Abstract

发明领域
本发明涉及一种可再封闭的热塑性塑料袋。
背景技术
可再封闭的热塑性塑料袋有各种各样的应用,特别是在食品工业中更是如此。这些袋一般包括两个对置的侧壁,该对置的侧壁沿着侧边和底部连接在一起,以便形成袋的侧边和袋底。袋还包括一个沿着侧壁顶部或袋口的可再封闭式紧固件。有时在袋的底部有一个褶状部,该褶状部帮助扩展可用来贮藏的容积。
一般地说,可再封闭式紧固件沿着袋口的中心线延伸。也就是说,当从袋的顶部观察时,可再封闭式紧固件将直接跨过中心设置。然而,当袋装满并闭合时,沿着袋口中心线的可再封闭式紧固件往往会伸出超过袋的侧边。当将袋插入一个第二容器如一个盒子中时,由于紧固件伸出太远,以致袋不容易装配到一个密配合式容器中,所以这是个问题。
为了使袋更适合作为衬里,已经作了某些改进。例如,授予VanErden等人的美国专利No.Re 34,317描述了一种在袋的四个角处具有倒角密封的袋,因此避免了四个角影响将装满的袋轻易地接收和包装在完全密配合的纸板箱中。另一个例子是授予Kuge等人的美国专利No.5,275,491,该专利描述了一种袋,该袋具有沿着袋的侧边垂直向下延伸的向内折叠。此外,授予Zieke的美国专利No.5,080,253描述了袋的一种切头式或倒角式顶段及沿着袋侧边的褶状部。对紧固件进行这种改进存在的一个问题是,当袋口打开时,可用的区域被限制,同时使得装满袋比较困难。
在上述可再封闭的袋中,可再封闭式紧固件沿着袋口的中心线设置。这种沿着中心线设置的紧固件存在的问题是,当袋装满时,紧固件从袋的侧边伸出,同时使袋作为密配合容器的衬里不合要求。也就是说,为了用这种袋作为容器的衬里,容器必须比所要求的要大,以便使紧固件能装配在容器内部,因而造成了容器内部空间的浪费。而且,如果如此将紧固件切断,以使它不伸出,则由于袋口打开受到限制,所以袋变得难以装满。在可再封闭的热塑性塑料袋技术中,提供下述袋将是一种进步,该袋能够很方便地用作密配合容器的衬里,而当袋打开时,仍然保持一种比较不受限制的袋口打开。
发明概述
本发明提供一种现有技术袋的可供选择的方案。在一种情况下,本发明是一种可再封闭的热塑性塑料袋,它包括:第一和第二侧壁,每个侧壁都具有一个顶部、一个底部和两个对置的侧边,第一和第二侧壁沿着各侧边并靠近底部连接在一起;一个跨过第一侧壁设置的向里折叠的上褶状部;一个可再封闭式紧固件,它具有至少两个协同工作的锁合构件,其中一个锁合构件靠近褶状部上方第一侧壁的顶部设置,另一个锁合构件靠近第二侧壁的顶部设置,因此当袋装满并闭合时,可再封闭式紧固件被偏置。

本发明袋的一个重要优点是,可再封闭式紧固件是偏置的,因此它沿着袋的周边而不是沿着中心线延伸。结果,可再封闭式紧固件不从袋的侧边伸出,并且不必切断以便装配在密配合容器的内部。这使得有可能更好地利用袋作为衬里,而仍然保持袋口的整个区域打开,以便可用来装满袋。

实现本发明的最佳方式
图1示出本发明的一种热塑性塑料袋B。袋10包括对置的侧壁11和12,向里折叠的上褶状部13,和可再封闭式紧固件14。在所示的实施例中,袋10还包括下褶状部15。
袋10可用任何合适的热塑性塑料薄膜制造,例如象用低密度聚乙烯、线性低密度聚乙烯、基本上是乙烯和C3-C8α-烯烃的线性共聚物、聚丙烯、聚氯乙烯、这些聚合物其中两种或两种以上的混合物、或这些聚合物的其中一种或一种以上与另一种热塑性聚合物的混合物制造。
热塑性塑料薄膜可以是任何所希望的厚度。优选的是,薄膜厚度大于约0.5密耳(mil),更优选的是大于约0.75密耳,而最优选的是大于约1.0密耳。优选的是,薄膜厚度小于约10.0密耳,更优选的是小于约7.5密耳,而最优选的是小于约5.0密耳。
每个侧壁11和12都具有一个顶部23a、23b,一个底部25a、25b,和两个对置的侧边。各侧壁的顶部形成袋10的一个袋口27。各侧壁的侧边是共用的,并且密封在一起,以形成共用的侧边密封16和17。该侧边密封可以用任何所希望的方法形成,例如象用脉冲热合法、热丝封合法、热切刀封合法、折叠法、采用胶粘剂或任何其它所希望的方法来形成。侧壁11和12还用任何所希望的方法,例如家用脉冲热合法、热丝封合法、热切刀封合法、折叠法、采用胶粘剂,或任何其它所希望的方法,沿着袋10的底部25相互连接。
本发明的一个重要特点是上褶状部13,该上褶状部13沿着侧壁11至少其中之一的宽度横向设置。最好是,上褶状部13靠近侧壁11的顶部设置。此处“靠近侧壁的顶部”被定义为意指比接近底部25更接近侧壁11的顶部23a。
上褶状部13只不过是横跨侧壁11的宽度延伸的向里折叠。上褶状部13是一种与向外折叠不同的向里折叠,意思是指当它处于收缩状态时,在侧壁11的内部形成一个凹穴(pocket),而与图3所示的粘着在侧壁外面的片状件不同。上褶状部13使侧壁11能有效地相对于侧壁12延长,因而向外扩展比侧壁11不折叠能够扩展的更远,如图1和4A、4B所示。因此,当袋子装满并且褶状部13扩展时,与紧固件14相反,上褶状部13的内部折痕13a变成袋的中心线C。照这样,可再封闭式紧固件14从袋10被收缩时图3所示的它的初始中央位置移动到袋子被装满时如图1,4A和4B所示的偏置位置,并且与装满时沿着袋口的中心线设置相反,可以扩展。
图4A和4B示出本发明的偏置或紧固件的顶视图。图4A和4B中的虚线说明其中称之为袋口中心线C的是什么。如图所示,可再封闭式紧固件14不是沿着袋口的中心线C延伸,而是将可再封闭式紧固件14偏置,以便当袋装满并从壁11离开朝壁12方向弯时,它沿着袋的周边设置。
上褶状部13可以是任何所希望的深度。这里上褶状部13的深度d1被定义为可再封闭式紧固件的底和折叠之间的距离。有利的是,d1最大值是袋宽W的1/4倍。这里袋宽W被定义为从袋的一侧密封16到另一侧密封17的距离。
改变上褶状部13的深度d1,将改变装满的袋形状。例如,具有深度为d1的比较深的褶状部当从顶部观察时,将形成一个椭圆形的袋,如图4A所示。另一方面,具有深度为d1的比较浅的褶状部当从顶部观察时,将形成长得多的矩形形状,如图4B所示。因此,合适深度d1的选择取决于供袋最后使用的所希望的形状。有利的是,当下褶状部15结合在袋中时,下褶状部15的深度d2等于d1。照这样,袋的形状将从顶部到底部都是均匀的。袋可以是圆筒形,因此它是面包等的有效储藏袋,或者袋可以具有方角,因此它是谷类食品盒等的有效衬里。
可再封闭式紧固件14靠近袋10的顶部沿着袋10的宽度设置。可再封闭式紧固件比上褶状部13更接近袋的顶部23设置,因此,当袋如图2所示是平的时,可再封闭式紧固件设置在袋的上褶状部13和顶部23之间。
可再封闭式紧固件14可以是任何所希望类型的紧固件,这些紧固件具有可对接、可再封闭的紧固构件或元件31、32,该紧固件31,32由邻近袋10顶部23的袋壁11、12承载,例如,象塑料拉链、带滑扣的塑料拉链、粘接的紧固件、VELCRO、按扣、或任何其它类型的可再封闭式紧固件。最好是,可再封闭式紧固件14是一种具有协同工作锁合元件的塑料拉链,例如,象美国专利No.5,140,727中所述的肋槽元件、美国专利No.5,007,143中所述的滚动作用锁合元件,或美国专利No.4,747,702中所述的带联锁钩的U形锁合元件。此外,如果希望的话,该紧固件可以包括一个滑扣,该滑扣沿着紧固件移动并适合开闭该紧固件,例如,象美国专利No.5,070,583和美国专利No.5,007,142中所述的那种。
可再封闭式紧固件14可以单独挤压成形并连接到袋的侧壁11和12上,或者它可以与袋的侧壁一起整体式挤压成形。本发明的侧壁和可再封闭式紧固件可以用该技术中人所共知的方法,例如,象吹塑或铸塑法制造。
本发明的袋可以用一张薄膜制造,该张薄膜具有沿其宽度设置的可再封闭式紧固件。最好是,将该张薄膜折叠,以便形成两层薄膜,同时可再封闭式紧固件位于这两层薄膜的其中一端处。本发明的袋最好是通过靠近紧固件向里折叠两层薄膜其中之一的一部分来制造,以便形成一个上褶状部;将两层薄膜一起横向密封到上褶状部上,以便形成第一侧边密封;在距第一侧边密封的距离为W处将两层薄膜一起横向密封到上褶状部上。最好是,该方法还包括靠近底边25向里折叠至少其中一层,以便形成下褶状部15。
上褶状部和下褶状部二者可用如美国专利Nos.5,246,416、5,186,707、5,083,999、5,147,278中所述的这些方法形成。实例
用标准的平挤薄膜设备形成一张30英寸的薄膜。薄膜包括这样一种肋-槽式塑料拉链,以使肋元件在薄膜的一端处,而槽元件在薄膜的另一端处。将薄膜这样对半折叠,以便形成两层薄膜,一层在其口端处具有肋元件,而另一层在一个口端处具有槽元件。将肋元件和槽元件这样设置,以使它们相互联锁。两层之间的折叠是袋的底边。
通过向里折叠其中一层到深度d1为6.35cm形成上褶状部。然后通过在底边处向里折叠到深度d2为6.35cm形成下褶状部。然后将两层在相距25.4cm的距离处一起横向脉冲热合到肋和槽锁合元件止。
在工业上的可应用性
袋对将大量松散物品贮藏在可再封闭的袋中是有用的。
Claims (10)
1.一种可再封闭的热塑性塑料储藏袋,包括:
一对热塑性材料制造的对置的侧壁,它们沿着一共用的底边结合在一起,及沿着其共用的两侧边通过共用的侧边密封结合在一起,并且它们具有提供袋口的相邻顶边;
可再封闭式紧固构件,它们邻近上述顶边,并在上述袋侧边密封之间横向延伸,该紧固构件可选择性地结合,以便闭合上述袋口;和
至少上述壁的其中之一邻近其上述顶边具有一向里折叠的可扩展的上褶状部,它由折起上述一个壁的一部分提供,也就是说,当所述袋处于收缩状态时,对着上述一个壁向里折叠,该可扩展的上褶状部跨过上述的一个壁横向延伸,并且有对置的边,该对置的边通过上述共用侧边密封结合到壁上,上述上褶状部在各侧边密封之间不受限制,并可以用这种方式选择性地扩展,以便有效地相对于上述壁其中另一个延长一个壁,并因而将上述可再封闭的紧固构件从袋处于折叠状态时壁之间的中央开始位置移动到袋处于扩展状态时的偏置位置,其中该可再封闭式紧固构件离开上述一个壁向外朝另一个壁弯。
