本发明涉及用于使伤口愈合的设备,并且更具体地涉及防止部分厚度烧伤(partial-thickness burn)的发展。
当一个人被烧伤时,伤口区域的真皮和表皮层就会受到损伤。隔离受伤部位是一项重要的措施,这样可以减少体液的流失和微生物的侵入。在部分厚度烧伤的情况下,邻近伤口的表皮和皮下组织将向外迁移生长,并最终长成新的组织覆盖在伤口上方。目前已有一系列伤口罩,这些伤口罩用于加速伤口的愈合,并使得受损组织的自然复原过程能够顺利进行。
因烧伤而引起的伤口愈后状况取决于受伤的严重程度,特别是取决于烧伤的深度。一般来说,部分厚度烧伤比深度烧伤愈合得更快,并且并发症更少。很显然,如果受到烧伤之后没有迅速得到治疗,则部分厚度烧伤情况常会恶化,并且会转化为更严重、更深度的烧伤。

根据本发明的一个方面,提供用于促进伤口愈合的设备,该设备包括一个用于容纳身体受伤部位的封套,所述封套包括一个基本上气密的罩和一个位于该罩内的多孔垫,所述罩适于与伤口表面接触,以及用于将封套内部与一个负压源相连的连接装置。

在一个实施例中,本发明的设备的封套包括手套、套袖或短袜。例如,该设备可包括一个由柔性塑料或橡胶泡沫制成的手套,该手套包含在一个气孔较少的罩内。柔性塑料泡沫通常是具有互联单元的聚氨基甲酸乙酯或聚乙烯醇(pva)泡沫,或者这些泡沫的组合,例如层压制件。在这种层压制件中,pva层可以与伤口相邻。

图1、2和3所示的设备(10)用于治疗手部伤口,该设备包括一个多孔垫,该多孔垫结合于气孔较少的罩(12)内,具有一个下底座(22)、一个中段(24)和一个上段(26)。多孔垫的形式为一个手套或连指手套,并且可以通过将上段(26)固定到底座(22)上同时将中段(24)保持在由此形成的空腔内而制成。多孔垫一般为网状塑料泡沫,并且可以通过将分开的部段胶接或焊接在一起而制成。当将手放置在垫内时,手保持在其位置上,此时手指被手指分离器(25)和V型切槽(14)张开。如图2和3所示,泡沫的形状使得可以为拇指提供单独的支撑隔室(27),以便有助于在治愈时达到手指和拇指的最佳位置。但是,这不是必需的。该垫最好由如PCT申请WO96/05873中所述的聚氨基甲酸乙酯的网状泡沫、聚乙烯醇泡沫或它们的组合物制成。

采用本发明的设备进行治疗的另一有益作用在于,在治疗过程中,手被牢固地保持在半封闭位置,该位置为促进愈合的最佳位置。通过采用刚性或半刚性的夹板,例如成形或模制为所需形状的塑料可进一步促进这方面的作用,在施加抽吸期间或施加抽吸之后,缩瘪的外皮束在夹板上,因此在解除抽吸之后仍可保持理想的愈合位置。
如我们的上述PCT申请中所述,抽吸泵最好由包括一个用于监测受伤部位压力的压力传感器的控制装置来控制。一个定时装置也可以与泵上相联,以便根据需要以选定的时间间隔提供开/关操作。该设备也可包括一个位于多孔垫和泵之间的罐,以便收集伤口的流出物。泵一般为隔膜泵,但也可采用其它类型的泵和相当的组件如真空瓶来代替。该设备还可以与如英国专利申请第2,342,584号中所述的壁式抽吸源一起使用。
前面所用的术语和措辞仅作为描述用语,而不具限制性。尽管本发明主要涉及部分厚度烧伤,但可以理解,本发明可用于裂开伤口及受压伤痛的可行治疗。
Claims (6)
1.用于促进伤口愈合的设备,其包括一用于容纳身体受伤部位的封套,所述封套包括一气密的罩和一位于该罩内的多孔垫,所述垫适于与伤口表面接触,以及用于将封套内部与一负压源连接起来的连接装置,其中,该封套包括手套、短袜或套袖。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其计划用于治疗手部伤口,并且包括由柔性塑料或橡胶泡沫制成的手套以及不透气的片材的外罩。
3.如权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于,该连接装置包括一与该罩内的泡沫相连通的管。
4.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,该罩具有一可重新密封的开口,该开口允许时时查看伤口。
5.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,该所述负压源为一抽吸泵。
6.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的设备,其包括一用于收集伤口流出物的罐。
