Claims (10)

1. A connector for connecting a wiper blade assembly to a wiper arm, the wiper arm having a distal end adapted to receive a connector for engaging the connector, the connector comprising:
a front side wall;
the front hooks are arranged on two sides of the connector close to the front side wall; and
rear hooks which are far away from the front side wall and are arranged at two sides of the connector,
wherein the connector has a front and a rear opposing first end and second end, wherein:
the first tail end is positioned at the rear end of the connector, and a clamping groove which is open backwards is arranged at the first tail end;
the second end is positioned at the front end of the connector, the second end is provided with a longitudinal limiting part and a transverse limiting part,
the connector is configured and adapted to provide the rear hook to advance into the catch groove from the rear direction in a posture in which the front hook is higher than the connector when the wiper arm is mounted, and to allow the rear hook to pivot downward of the front hook in the catch groove, the longitudinal stopper portion restricting rearward displacement of the wiper arm by the front side wall, and the lateral stopper portion restricting upward displacement of the wiper arm by the front hook after the front hook is assembled downward to the connector.
2. The connector of claim 1, wherein the card slot is disposed near a bottom of the first end at the first end, the card slot is open to a side of the first end, and the card slot is a through slot at the first end communicating two opposing sides of the first end.
3. The connector of claim 1, wherein the card slot is disposed at the first end near a bottom of the first end, the card slot being open to a side of the first end, and the card slot includes a first card slot and a second card slot, the first card slot and the second card slot being symmetrically located on both sides of the first end, respectively.

An automotive windshield wiper comprising a wiper arm, a wiper blade assembly, and a connector as recited in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 6, the wiper blade assembly having a wiper blade adapter secured thereto, the connector assembling the wiper arm and the wiper blade assembly together through the wiper blade adapter, wherein,

The wiper according to claim 7, wherein the connector includes a body and a shank portion, the shank portion being located at a front end of the body and constituting the second tip, the catching groove being located at the body, and the longitudinal stopper portion and the lateral stopper portion being located at the shank portion, the shank portion being integrally connected to the front end of the body through an elastic neck portion, so that the engagement of the lateral stopper portion with the front hook can be released by operating the shank portion with respect to the body.
10. A method of mounting a wiper arm for an automotive windscreen wiper device, said method comprising the step of mounting a wiper arm to a connector as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 to 6, said step comprising:
providing the rear hook to enter the card slot from the rear direction forward in a posture in which the front hook is higher than the connector; and
and the rear hook is pivoted downwards in the clamping groove by the front hook until the longitudinal limiting part limits the backward displacement of the scraping arm and the transverse limiting part limits the upward displacement of the scraping arm.
