Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种选择性制备醋酸的方法,它通过乙烷及/或乙烯在含钯的催化剂的存在下进行气相氧化反应而实现。
从例如US-A-4 250 346,US-A-4 524 236和US-A-4 568 790已知,在温度>500℃下乙烷气相氧化脱氢成乙烯。
因此,US-A-4250346描述了包括其比例为a∶b∶c的元素钼、X和Y的催化剂组合物用来将乙烷转化成乙烯的用途,其中X是Cr,Mn,Nb,Ta,Ti,V,和/或W,而Y是Bi,Ce,Co,Cu,Fe,K,Mg,Ni,P,Pb,Sb,Si,Sn,Ti及/或U,而a是1,b是0.05-1和c是0-2。Co,Ni及Fe的c总值在此必须小于0.5。反应最好在加入的水存在下进行。那些公开的催化剂可以同样地用于乙烷氧化得到醋酸,乙烷转化7.5%时转化成醋酸的效率大约为18%。
上述申请主要涉及乙烯的制备,较少将醋酸作为制备目标。
相反地,EP-B-0294845描述从乙烷、乙烯或其混合物与氧在催化剂混合物的存在下选择性制备醋酸的方法,该催化剂混合物包括至少A)一化学式为MoxVy或MoxVyZy的锻烧了的催化剂,其中Z是一种或多种金属Li,Na,Be,Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba,Zn,Cd,Hg,Sc,Y,La,Ce,Al,Tl,Ti,Zr,Hf,Pb,Nb,Ta,As,Sb,Bi,Cr,W,U,Te,Fe,Co和Ni,而x是0.5-0.9,y是0.1-0.4,且z是0.001-1,和B)和乙烯水合作用催化剂及/或乙烯氧化作用催化剂。第二催化剂组份B特别是一种分子筛催化剂或含钯的氧化催化剂。当使用所述的催化剂混合物而且使包括乙烷、氧、氮和水蒸汽的气体混合物经过含有催化剂的反应器时,乙烷转化率为7%时的最大选择性为27%。根据EP0294845,乙烷的高转化率仅使用所述的催化剂混合物而达到,但是未使用包含组份A和B的单一催化剂。
制备包括乙烯及/或醋酸的产物的另一方法描述在EP-B-0407091中。在此,乙烷及/或乙烯和一种包括分子氧的气体在升温下与一包括元素A、X和Y的催化剂组合物接触。在此A为ModReeWf,X是Cr,Mn,Nb,Ta,Ti,V及/或W,而Y是Bi,Ce,Co,Cu,Fe,K,Mg,Ni,P,Pb,Sb,Si,Sn,Tl及/或U。当使用所述催化剂于乙烷氧化成醋酸的反应时,能够达到的最大选择性为78%。此外所形成的副产品为二氧化碳、一氧化碳和乙烯。
然而,上面列出的公开出版物没有一件描述使用包括元素钯和钼的催化剂来选择性氧化乙烷及/或乙烯成醋酸的应用。此外,到现在为止,现有技术所达到的氧化成醋酸的选择性仍不是很满意。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种使乙烷及/或乙烯以简单而且指向性的方式、在非常温和的反应条件下高选择性地氧化而得到醋酸。
令人惊讶地发现,可使用一种包括元素钼、钯以及一种或多种选自铬,锰,铌,钽,钛,钡,碲及/或钨的催化剂,可以在相当温和的条件下,以简单方式高选择性地氧化乙烷及/或乙烯,而得到醋酸。本发明因此提供一种从包括乙烷、乙烯或其混合物以及氧的气体进料、在升温下选择性地制备醋酸的方法,该方法包括,将气体进料与包括其克原子比为a∶b∶c∶d的元素Mo、Pd、X和Y的催化剂以及氧一起接触

克原子比a∶b∶c∶d优选地在下列的范围里:

b=0.0001-0.5;
c=0.1-1.0和
d=0-1.0。
超出所述范围上限的催化剂里的钯含量在本发明的方法里将促使二氧化碳形成。此外,因为较高的钯含量使催化剂变得不必要地贵,所以通常也避免它的高含量。与此相对的是,低于所述范围的钯含量则有助乙烯形成。
本发明所用的催化剂优选地不但包括元素钼和钯,而且也包括钒、铌、锑和钙,与氧一起使用。元素Mo∶Pd∶V∶Nb∶Sb∶Ca的克原子比例a∶b∶c1∶c2∶d1∶d2优选为:
a(Mo)=1;
b(Pd)=0.0001-0.5尤其是0.0001-0.05;
c1(V)=0.1-1.0;
c2(Nb)-0.1-0.5;
d1(Sb)=0-0.5;
d2(Ca)=0-0.2。
在本发明的方法中被优选使用的这类催化剂组合物的例子是:

本发明所用的催化剂可以通过传统的方法制备。这些催化剂从浆料,特别是水溶液开始,其中根据其比例包括各个起始组份。
制备本发明催化剂时各个组份的起始物质,除了氧化物之外,优选为例如铵盐、硝酸盐、硫酸盐、卤化物、氢氧化物的可水溶性物质和可以通过加热转化成对应氧化物的有机酸盐等。为了要混合组份,制备并混合金属盐的水溶液或悬浮液。
就钼而言,推荐使用对应的钼酸盐,例如钼酸铵当做起始化合物是适当的,因为它易于从市场得到。
适当的钯化合物,例如是氯化钯(Ⅱ)、硫酸钯(Ⅱ)、硝酸四胺钯(Ⅱ)、硝酸钯(Ⅱ)和乙酰丙酮酸钯(Ⅱ)。
然后在50到100℃下搅拌所得的反应混合物5分钟到5小时。接着去水,并将剩余的催化剂在50到150℃,特别是80到120℃的温度下干燥。
如果获得的催化剂接着进行锻烧,则将干燥且粉碎了的催化剂在100到800℃,特别是200到500℃的温度下,在氮、氧或含氧气体的存在下煅烧是适当的。煅烧历时2到24小时。
催化剂可不含载体材料而使用,或可以与适当的载体材料混合或涂敷其上。适当的载体材料为惯用的材料,例如多孔性二氧化硅、经灼烧的二氧化硅、硅藻土、硅胶、多孔或非多孔性氧化铝、二氧化钛、二氧化锆、二氧化钍、氧化镧、氧化镁、氧化钙、氧化钡、氧化锡、二氧化铈、氧化锌、氧化硼、氮化硼、碳化硼、磷酸硼、磷酸锆、硅酸铝、氮化硅或碳化硅,亦可为玻璃、碳纤维、金属氧化物或金属网或相应的整体结构物。
优选的载体材料的表面积小于100平方米/克。优选的载体材料为具有低的比表面积的二氧化硅和氧化铝。催化剂可以在成型之后以规则的或不规则的成形载体物或以粉末形式作为异相氧化催化剂使用。
反应可以在流化床或固定床反应器里进行。对于在流化床里使用而言,催化剂被磨成10到200微米的粒子大小。
气体进料包括以纯气体或与一种或多种其他气体混和而送进反应器里的乙烷及/或乙烯。该类适当的额外气体或载气例如是氮、甲烷、一氧化碳、二氧化碳、空气及/或水蒸汽。包含氧分子的气体可以是空气或比空气多含或少含分子氧的气体,例如氧气。水蒸汽的比例可以是0到50体积%。以工艺技术的观点来看,较高的水蒸汽浓度将不必要地造成所得醋酸的处理成本更昂贵。乙烷/乙烯对氧的比例有利地在1∶1和10∶1,优选2∶1和8∶1的范围内。更高的氧含量为优选的,因为可达成的乙烷转化率和因此醋酸产率更高。优选的是加入氧气或含有超出在反应条件下爆炸极限浓度范围的氧分子的气体,因为这使得方法的进行简化。然而,也可以将乙烷/乙烯对氧的比例设在爆炸极限之内。
反应可以在200到500,优选在200到400℃的温度下进行。压力可以是大气压或超大气压,例如在1和50巴之间,优选1到30巴的范围。
反应可以在固定床或流化床反应器里进行。有利地,在氧或含氧分子的气体进料之前,乙烷先与例如氮等惰性气体或水蒸汽混合。那些经混合的气体优选地在气体混合物与催化剂接触之前,于预热区里预热至反应温度。醋酸通过冷凝从离开反应器的气体中分离。剩余的气体循环到反应器入口,此处氧或包含氧分子的气体以及乙烷及/或乙烯被计量加入。
本发明催化剂与现有技术已知的催化剂比较显示,在同一反应条件(反应进料气体、压力、反应器里的停留时间)下,但在明显较低的温度下,本发明催化剂甚至达到更高的醋酸选择性(表1;实施例3(据本发明):醋酸选择性=77%;实施例13(EP-0407091):醋酸选择性=60%)。与US-A-4250346描述的催化剂组合物相比,反应成醋酸的选择性甚至可以在较低反应压力、温度和停留时间下经由本发明的催化剂猛增(参见实施例1(根据本发明):温度=250℃,压力=7巴,停留时间=14秒,醋酸选择性=84%;实施例12(US-A-4250346):温度=280℃,压力=15巴,停留时间=30秒,醋酸选择性=32%)。
同样地,时空产率可以通过本发明的催化剂(表1)增加许多。时空产率代表每一单位时间和单位催化剂体积所制造的醋酸数量。因为较高的时空产率能够使反应器的尺寸和循环流通的气体数量减少,所以需要较高的时空产率。
当使用本发明催化剂的时候,在乙烷转化率>4%,优选>5%,特别>6%时,在乙烷及/或乙烯氧化成醋酸的选择性是≥60摩尔%,优选为≥75摩尔%,特别是≥80摩尔%,所以与先前技术相比,使用本发明的方法能够增加以简单的方式使醋酸的产率而同时减少不要的副产物形成。
实施例
在实施例中所叙述的催化剂组成系以相对原子比给出的。催化剂的制备催化剂(Ⅰ):
制备具有下列组成的催化剂:
Mo1.00V0.25Nb0.12Pd0.0005溶液1:
250亳升水里含10.22克偏钒酸铵。溶液2:
200亳升水里含61.75克钼酸铵和0.039克醋酸钯。溶液3:
25毫升水里含27.51克草酸铌。
分别将这些溶液在90℃搅拌15分钟。然后将第三种溶液加入第一溶液中。在第二溶液被加入之前,将合并的混合溶液在90℃搅拌15分钟。将所得的混合物在90℃搅拌15分钟。接着在热板上将水去除,直到形成厚的糊状物。将其在120℃干燥过夜。将固体压碎(筛分:0.35-2毫米),接着在400℃静态空气里烧4小时。然后将催化剂过筛,以获得0.35-1毫米的筛子分。催化剂(Ⅱ):

为了测试催化剂的热安定性,将催化剂(Ⅰ)和(Ⅴ)装在反应器里并操作100个小时(反应条件:280℃,15巴,30秒停留时间;反应气体的组成如上)。在操作时间之后,从反应床的开端各取出一份样品并定量分析其组成。使用过和未使用的催化剂组成比较如下表所示。
