Technical Field
The invention relates to a protective cover, in particular to an engine cylinder cover protective cover.
Background
For satisfying engine lightweight design requirement, the cylinder cap guard shield is mostly the injection molding, inside integrated oil-gas separation device to arrange the machine oil filler in suitable position, filling machine oil when being convenient for auto repair maintenance. Normally, the cylinder cover protective cover is assembled with an oil filler oil port cover. When the engine oil needs to be filled, the engine oil can be filled by unscrewing the engine oil filling port cover. To facilitate oil filling, the oil fill port is typically in direct communication with the crankcase. As shown in fig. 1, in some main engine plants, in order to prevent foreign matter from falling into the crankcase 200 through the oil filling port 100, a baffle 300 is locally disposed at the position of the oil filling port 100. However, to ensure the smoothness of the oil charge 100, the baffle 300 does not completely close the oil charge port 100. Such a structure may cause an oil emulsification problem.
When the engine is running, the high-pressure combustible mixture and burned gas in the combustion chamber leak into the crankcase 200 through a gap between the piston group and the cylinder to a greater or lesser extent, causing blow-by. The blow-by gas is composed of unburned hydrocarbon, steam, exhaust gas, and the like. Because the cylinder cover shield 400 is an injection molding part, heat transfer is slow, and the temperature of the 100 parts of the engine oil filling opening rises slowly. When the vehicle runs for a short distance, because the temperature of the engine oil filling port 100 of the cylinder cover shield 400 is low, water vapor in blow-by gas is easy to condense and form water when meeting the engine oil filling port 100. Along with the operation of the engine, the engine oil splashes to the engine oil filling port 100 by the rotation of the timing chain or the camshaft, and is continuously attached and accumulated. The oil and the condensed water are fully mixed to form an oil emulsion.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide an engine cylinder cover shield to solve the defects in the prior art, which can ensure that an engine oil filling port is completely sealed and can effectively solve the problem of engine oil emulsification.
The invention provides an engine cylinder cover protective cover which comprises a cylinder cover protective cover and an engine oil filling port cover, wherein an engine oil filling port is formed in the cylinder cover protective cover, a baffle assembly is installed in the engine oil filling port and is in sliding fit with the inner wall of the engine oil filling port, the baffle assembly can move along the axial direction of the engine oil filling port, the engine oil filling port cover is in threaded connection with the baffle assembly, an engine oil filling channel is formed in the baffle assembly, and the engine oil filling port cover completely blocks the engine oil filling channel after the engine oil filling port cover is installed in place.

By means of the structural design, the engine oil can not splash and adhere to and gather in the engine oil filling port 11 along with the rotation of the timing chain or the camshaft in the operation process of the engine, water vapor can not be condensed in the engine oil filling port 11, and meanwhile, the oil filling at the time of maintenance of the whole vehicle is not influenced, so that the problem of engine oil emulsification at the engine oil filling port of the cylinder cover shield is solved.
In a specific embodiment, the baffle plate assembly 5 includes a seal plate 55 and a sleeve portion 56, the sleeve portion 56 is of a cylindrical structure, the sleeve portion 56 is slidably fitted with the oil filling port 11, an internal thread 53 is formed on the sleeve portion 56, the seal plate 55 is fixedly arranged at the bottom of the sleeve portion 56, and the seal plate 55 and the sleeve portion 56 are coaxially arranged. A sealing groove is arranged around an engine oil filling port 11 on the body of the cylinder cover shield 1, and a sealing ring 4 is assembled in the sealing groove.
It is also conceivable to provide a labyrinth rib instead of the seal ring 4, in order to seal the oil filling opening 11 after screwing the oil filling opening cover 2, and to prevent oil droplets and water vapor splashed in the crankcase from entering the area of the oil filling opening 11.

Further, a plurality of oil filling passages 54 are formed at one end of the sleeve portion 56 connected to the seal plate 55, and the oil filling passages 54 are arranged at equal intervals along the circumference of the sleeve portion 56. A plurality of first strip-shaped grooves 12 and a plurality of second strip-shaped grooves 13 are formed in the inner wall of the engine oil filling port 11, the first strip-shaped grooves 12 and the second strip-shaped grooves 13 are arranged along the axial direction of the engine oil filling port 11, the lower ends of the first strip-shaped grooves 12 are communicated with the bottom of the cylinder head shield 1, the second strip-shaped grooves 13 extend from the top of the inner wall of the engine oil filling port 11 to the middle lower part of the inner wall of the engine oil filling port 11, limiting ribs 51 matched with the first strip-shaped grooves 12 are formed in the outer wall of the sleeve portion 56, and limiting clamps 52 matched with the second strip-shaped grooves 13 are formed in the upper part of the sleeve portion 56.
The first strip-shaped groove 12 is mainly used for being matched with a limiting rib 51 on the sleeve portion 56 to prevent the sleeve portion 56 from rotating along with the screwing process of the oil filler cover 2; the provision of the second strip-like groove 13 prevents the boss portion 56 from being detached from the head shroud 1.

At this time, the engine oil splashed during the operation of the engine cannot enter the engine oil filling port 11 because the sealing plate 55 seals the engine oil filling port 11, so that the problem of engine oil emulsification is solved, and meanwhile, the dual sealing of the engine oil filling port 11 is realized, and the reliability is improved. After the engine oil filling port cover 2 is unscrewed, the baffle plate assembly 5 moves downwards in the engine oil filling port 11 due to the action of self gravity and the like, the limiting clamp 52 is positioned at the bottom of the second strip-shaped groove 13 at the moment, the engine oil filling channel 54 is completely opened, and the filled engine oil sequentially passes through the engine oil filling port 11 and the engine oil filling channel 54 and finally flows into the crankcase.
