硬表面清洗剂的主要用途是完全和有效地清洗需要清洗的表面。但是,如果洗后留下成膜、残留物或条纹时,清洗过程的成功与否就值得怀疑了。因此,不仅硬表面清洗剂洗涤表面会成为问题,而且还留给表面清洗的痕迹。在完全平滑或半平滑表面上的条纹、膜和残留物在一定程度上是可见的,而在高度反射或“有光泽的”表面(如玻璃,陶瓷)上就更是可见的了。
硬表面清洗剂领域熟练技术人员通常可以理解地是,不管表面被“洗净”的程度如何,仅仅是由于清洗体系引起的残留迹象就可对清洗剂产品的效率产生怀疑。消费者可以高强度(净态)或稀释的形式使用硬表面清洗剂。当直接使用硬表面清洗剂时,可以把它们径直喷在表面上,倒在海绵或布上,或者通过附属的涂缚器具使用。当它们以稀释的形式使用时,可把清洗剂倒入桶里或其它装有水的容器中,但这两种清洗过程均可能形成膜、条纹、污斑或残留物。

本发明的详细描述

磺基琥珀酰胺酸盐

CH3(CH2)xCH2O(CH2CH2O)yH其中x是6左右至12左右,优选8左右至10左右;y是3.5左右至10左右,优选4左右至7左右。对本发明而言,指数y是指当适当的醇与亚乙基氧基部分的源体接触反应时所得到的平均乙氧基化度,因此,所有的部分都在3.5至10的范围之内。
附加材料
除了上述所需要的材料以外,在组合物中可存在其它的附加组分和载体。附加组分的实例是缓冲剂,助洗剂,螯合剂,填充盐,分散剂,酶,酶增效剂,香料,增稠剂,粘土,溶剂,去污的表面活性剂,和它们的混合物。这个一览表并不意味着它们全部包括或排除适合用于本发明的物质。
典型的本发明硬表面清洗剂含有至少0.1%,优选至少0.5%重量的2-乙基己基磺基琥珀酰胺酸盐,和至少0.1%,优选至少0.5%重量的非离子表面活性剂,该非离子表面活性剂具有8至14个碳醇部分以及乙氧基化的平均单位为3.5至10。
通常把水用作“喷施(spray on)”或“轻垢型”组合物的填充溶剂,或者用来平衡浓度。但是,本领域熟练技术人员也可使用其它适宜的溶剂,例如在要求快速干燥和低温清洗的实施方案中使用如甲醇、异丙醇和其它类似溶剂。除了在使用前由顾客向其中添加载体的浓缩剂以外,本发明的组合物包括至少40%,优选至少45%,更优选至少50%重量的水作为载体。按照本发明制备的浓缩剂在使用前稀释到前文所述的浓度。
本发明还提供了清洗需要清洗的硬表面的方法,用该方法清洗的硬表面可见的条纹、污斑和残留量减少。本发明的方法包括使需要清洗的表面与本发明所述的硬表面清洗剂组合物接触的步骤。此方法包括直接使用(净态)清洗剂组合物,或先把组合物用足够量的水或其它载体稀释后再使用。
对附加组分的进一步描述
如上所述,本发明的组合物可选择地含有一种或多种其它硬表面清洗附加材料、载体、溶剂或其它有利于或增加洗涤效果、对需清洁的基质的处理或改进洗涤剂组合物感官性能的材料(如香料,着色剂,染料等)。常用的添加材料是缓冲剂,助洗剂,螯合剂,填充盐,分散剂,酶,酶增效剂,香料,增稠剂,粘土,溶剂,去污的表面活性剂,和它们的混合物。但此一览表仅仅是说明,而不意味着限制或排除。下面是这些附加材料的说明性实例。
助洗剂--助洗剂可选择性的包括在本发明组合物中以有助于控制无机硬度。优选的是在本发明组合物的标准用量下具有减少成膜/条纹性能的助洗剂。当把表面活性剂的助洗剂加入硬表面清洗剂中时,加入特定标准用量的表面活性剂助洗剂可进一步改进清洁能力而没有通常会出现的成膜/条纹问题。然而,根据本发明组合物所作出的改进,对用于防止成膜和成条纹的助洗剂的需求减少了。无机和有机的助洗剂均可使用。
根据组合物的使用目的和其所要求的物理形式,助洗剂的用量可在很大范围内变化。典型地,在有助洗剂存在时,组合物中可含有至少0.1%的助洗剂。液体制剂一般含有0.1%至约0.5%,更典型的含有约0.2%至约2%重量的表面活性剂的助洗剂。但是,也不排除较低或较高的用量。
适用于本发明组合物的助洗剂包括多羧酸盐和磷酸盐,以及下文所列其它助洗剂。在多羧酸盐助洗剂中包括多种可用的材料。一类重要的多羧酸盐助洗剂有醚多羧酸盐(ether polycarboxylate),包括Berg,USP 3,128,287,1964年4月7日公布,和Lamberti等,USP 3,635,830,1972年1月18公布的氧联二琥珀酸盐。还可参见1987年5月5日公布的,Bush等人的USP 4,663,071中的“TMS/TDS”助洗剂。适当的醚多羧酸盐还包括环状化合物,特别是脂环化合物,例如USP 3,923,679;3,835,163;4,158,635;4,120,874和4,102,903中所述的那些。
其它有用的助洗剂包括醚羟基多羧酸盐(etherhydroxypolycarboxylate),马来酸酐和乙烯或乙烯基甲基醚的共聚物,1,3,5-三羟基苯-2,4,6-三磺酸,以及羧甲基氧基琥珀酸,多乙酸的各种碱金属、铵和取代铵盐,如乙二胺四乙酸和和次氮基三乙酸,以及多羧酸盐如苯六甲酸、琥珀酸、氧联二琥珀酸、多马来酸、苯-1,3,5-三羧酸、羧甲基氧基琥珀酸,和它们的可溶的盐。
由于可从再生资源获得和可生物降解,柠檬酸盐助洗剂,例如柠檬酸和其可溶的盐(特别是钠盐)是特别重要的多羧酸盐助洗剂。在本发明组合物中氧联二琥珀酸盐也特别有用。
优选的多羧酸盐助洗剂是亚氨基二琥珀酸盐。其它适当的多羧酸盐公开于USP 4,144,226,Crutchfield等,1979年3月13日公布和USP 3,308,067,Diehl等,1967年3月7日公布;还可参见Diehl,USP 3,723,322。
其它适当任选的洗涤剂助洗剂包括乙二胺四乙酸盐(下文称为EDTA),柠檬酸,硝基乙酸(下文称为NTA),羧甲基琥珀酸钠,N-(2-羟基丙基)-亚氨基二乙酸钠,和N-二乙二醇-N,N-二乙酸(下文称为DIDA)。优选盐是相容的,并包括铵,钠,钾和/或烷基醇铵盐。如下文所述,烷醇铵盐是优选的。优选的洗涤剂助洗剂是柠檬酸/乙酸盐混合物和碳酸氢盐/碳酸盐的混合物,更优选碳酸氢盐/碳酸盐的混合物。
如有其它任选的表面活性剂助洗剂的话,其含量一般是0.01%左右至0.5%左右,更优选0.02%左右至0.3%左右,最优选0.02%左右至0.15%左右。在包括玻璃在内的硬表面的洗液中,这些附加助洗剂的含量应该小于0.2%左右。
螯合剂--本文中的硬表面清洗剂组合物还可以选择性地含有一种或多种过渡金属螯合剂。这些螯合剂可选自氨基羧酸盐,氨基磷酸盐,多官能取代的芳族螯合剂,和它们的混合物,所有这些如下文定义。不必受理论的束缚,可以确信这些物质的优点部分是由于它们通过形成可溶性螯合物,因而可从洗液中除去铁和镁离子的特殊能力。
用作选择性螯合剂的氨基羧酸盐包括乙二胺四乙酸,N-羟基乙基乙二胺三乙酸,次氮基三乙酸,乙二胺四丙酸,三亚乙基四胺六乙酸,二亚乙基三胺戊乙酸,和乙醇二甘氨酸,它们的碱金属、铵和取代的铵盐,及其混合物。
本文所用的优选的,可生物降解的螯合剂是乙二胺二琥珀酸盐(“EDDS”),特别是USP 4,704,233,1987年11月3日,Hartman和Perkins,中所述其[S,S]异构体。
如果使用,这些螯合剂通常占本发明洗涤剂组合物重量的0.1%左右至10%左右,更优选的,如果使用的话,可占本发明组合物重量的0.1%左右至3.0%左右的螯合剂。
选择性的溶剂--本发明组合物还可选择地含有一种或多种溶剂。溶剂是被广泛定义为在20-25℃时为液体的化合物,并且不认为是表面活性剂。区别特征之一是该溶剂是以不连续的实体存在的,而不是化合物的宽范围混合物。本发明的溶剂有大约1至大约35个碳原子,并含有不超过8个左右碳原子的连续的直链的、支链的或环状的烃基部分。适当的本发明溶剂的实例包括甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇、2-甲基吡咯烷酮、苄醇和吗啉的N-氧化物。在这些溶剂中优选的是甲醇和异丙醇。
在本发明优选的实施方案中,溶剂选自包括下面的一组化合物:一、二和三乙二醇的醚衍生物,丙二醇,丁二醇醚,及其混合物。优选溶剂的分子量小于大约350,更优选的为大约100至大约300,更为优选的是大约115至大约250。优选溶剂的实例包括例如一乙二醇正己基醚、一丙二醇正丁基醚和三丙二醇甲基醚。乙二醇和丙二醇醚可由Dow Chemical Compony买到,商品名称为“Dowand”,和从ArcoChemical Company买到,商品名称为“Arcosolv”。包括一和二乙二醇正己基醚在内的其它优选溶剂可在Union Carbide Company买到。按照本发明的优选溶剂是以硬表面清洗剂组合物重量的大约1%至大约10%,更优选约2%至约8%,最优选约3%至约7%的量存在。
香料--香料是硬表面清洗剂的重要组分,特别是用于使清洁的物品“再清新”的那些香料。它们的用量通常是0%至2%。
染料--选择地,可含有的染料的量为大约0.001%至0.5%。适当的染料的实例是Alizarine Light Blue B(C.I.63010),Carta BlueVP(C.I.24401),Acid Green 2G(C.I.42085),Astrogen GreenD(C.I.42040),Supraol Cyanine 7B(C.I.42675),Maxilon Blue3RL(C.I.Basic Blue 80),Drimarine Blue Z-RL(C.I.ReativeBlue 18),Alizarine Liqht Blue H-RL(C.I.Acid Blue 182),FD&CBlue NO.1和FD&C Green NO.3(参见KItko,USP 4,248,827,1981年2月3日公布,和USP 4,200,606,1980年4月9日公布,两篇文献均引用作为参考)C.I.,参见色彩指南“Color Index”。
聚合分散剂--在本发明组合物中优选可使用聚合分散剂的量是大约0.1%至大约7%(重量)。虽然本领域已知的其它分散剂也可以使用,但适当的聚合分散剂包括聚合的多羧酸盐、聚苯乙烯磺酸盐和聚乙二醇。不必受理论的限制,可以确信当聚合分散剂与其它助洗剂(包括低分子量的聚羧酸盐)一起使用时,通过抑制结晶生长,解脱颗粒污垢的胶溶作用和抗再沉积作用会提高洗涤剂助剂的总的效能。
聚合的多羧酸盐材料可通过适当不饱和羧酸单体,优选以其酸的形式聚合或共聚合来制备。可以聚合而形成适当的聚合多羧酸盐的不饱和单体酸包括丙烯酸、马来酸(或马来酸酐)、富马酸、衣康酸、阿康酸、中康酸、柠康酸和亚甲基丙二酸。适当的,以本发明的聚合多羧酸盐,或以不含羧酸盐基团的片段如乙烯基甲基醚、苯乙烯、乙烯等的单体片段形式存在是适合的,条件是这些片段不能构成重量的大约40%以上。
特别适当的聚合多羧酸盐可由丙烯酸衍生得到。本文使用的这种丙烯酸基的聚合物是聚丙烯酸的水溶性盐。酸形式的此聚合物的平均分子量的优选范围为大约2,000-10,000,更优选大约4,000-7,000,最优选大约4,000-5,000。这些丙烯酸聚合物的水溶性盐可包括例如碱金属、铵和取代的铵盐。此类水溶性聚合物是已知材料。这种聚丙烯酸盐在洗涤剂组合物中的应用已经公开,例如Diehl,USP3,308,067,1967年3月7日。
丙烯酸/马来酸基共聚物也可用作优选的分散剂/抗再沉积剂组分。这些材料包括丙烯酸和马来酸共聚物的水溶性盐。酸形式的此共聚物的平均分子量的优选范围为大约2000-100000,更优选大约5000-75000,最优选大约7000-65000。此共聚物中丙烯酸盐和马来酸盐片段之比通常为30∶1左右至1∶1左右,更优选大约10∶1至2∶1。这种丙烯酸/马来酸共聚物的水溶性盐包括例如碱金属、铵和取代的铵盐。这种丙烯酸/马来酸共聚物的水溶性盐是已知材料,描述在EP申请号66915,1982年12月5日公开,和EP193,360,1986年9月3日公开,它们还描述了含有羟基丙基丙烯酸盐的此类聚合物。其它有用的分散剂包括马来酸/丙烯酸/乙烯醇三元共聚物,这些材料也公开于EP193,360,例如45/45/10的马来酸/丙烯酸/乙烯醇三元共聚物。
其它可以包括的聚合物材料是聚乙二醇(PEG)。PEG具有分散剂的功能,并且可如粘土一样起到除去污垢-抗再沉积剂的作用。为此,典型的分子量范围是大约500至大约100,000,优选大约1,000至大约50,000,更优选大约1,500至10,000。
也可以使用聚天冬氨酸盐和聚谷氨酸盐分散剂。聚天冬氨酸盐分散剂优选的分子量(平均)为大约10,000。
去污表面活性剂--配方师可在本发明的硬表面清洗剂组合物中加入其它的去污表面活性剂。本文所用的表面活性剂的非限制性实例的典型用量是在大约0.1%至大约20%重量,包括常用的C11-C18烷基苯磺酸盐(“LAS”)和伯、支链的和无规的C10-C20烷基硫酸盐(“AS”),式CH3(CH2)x(CHOSO3O-M+)CH3和CH3(CH2)y(CHOSO3 -M+)CH2CH3的C10-C18仲(2,3)烷基硫酸盐,其中x和(y+1)是至少为7左右的整数,优选至少为9左右,M是水溶性的阳离子,特别是钠;不饱和的硫酸盐如油基硫酸盐、C10-C18烷基烷氧基硫酸盐(“AExS”;特别是EO 1-7乙氧基硫酸盐)、C10-C18烷基烷氧基羧酸盐(特别是EO1-5乙氧基羧酸盐)、C10-C18甘油醚、C10-C18烷基多苷和它们相应的硫酸多苷和C12-C18α-磺化的脂肪酸酯。如果需要,在整个组合物中还可以包括常规的非离子和两性的表面活性剂如包括所谓的窄峰分布的烷基乙氧基化物的C12-C18烷基乙氧基化物(“AE”)和C6-C12烷基酚烷氧基化物(特别是乙氧基化物和混合的乙氧基/丙氧基化物),C12-C18甜菜碱和磺基甜菜碱(“sultains”),C10-C18胺氧化物,等等。也可使用C10-C18N-烷基多羟基脂肪酸酰胺。典型的实例包括C12-C18N-烷基葡糖酰胺,参加WO9206154。其它糖衍生的表面活性剂包括N-烷氧基多羟基脂肪酸酰胺,如C10-C18N-(3-甲氧基丙基)葡糖酰胺。N-丙基至N-己基C12-C18葡糖酰胺可用于需要低起泡时。也可使用如C10-C20的常用皂。如果需要高起泡,可使用支链C10-C16皂。阴离子和非离子表面活性剂的混合物特别有用。其它常用的表面活性剂列于标准手册中。
本发明组合物的效能可通过稀释清洗,高强度清洗和稀释清洗的最后光亮结果来评价。下文逐步地详述了试验程序,以解释每个试验是如何进行的。注意稀释的清洗试验需要2天,因为试验过程需要在瓷砖老化约15-至约18小时后进行。为便于说明,稀释清洗和浓清洗试验在聚氨酯表面进行,高强度清洗在搪瓷上进行。此试验方法也应用于其它表面如陶瓷、聚氯乙烯、耐热塑胶薄板、拼花地板等。对于光亮的结果试验所选择的表面要能使各种制剂有最好的高亮度成膜和条纹的差异,即试验故意在光亮的黑色表面进行。
稀释清洗:方法:第一天制备样品--四块清洁的涂有PVC的聚尿烷地板砖(Color Tile Nafco ZL-810 No-Wax地板,切成3×12英寸的块),用特别柔软的擦布以异丙醇擦洗,使其干燥。如果使用陶瓷、聚氯乙烯或耐热塑胶薄板,可使用同样的程序。
在喷雾器罐中制备油脂颗粒污垢,该污垢由聚合或非聚合的油组成,颗粒物的重量比为40∶60。在用来将污垢分布于感兴趣的地板上的低沸点惰性溶剂中制成分散的污垢模型。在搅拌板上将该分散液搅拌30分钟左右,或者也可以用手震荡。将清洁的地板块称重,记录重量。将一地板块放在烟雾罩的后部,该烟雾罩的长边之一在框架上(长边平行于地板),这样,需要弄污的一面就面对着试验者。使喷雾器离板块12-18英寸,在地板块上均匀地喷上污垢(大约10-12次)。使溶剂蒸发(大约30秒),然后将地板块转180°,将涂有污垢的地板块放在烟雾罩中过夜。
稀释清洗试验:第二天--将涂有污垢的地板块称重,记录重量,测试水的硬度并记录。
稀释清洗试验:进行试验--制备试验溶液:1×产品→7.2g产品/用水加至总量600g,得到的浓度为1.2%产品,相应于1/64产品的稀释液;2×产品→3.6g产品/用水加至总量600g,得到的浓度为0.6%产品,相应于1/128产品的稀释液。
将涂有污垢的地板放在Gardner清洗器(GardnerWashability)中,在120°F用10ml试验溶液将湿海绵饱和,然后用手将尽可能多的试验溶液挤出,将海绵载体随海绵转向并将其放入海绵载体的容器里,这样海绵的饱和一面就可以与需要清洗的涂有污垢的地板接触。在Gardner清洗器中将涂有污垢的地板洗至达到100%清洁,取出地板,记录洗涤的次数,给出每块地板上污垢的量,洗涤的平均次数,和与对照组相比的指数。
高强度(即浓)清洗试验--将干净的搪瓷、陶瓷或聚尿烷地板砖(3×12英寸)用异丙醇清洁,并涂上2.5g厨房的污垢、混合油脂和颗粒物,将地板砖于150℃烘烤大约50分钟,并至少冷却1小时。
将涂有污垢搪瓷地板砖放在磨蚀机中,在海绵载体上放入一用水饱和的120°F海绵,并把5ml清洗剂的制剂浸入海绵中。把海绵载体放入其容器中,这样海绵的饱和一面就可以与要清洗的涂有污垢的地板接触。将涂有污垢的地板洗至达到100%清洁,记录所需要的洗涤次数,清洁每块地板所需的平均次数与高强度清洗剂组合物的效能有关。
最终光亮度结果的试验--洗涤地板,用蒸馏水漂洗,和用柔软的毛巾擦干。用异丙醇和柔软的毛巾擦拭地板以使它们没有任何斑点和条纹。将试验用水调至120°F和所需的硬度,记录硬度。用试验用水漂洗成膜/条纹的海绵,确认它不再含有任何残留的试验溶液。
制备试验溶液:1×产品→7.2g产品/用所需硬度的水加至总量600g,得到的浓度为1.2%产品,相应于1/64产品的稀释液;2×产品→3.6g产品/用所需硬度的水加至总量600g,得到的浓度为0.6%产品,相应于1/128产品的稀释液。
用大约15ml试验溶液将湿的成膜/条纹海绵饱和并使其平衡,将海绵放入海绵载体里。用海绵饱和的一面将试验溶液用于清洗,这样在地板上就可以均匀地用本发明产品清洗,每平方英尺表面大约用1g试验溶液。将海绵称重,记录重量和相对湿度。使地板块干燥2至3小时。记录相对于对照组的分级和指数。
在按照上述方法进行试验时,相对于标准硬表面清洗剂组合物而言,本发明的组合物显示出提高亮度和消除条纹的优点。

在配备有机械顶部搅拌器的10升不锈钢反应容器中加入2-乙基己胺(193.5g,1.5mol)、丙酮(4.0L)和水(2L),一边搅拌一边缓慢地加入马来酸酐(147.0g,1.5mol),同时加入足够量的1NNaOH以使反应体系pH值保持在7-9的范围内。所需NaOH的量典型的是1.5mol。继续搅拌10-15分钟。加入亚硫酸氢钠(171.6g,1.65mol),再搅拌反应10-15分钟。典型的溶液pH值是8.05。再搅拌溶液2小时,然后将容器的内容物倾入适宜的容器,并蒸发溶剂使之固化,得到360g白色固体(大约68%)。1H NMR(δ,ppm)0.8(m,6H),1.1(brs,8H),1.3(brs,1H),2.7(m,2H),3.0(m,2H),3.9(m,1H).
Claims (7)
1.一种具有改进光亮度和抗条纹优点的硬表面清洗剂组合物,该组合物包括:
a)至少0.1%重量,优选至少0.5%重量的下式磺基琥珀酰胺酸盐:其中R1和R2是氢或-SO3M2,条件是R1与R2不同;M和M2独立地是氢或成盐阳离子;
b)至少0.1%重量,优选至少0.5%重量的下式的非离子表面活性剂:
CH3(CH2)xCH2O(CH2CH2O)yH其中x是6至12,优选8至10y是3.5至10,优选4至7;和
c)平衡量载体和添加剂组分。
2.按照权利要求1的组合物,其中的添加剂组分选自缓冲溶液,助洗剂,螯合剂,填充盐,分散剂,酶,酶增效剂,香料,增稠剂,粘土,溶剂,去污的表面活性剂,和它们的混合物。
3.按照权利要求1或2的组合物,其中的M和M2独立地是氢,或是选自下述的水溶性阳离子:钠、钾、钙、镁、具有下式的四烷基胺:其中R3、R4、R5和R6各自独立地是氢,C1-C22亚烷基,C4-C22支链亚烷基,C1-C6烷醇,C1-C22亚链烯基,C4-C22支链亚链烯基,和其混合物;优选的M和M2是氢、钠和四烷基胺,其中的R3是氢,R4、R5和R6各自独立地是氢或C1-C6烷醇,更优选R4、R5和R6各自独立地是C2烷醇,和其混合物;更优选M和M2是氢,钠,和其混合物。
6.清洗硬表面的方法,该方法包括用权利要求1-3任意一项的组合物与需要清洗的硬表面接触的步骤。
7.一种清洗表面的方法,该方法包括需要清洗的硬表面与权利要求4或5的化合物接触的步骤。
