技术领域

背景技术
目前烟草行业关注具有减少了冒烟物品的点燃倾向或冒烟物品点燃与其接触的表面的倾向的包装纸的香烟的生产。经常看见由于点燃的香烟与易燃材料接触而引起火灾的报道。烟草行业对减少香烟或其它冒烟物品点燃与其接触的家具、被褥等表面和所使用的材料的倾向非常感兴趣。
因而，所希望的冒烟物品(特别是香烟)的特性是，一旦在可自由燃烧状态下其落在或留在易燃材料上时，能够自己熄灭。
长期以来，烟草行业已经认识到，香烟包装纸对香烟的发烟燃烧特性具有显著的影响。在此方面，进行了各种尝试，从而改变或修改香烟包装纸，以便获得所希望的香烟自己熄灭的倾向，换句话说，减少香烟的点燃倾向。

发明内容
本发明涉及一种具有减少点燃倾向特性的冒烟物品，具有减少点燃倾向的冒烟物品的包装纸以及一种制造所述包装纸的方法。例如在一个实施例中，所述方法包括提供由纸幅制造的包装纸的步骤。包装纸也可以包括重量占10～40％的诸如碳酸钙的填料。
将成膜组成成分施加到包装纸上的特定部位上。多层成膜组成成分在包装纸上形成处理过的不连续区域，处理过的区域由未处理区域分开。处理过的区域具有足以减少点燃倾向的渗透性。例如，随着炭燃烧并进入处理后区域，通过减少到达冒烟物品的阴燃炭的氧气数量，处理过区域可以减少点燃倾向。

可以相信本发明的一般原理可以与任何适合的成膜材料结合。例如根据本发明可以使用的成膜材料包括藻朊酸盐、瓜尔胶、果胶、聚乙烯醇、诸如乙基纤维素、甲基纤维素和羧甲基纤维素之类的纤维素衍生物、淀粉、淀粉衍生物等。
下文将结合使用包含藻朊酸盐的成膜组成成份详细介绍符合本发明的方法和所制造的产品。然而，应该理解的是，围绕使用藻酸盐的介绍仅是用于介绍目的，许多其它不同类型的成膜材料可以被结合到本方法中。

已经发现，符合本发明的具有相对较高固体成份的成膜组成成分较好地适合于在香烟包装纸上形成减少点燃倾向的区域。是否使用单道次操作或多道次操作，都已经发现，该组成成分非常有效地减少包装纸上被处理区域的渗透性，降低了结合了该包装纸的冒烟物品点燃邻近表面的能力。特别有利地，符合本发明的成膜组成成分适合于停止(shutting down)初始具有较高渗透性的包装纸的点燃倾向特性的渗透性，例如至少具有60考斯特(Coresta)单位渗透性的包装纸。
为了有助于描述和介绍本发明。结合图1和2介绍本发明一个实施例。具有改进的点燃倾向特性的冒烟物品(香烟)10包括在包装纸14内的烟柱(tobacco column)12。物品10可以包括过滤嘴(filter)26。包装纸14可以是市场上可以购买到的任何香烟包装纸。
通常，所述包装纸可以由诸如亚麻、软木或硬木得到的纤维素纤维制造，为了根据希望改变纸张的特性，可以使用不同的纤维素纤维混合物。也可以改变被精制的纤维含量。

如上所述，组成成分可以被喷、刷或印刷在包装纸上。通常，任何适合的印刷方法都可以在本发明中使用。申请人已经发现适合的印刷技术包括照相凹版印刷或胶版印刷。在一个实施例中，如图3所示，纸层14从供应辊40上退卷下来，并沿箭头所示方向运动。另一种方案是，可以利用一种或多种纸张制造方法形成纸层14，无需首先被存储在供应辊40上，纸层14被直接输送到加工点50。
如图3所示，在颠倒的S路径，纸张层14通过S形辊布置42的辊隙。从S形辊布置42，纸层14通过照相凹版印刷设备44。照相凹版印刷处理可以是直接印刷处理或间接印刷处理，例如通过使用胶版印刷机。图3显示了间接印刷处理。
照相凹版印刷设备44包含组成成分罐46和刮刀48，刮刀48将组成成分52加到凹板印刷辊54上。
凹板印刷辊54可以被雕刻普通的连续单元图案(cell pattern)(也就是四边形单元图案)，所述单元图案设成跨过辊宽度的平行带，在每个带之间是非雕刻区域。每个雕刻单元保持少量的组成成分，所述组成成分以图案形式被转送到橡胶敷料辊56上。纸层14通过橡胶敷料辊56和支承辊58之间的辊隙。所述组成成分从橡胶敷料辊56被转印到纸14的表面上，从而形成被涂料的纸张60。可以控制凹板印刷辊54和支承辊58的速度，使得两者的速度相同或有微量的差别，从而影响组成成分的涂覆。一旦组成成分被加到纸层14上，如果希望，纸层14可以被干燥。
例如如图3所示，离开照相凹版印刷设备44之后，卷筒纸14经过干燥操作62。在干燥操作期间，使用不同的设备和方法，处理过的纸张可以被干燥。例如在一个实施例中，干燥操作62包括向卷筒纸上方通诸如空气的热气的干燥设备。所述空气的温度大约是100～600。在另一个实施例中，干燥设备可以是蒸汽发生器。在被照相凹版印刷设备用一个组成成分处理后，卷筒纸可以与所述蒸汽发生器接触，对所述组成成分进行干燥。
除了用热气或蒸汽发生器对纸张进行干燥之外，在本发明的另一个实施例中，通过使纸张与红外线接触，可以对所述纸张进行干燥。例如，在一个实施例中，纸张可以在红外线加热灯下通过。
在本发明另一个实施例中，在干燥加热期间，卷筒纸14可以简单地被干燥操作62进行空气干燥。
应该理解的是，图3所示工序仅表示一种将组成成分施加到包装纸上的一个实施例。例如，大量印刷站可以被设置在任何位置，从而在多道次处理中施加组成成分。
以上已对本发明作了十分详细的描述，所以阅读和理解了本说明书后，对本领域技术人员来说，本发明的各种改变和修改将变得明显。所以一切如此改动和修正也包括在此发明中，因此它们在权利要求书的保护范围内。

Claims (36)

1.一种具有减少点燃倾向特性的冒烟物品，所述的物品包括：
包括可抽烟草的柱；
围绕所述可抽烟草的柱的包装纸，所述包装纸包括由成膜组成成分处理过的不连续区域，所述处理过的区域被未处理区域分隔，处理过的区域具有足以减少点燃倾向的渗透性，被施加到包装纸上的成膜组成成份包括被包含在溶液内的一定数量的成膜材料，成膜材料包括藻酸盐，所述溶液内固体含量至少是6％重量，在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于500cP。
2.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：所述藻酸盐是海藻酸钠。
3.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：以重量计算，所述溶液中的固体含量至少是10％重量。
4.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于250cP。
5.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于100cP。
6.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：处理过的区域的渗透性小于40考斯特单位。
7.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：所述成膜材料包括下述材料，瓜尔胶、果胶、聚乙烯醇、纤维素衍生物、淀粉、淀粉衍生物，以及上述材料的混合物。
8.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：处理过的区域的燃烧众数指数BMI是1～5cm-1。
9.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：处理过的区域被印刷到包装纸上。
10.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：包装纸上未处理区域的渗透性大于60考斯特单位。
11.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：处理过的区域包括多个沿冒烟物品纵向分布的不连续周向带。
12.如权利要求11所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：所述带以5～50毫米的间距彼此间隔，所述带的宽度大于3毫米。
13.如权利要求1所述冒烟物品，其特征在于：处理过的区域还包括柠檬酸盐，所述带上的柠檬酸盐重量占包装纸重量的1～3％重量。
14.一种冒烟物品的包装纸，具有向冒烟物品提供减少的点燃倾向特性，所述的包装纸包括：
围绕可以冒烟的填料的纸幅，纸幅包括由成膜组成成分处理过的不连续区域，处理过的区域被未处理区域分开，处理过的区域具有足以减少组合有包装纸的冒烟物品的点燃倾向的渗透性，被施加到包装纸上的成膜组成成分包括被包含在溶液内的成膜材料，成膜材料包括藻酸盐，所述溶液内的固体含量至少为6％重量，在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于500cP。
15.如权利要求14所述包装纸，其特征在于：所述藻酸盐是海藻酸钠。
16.如权利要求14所述包装纸，其特征在于：所述溶液中的固体含量至少是10％重量。
17.如权利要求14所述包装纸，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％时，成膜材料的粘度小于250cP。
18.如权利要求14所述包装纸，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于100cP。

22.如权利要求14所述包装纸，其特征在于：处理过的区域包括多个沿冒烟物品纵向分布的不连续周向带，所述带的宽度大于3毫米，所述带以5～50毫米的间距彼此间隔。
23.一种用于生产当被组合在冒烟物品上时具有减少点燃倾向特性的包装纸的方法，包括如下步骤：
提供由纸幅组成的包装纸；
将成膜组成成份施加到所述包装纸的特定位置上，所述成膜组成成分在所述包装纸上形成处理过的不连续区域，处理过的区域被未处理的区域分隔，处理过的不连续区域具有足以减少点燃倾向的渗透性，成膜组成成分包括被包含在溶液内的成膜材料，成膜材料包括藻酸盐，所述溶液内的固体含量至少为6％重量，在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于500cP。
24.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：所述藻酸盐是海藻酸钠。
25.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：溶液中存在成膜材料，使所述溶液中的固体含量至少是15％重量。
26.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于250cP。
27.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：在25℃下，当溶液内成膜材料的含量是3％重量时，成膜材料的粘度小于100cP。
28.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：处理过的区域的渗透性小于40考斯特单位。
29.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：所述成膜材料包括下述材料，瓜尔胶、果胶、聚乙烯醇、纤维素衍生物、淀粉、淀粉衍生物，以及上述材料的混合物。
30.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：处理过的区域的燃烧众数指数BMI是1～5cm-1。
31.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：成膜组成成分被印刷到包装纸上。
32.如权利要求31所述方法，其特征在于：采用多道次操作，将成膜组成成分印刷到包装纸上。
33.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：处理过的区域包括多个沿冒烟物品纵向分布的不连续周向带，所述带的宽度大于3毫米，所述带以4～30毫米的间距彼此间隔。
34.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：使用照相凹版印刷将成膜组成成分印刷到包装纸上。
35.如权利要求23所述方法，其特征在于：所述成膜组成成分被施加到包装纸上，在处理过的不连续区域内，成膜组成成分与包装纸的重量比是30％。
36.一种用于生产当被组合在冒烟物品上时具有减少点燃倾向特性的包装纸的方法，包括如下步骤：
提供由纸幅组成的包装纸，所述纸幅包括填料；
将成膜组成成份印刷到所述包装纸的特定位置上，从而在所述包装纸上形成处理过的不连续区域，处理过的不连续区域被未处理过的区域分开，处理过的不连续区域具有足以减少冒烟物品的点燃倾向且不导致冒烟物品在自由燃烧状态下自己熄灭的渗透性，成膜组成成分包括包含藻酸盐的水溶液，所述溶液包括藻酸盐的量使得所述溶液内的固体含量至少为8％重量，在25℃下，当水溶液内藻酸盐的含量是3％时，藻酸盐的粘度小于250cP，当与冒烟物品组合时，处理过的区域沿包装纸的长度形成周向带，处理过的区域的渗透性小于30考斯特单位，燃烧众数指数BMI小于5cm-1，被施加到包装纸处理过的区域上的成膜组成成分的重量与包装纸的重量之比为2～20％。
