Hardware fittings refer to machine parts or components made of hardware and some small hardware products, wherein the surfaces of the hardware parts or components are generally polished to ensure the quality of the products, however, when polishing some metal rods with steps, the outer surfaces of the workpieces are usually polished firstly, and then the metal rods with steps are taken down to another device to polish the step surfaces of the workpieces after polishing, so that the operation process is required to be polished for the second time, which is quite cumbersome and inconvenient.

Two guide wheels 32 are symmetrically arranged at the opposite ends of the large carrier ring 7 and the small carrier ring 9, the guide wheels 32 play a role in guiding, two first pushing frames 8 are symmetrically and fixedly arranged at one end of the adjusting frame 14, two second pushing frames 28 are symmetrically and fixedly arranged at the other end of the adjusting frame 14, the first pushing frames 8 and the second pushing frames 28 are symmetrically arranged, the second pushing frames 28 are attached to the guide wheels 32 on the small carrier ring 9, the first pushing frames 8 are attached to the guide wheels 32 on the large carrier ring 7, the second pushing frames 28 are obliquely arranged with the lower end parts of the first pushing frames 8, the first pushing frames 8 play a role in pushing the large carrier ring 7, and the second pushing frames 28 play a role in pushing the small carrier ring 9.

During polishing, the second stud 35 is loosened according to the position of the step surface on the workpiece 36, so that the fixed adjusting carrier 15 is moved, the first polishing head 16 is driven to move so as to adapt to the position of the second stud, meanwhile, the first stud 30 is loosened according to the length of the large-diameter section and the length of the small-diameter section of the workpiece 36, the adjusting sleeve 29 can slide on the adjusting frame 14 so as to adjust the total length between the two second polishing heads 33 on the same side so as to adapt to the length of the adjusting sleeve, then the workpiece 36 is placed between the small-load ring 9 and the large-load ring 7, the second limiting lug 26 and the first limiting lug 17 are attached to the edges of the two ends of the workpiece 36, the small-diameter end of the workpiece 36 is attached to the top disc 25, the first servo motor 5 works to drive the threaded rod 2 to rotate, the pushing table 4 is laterally moved, and the chuck 18 is laterally moved so as to tightly prop against the large-diameter end of the workpiece 36, to clamp and fix the workpiece 36, then the servo pushing cylinder 12 works to drive the second polishing head 33 on the adjusting frame 14 to move downwards, meanwhile, the second pushing frame 28 and the first pushing frame 8 are driven to move downwards synchronously, at this time, the guide wheel 32 is attached to the second pushing frame 28 and the first pushing frame 8 to roll, and further the small carrier ring 9 and the large carrier ring 7 are driven to move towards the opposite direction, so that the second limiting lug 26 and the first limiting lug 17 can be separated from the workpiece 36, the outer surface of the workpiece 36 can be fully exposed, and the large carrier ring 7 synchronously drives the first polishing head 16 to move sideways when moving sideways so as to be close to the step surface of the workpiece 36, then the adjusting frame 14 continues to move downwards, the second polishing head 33 and the first polishing head 16 are attached to the outer surface and the step surface of the workpiece 36, and simultaneously, the second servo motor 6 works to drive the workpiece 36 to rotate, to simultaneously polish the outer surface and the step surface of the workpiece 36.
