Abstract
本发明涉及连同湿法冶炼制备铜一起从铜氯化物溶液中去除二价铜。在铜的制备工艺中,将含铜的原料浸析为含氯化物的溶液。在浸析中形成的铜氯化物溶液包含一价和二价铜,并至少部分地通过沉淀去除二价铜,而铜(I)氯化物溶液被送去做进一步的处理。在碱性铜氯化物沉淀时,发生二价铜的沉淀。所形成的碱性铜氯化物要么单独地,要么与原料浸析一起被浸析为铜(II)氯化物,并在铜原料浸析中被使用。
Description
本发明涉及从与湿法冶炼生产铜有关的铜氯化物溶液中去除二价铜。在铜的生产工艺中,将含铜的原料浸析为含氯化物的溶液。在浸析中形成的铜氯化物溶液包含一价和二价铜,并至少部分地通过沉淀去除二价铜,而铜(I)氯化物溶液被送去做进一步的处理。二价铜的沉淀作为碱性铜氯化物沉淀发生。所形成的碱性铜氯化物要么单独地,要么与原料浸析一起被浸析为铜(II)氯化物,并在铜原料浸析中被使用。
在美国专利申请6,007,600中,说明了一种从含铜原料中制备铜的湿法冶炼方法,所述含铜原料比如有硫化铜精矿。根据这一方法,在几个阶段中,使用氯化钠-铜氯化物溶液进行逆流浸析时对该原料进行浸析,以获得单价的铜(I)氯化物溶液。由于通常残留有一定量的二价的铜(II)氯化物和包含其他金属的杂质,所以对该溶液进行二价铜的还原和溶液纯化。通过使用氢氧化钠将纯的氯化亚铜溶液沉淀为铜氧化混合物(oxidule),该氧化混合物被进一步还原为铜单质。随着铜氧化混合物沉淀形成的氯化钠溶液还在氯气-碱电解中被进一步处理,从这里所获得的氯气和/或氯化物溶液将被用于原料的浸析,在电解中产生的氢氧化钠被用在氧化混合物的沉淀中,所产生的氢气被用于铜单质的还原。
在上面所描述的方法中,所产生的铜氯化物溶液被作为原料浸析的结果,它还含有一些铜(II)氯化物或氯化铜。使用铜颗粒,将氯化铜(II)还原为一价的氯化亚铜。该方法通常是非常有用的,但是在还原时基本上不发生杂质的去除。
现在所开发的方法涉及对在铜原料的氯化物浸析中所产生的铜氯化物溶液做进一步处理,所述铜原料比如有硫化铜精矿。根据本方法,通过使用适当的试剂将铜沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物或铜(II)氯氧化物,将铜氯化物溶液中所含有的至少部分二价铜氯化物(CuCl2)从溶液中除去。至少氢氧化钠和石灰石是优选的试剂。所沉淀的碱性铜氯化物要么被单独浸析,要么和原料浸析一起浸析,并且所产生的铜(II)氯化物溶液被用于原料浸析。从铜(I)氯化物溶液(CuCl)中去除二价铜以后,经过溶液纯化将该溶液送去做进一步的处理以制备铜单质。
例如使用氢氧化铜,能够将包含在铜氯化物溶液中的铜(II)氯化物从溶液中沉淀出来。沉淀是根据如下的反应进行的:
优选地,在氯氧化物浸析中对所产生的铜(II)氯氧化物再次进行沉淀,依靠这样,将所沉淀的Cu2+浸析为铜(II)氯化物,CuCl2。
在浸析中,发生如下反应:
很清楚,浸析不一定需要自己的工艺步骤,但是能够与铜原料浸析一起进行。
二价铜是一种公知的优良的氧化剂,因此在原料浸析中,能够将铜(II)氯化物与氯化钠一起使用。例如,在美国专利5,487,819中对在硫化物原料浸析中使用二价铜进行了说明。类似地,在美国专利6,007,600中,图3也建议使用氯气将铜(I)氯化物溶液的一部分氧化为铜(II)氯化物,并且将其送回进行浸析。在根据本发明的方法中,铜(II)氯化物不是首先被还原为单价,然后再被氧化,而是二价铜从主要含有所述铜氯化物的溶液中沉淀出来,并且此后被沉淀为铜(II)氯化物,使得它能在铜原料浸析中得到利用。
如果在铜湿法冶炼制备工艺中进行铜(II)氯化物的沉淀,并且将碱电解连接到该工艺,那么所需要的氢氧化钠将作为电解的产物获得。浸析所需的氢氯酸也能够从碱电解产生的氢气和氯气制备。但是氢氧化钠和氢氯酸不是贵重的试剂,即使在工艺中不能制备它们,也能对它们进行使用。
进行铜(II)氯氧化物的沉淀不但能够使用氢氧化钠,而且也可以使用石灰石CaCO3进行,并且使用石灰石也经济。如所公知的那样,石灰石是一种便宜的试剂。于是,不通过反应(1),进行如下的反应:
当使用氯化物溶液对比如硫化物精矿的铜原料进行浸析,并形成铜氯化物溶液(其进一步处理基于单价铜氯化物处理)时,优选地从溶液中尽量彻底地除去二价铜。前面已经给出了一种还原二价铜的方式,并且在上面说明了二价铜的沉淀。但是在一些情形中,优选地以这样的方式组合这两种独立的方法,例如使用铜废屑将部分二价铜除去,剩余的通过上面所述的方式沉淀除去。
通过所附的例子对本发明做进一步的说明。
示例
以实验室级别的装置,在连续的操作中进行铜(II)氯氧化物的沉淀。该设备包括两个连续的混合反应器,R1和R2。操作温度为80℃,每个反应器的延迟(delay)为2个小时。
进料溶液的含量如表1所示,被通至第一反应器R1。进料溶液中NaCl的含量是300g/l。含有250g/l的CaCO3和150g/l的NaCl的沉淀试剂被送进反应器R1。石灰石量是根据反应(3)的化学计量。含有160g/l的NaOH和150g/l的NaCl的沉淀试剂被送入反应器R2,使得该反应器的pH值被维持在4。
从后一个反应器R2得到的产物溶液的浓度如表1所示。从结果中可以看出,铜(II)氯氧化物沉淀完全去除了铜氯化物溶液中的二价铜、铁以及80%的硫酸盐。另一方面,锌基本上没有被沉淀,它应该在溶液纯化中被除去。

从反应器R2获得的沉积物中通过X光衍射识别出了碱性铜氯化物和石膏。铜(II)氯氧化物沉降物被作为稠化的淀渣(slime)回收。在HCl溶液中,在25℃下对该淀渣进行浸析,从而将pH值维持在0.7一个小时。该粘土很容易溶解,并且浸析废料含有大约0.5%的铜。
Claims (9)
1.一种用于从主要含铜(I)氯化物的铜氯化物溶液中去除铜(II)氯化物的方法,所述溶液是通过使用逆流氯化物浸析对硫化态铜原料浸析形成,其特征在于,在大气条件下通过至少部分地沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物而除去铜氯化物溶液中所含有的铜(II)氯化物;对所述铜(I)氯化物溶液被送去做进一步的处理以制备金属铜,对所述碱性铜(II)氯化物进行浸析并将所形成的铜(II)氯化物溶液通至铜原料浸析。
2.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,使用氢氧化钠NaOH从铜氯化物溶液将铜(II)氯化物沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物。
3.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,使用石灰石CaCO3从铜氯化物溶液将铜(II)氯化物沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物。
4.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,所述铜氯化物溶液中所含有的铁被除去。
5.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,所述铜氯化物溶液中所含有的硫酸盐被大部分除去。
6.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,使用石灰石CaCO3和氢氧化钠NaOH从铜氯化物溶液将铜(II)氯化物沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物。
7.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,通过首先使用含铜的材料,其后通过将剩余的二价铜沉淀为碱性铜(II)氯化物,将二价铜从所述铜氯化物溶液还原而除去。
8.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,所形成的碱性铜(II)氯化物在它自己的处理步骤时被浸析。
9.如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,所形成的碱性铜(II)氯化物与铜原料浸析一起被浸析。
