电话呼叫之前，通知被呼叫者电话呼叫的主题、重要性或种类。另一方面，如果被呼叫者拒绝该电话呼叫，那么被呼叫者可将一个声明传送回呼叫者而不用实际上接受这个电话呼叫。依照本发明，使用与安排并应答电话呼叫相同的用户界面，所有一切即成为可能，由此避免了建立单独的信道来沟通这种信息所要求的时间。

例如，被呼叫者可以选择自动拒绝所有商业性质的呼叫。而且，如果被呼叫者在参与她年度表现评议的视频会议，如果来自其丈夫的电话呼叫的呼叫主题为“吃午餐好吗”、呼叫的重要性为“普通”、和/或如果呼叫种类被指定为“私人性质的”，被呼叫者可以选择不应答。然而，如果她接收到来自其丈夫的呼叫，并且如果呼叫的主题为“你女儿在学校发生很严重的事故-我们需要立即讨论”，或者如果重要性被指定为“紧急”，被呼叫者的确可选择退出这个重要的视频会议。这个例子证明了如果没有为用户提供足够的电话呼叫上下文、或者如果只通知用户呼叫者的身份，被呼叫者是怎样就是否应答呼叫做出搞不清状况的判断的。
通过选择拒绝机制502，可促使出现图5B所示的用户界面500B。这个用户界面500B可以出现而不管最初的呼叫邀请数据结构到底是否包括任何上下文。用户界面500B包括一个一旦拒绝该电话呼叫，被呼叫者可以从中选择指定返回到呼叫者的声明的声明菜单503B。这个声明可为任何有益于呼叫者发现被呼叫者拒绝电话呼叫的上下文的声明。例如，声明可包括拒绝电话呼叫的原因(例如，“我在开会”、“我在通话中”等等)，或者可以指示被呼叫者方便通话的时间(例如，“15分钟内我会回电给你”)等等。被呼叫者甚至可以选择“定制”，以输入关于拒绝呼叫的上下文的定制声明。参照图2，被呼叫者计算系统220向呼叫者计算系统210发送一拒绝数据结构252。拒绝数据结构252包括呼叫已被拒绝的指示253和该拒绝的上下文信息254。
另外或者除了显示给予被呼叫者接受或拒绝电话呼叫的选项的用户界面之外，被呼叫者计算系统可以根据电话呼叫的上下文采取其他适当的行动。例如，被呼叫者计算系统可以根据上下文为呼叫重新选择路由到另一个设备或系统。例如，被呼叫者计算系统可以有一个指定必须把任何标识为“紧急”重要性的外来呼叫转移到某个移动电话号码的重新选路规则。而且，所有主题中包括词语“税金”的呼叫应被重新选路到用于交税的另一个计算系统。有林林总总的其它重新选择路由的可能性。重新选择路由的规则可以由被呼叫者设定。其他适当的行动可以是将电话呼叫记录到呼叫日志中。呼叫日志可包括指定的呼叫主题、重要性和种类。
用于传送呼叫的网络结构230可例如是普通老式电话业务(POTS)、移动电话网络(比如GSM)或者IP电话(VoIP)。当使用VoIP时，可用会话启动协议(SIP)协商其间的呼叫对话。使用SIP，可在最初的呼叫建立的协商期间或者甚至在最初的呼叫建立之后交换可扩展标记语言(XML)文档。可以与呼叫邀请数据结构一块或在最初的呼叫建立之后提供上下文信息。SIP呼叫建立目前包括一个呼叫邀请数据结构。图2的呼叫邀请数据结构242可基于本原则扩展到包括包含电话呼叫上下文的XML文档。同样地，当前的SIP呼叫建立包括在呼叫被拒绝时的拒绝数据结构。图2的拒绝数据结构252可基于本原则扩展到包括包含拒绝电话呼叫的上下文的XML文档。
如果网络结构230是POTS或蜂窝电话网络，可以使用适合于这些网络的信号发送呼叫邀请数据结构242和呼叫拒绝数据结构252。然而，呼叫者和被呼叫者计算系统都具有用于解码并以数字方式显示呼叫邀请数据结构242和拒绝数据结构252的解释程序以做进一步的处理。
因此，已经描述了一种用于在传送电话呼叫上下文的同时安排电话呼叫的机制。例如，当安排电话呼叫时，呼叫者可以在被呼叫者表明是否接受电话呼叫之前通知被呼叫者电话呼叫的主题、重要性或种类。另一方面，如果被呼叫者拒绝电话呼叫，那么，被呼叫者可以将一声明返回到呼叫者而无需实际接受电话呼叫。依照本发明，使用用于安排和应答电话呼叫的相同用户界面，所有这些即成为可能。
本发明可以其他具体形式体现而不会脱离其精神或基本特性。所描述的实施例应在所有方面被认为仅仅是说明性的而非限制性的。因此，本发明的范围是由附加的权利要求而非由前面的描述所指示。在权利要求的等同方案的意义和范围之内的所有的变化都要包括在权利要求的范围之内。

Claims (30)

1.在能够在呼叫者计算系统和被呼叫者计算系统之间传送电话对话的网络中，一种呼叫者计算系统向被呼叫者计算系统提供电话呼叫的上下文的方法，所述方法包括：
接受指令以安排电话呼叫的动作；
接受用户输入的电话呼叫的上下文标识的动作；
构建包括邀请呼叫者参与电话对话的邀请和用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的邀请数据结构；以及
促使所述呼叫邀请数据结构被传送到呼叫者计算系统的动作。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，进一步包括：
在呼叫者计算系统上显示用户界面的动作，其中所述接受指令以安排电话呼叫的动作包括确定用户已经以表示安排电话呼叫的指令的方式与在用户界面上的机制间通过界面连接的动作。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法，其特征在于，所述机制是第一机制，其中所述接受用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的动作包括确定用户已经以表示用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的方式与在用户界面上的第二机制通过界面连接的动作。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，进一步包括：
在呼叫者计算系统上显示用户界面的动作，其中所述接收用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的动作包括确定用户已经以表示用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的方式与在用户界面上的第二机制通过界面连接的动作。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法，其特征在于，所述用户输入的电话对话上下文标识包括所述对话的期望主题。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法，其特征在于，所述用户输入的电话对话上下文标识包括所述对话的估计的重要性。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法，其特征在于，所述用户输入的电话对话上下文标识包括所述电话对话是否为私人通话的指示。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法，其特征在于，所述用户输入的电话对话上下文标识包括所述电话对话是否为业务通话的指示。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法，其特征在于，所述用户输入的电话对话上下文标识包括所述电话对话是否为商业性质的指示。
10.一种在能够在呼叫者计算系统和被呼叫者计算系统之间传送电话对话的网络中使用的计算机程序产品，该计算机程序产品用于实现一种呼叫者计算系统向被呼叫者计算系统提供电话呼叫上下文的方法，该计算机程序产品包括一种或多种其上具有计算机可执行指令的计算机可读介质，当由呼叫者计算系统的一个或多个处理器执行这些指令时，促使呼叫者计算系统执行该方法，该方法包括：
探测收到指令以安排电话呼叫的动作；
探测收到用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的动作；
构建包括对被呼叫者参与电话对话的邀请和用户输入的电话呼叫上下文标识的邀请数据结构的动作；和
促使呼叫邀请数据结构向被呼叫者计算系统发送的动作。

17.一种在能够在呼叫者计算系统和被呼叫者计算系统之间传送电话对话的网络中使用的计算机程序产品，该计算机程序产品用于实现一种被呼叫者计算系统响应于接收到电话呼叫、根据所传送的已接收电话呼叫的上下文而采取行动的方法，该计算机程序产品包括其上具有计算机可执行指令的一种或多种计算机可读介质，当由被呼叫者计算系统的一个或多个处理器执行这些指令时，促使被呼叫者计算系统执行该方法，该方法包括：

26.一种在能够在呼叫者计算系统和被呼叫者计算系统之间传送电话对话的网络中使用的计算机程序产品，该计算机程序产品用于实现一种被呼叫者计算系统拒绝电话呼叫的同时传送拒绝该电话呼叫的上下文的方法，该方法包括：
探测接收到呼叫邀请数据的动作；

被呼叫者计算系统从呼叫邀请数据结构中读取电话呼叫上下文标识的动作；和
被呼叫者计算系统根据电话呼叫的上下文采取行动的动作。
