In addition, the pine sawdust is pretreated by utilizing the fruit peel and the ginger, and the added tea leaves have faint scent of tea leaves, so that the unique wood smell of the cat litter made of the pine sawdust can be effectively improved, and the conflict psychology of a cat on the cat litter is eliminated; the coptis chinensis is introduced, and the broad-spectrum antibacterial property of the coptis chinensis is utilized, so that the defect that the wood chip cat litter is easy to mildew is overcome; when the cat litter is eaten by cats by mistake, most of the raw materials can be digested and absorbed through the intestines and stomach of the cat, and the rest fiber part can be discharged through the intestinal tract system, so that the cat litter is harmless to the bodies of the cats.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of cat litter preparation, and particularly relates to environment-friendly agglomerated cat litter and a production process thereof.
Background
Cat litter is a material used by cats kept by their owners to bury manure and urine. With the continuous development of cat litter preparation technology, numerous types of cat litters appear, such as bentonite cat litter, crystal cat litter, zeolite cat litter, paper-wood-chip cat litter, tofu cat litter, and the like. The cat litter can be divided into inorganic cat litter and organic cat litter according to the chemical property division of raw materials, wherein the bentonite cat litter, the crystal cat litter and the zeolite cat litter are all inorganic cat litter, and the wood chip cat litter, the paper chip cat litter and the bean curd cat litter are all organic cat litter. Although each cat litter has its own advantages and disadvantages, inorganic cat litters generally cause environmental pollution due to their difficult disposal after use, and with the increasing awareness of environmental protection, organic cat litters are recognized by mainstream markets due to their environmental protection characteristics, among which environment-friendly cat litters are developed most rapidly, and their main raw materials are various kinds of wood chips, but cat litters prepared from wood chips have the following disadvantages due to their own characteristics: compared with inorganic cat litters such as bentonite cat litter, crystal cat litter, zeolite cat litter and the like, the cat litter has low water absorption and agglomeration performance and needs to be frequently replaced; secondly, the utility model is easy to be affected with damp, mildewed and vermin; thirdly, cats refuse to use because they do not like the taste of wood fiber. Although various wood flour cat litters added with various preservatives and fragrances are adopted in the market, the introduced chemical agents can influence the health of cats, and can generate subsequent chemical pollution, so that the problem cannot be fundamentally solved.
Accordingly, the present invention provides an environmentally friendly agglomerated litter and process for making the same that solves the above-mentioned problems.

Comparative example 4, a commercially available common wood flour cat litter.
The cat litter obtained in the above examples 1 to 4 and comparative examples 1 to 4 were subjected to sensory and physicochemical property tests, wherein the odor test was carried out by putting the cat litter in an odorless open environment and the tester smells the odor with the nose; color test, namely observing the result by naked eyes 20cm away from the test sample under good natural light; and (3) testing the water absorption speed: loading 10cm cat litter into a basin-shaped vessel, sucking 20ml of physiological saline with the temperature of 38 ℃ by using a plastic tube, transferring water in a needle tube into an acid measuring tube about 3cm away from a sample, discharging the physiological saline in a burette at the maximum amount, starting timing after all the physiological saline is discharged, stopping timing when the water in the sample is completely absorbed and is in a conglomerate shape, and recording the required time; a step of aggregate weight test, which is to put a test sample with the same mass into a cat litter tray, drip the test sample 3cm away from the test sample by 20mL of physiological saline at 38 ℃, and test the mass of the test sample after standing for 20 s; the strength of the conglomeration is that after the conglomerated test sample is propagated for 8 hours, the test sample falls from a height of 1.2m to the ground to obtain a result; the results of the tests are shown in Table 1.
Table 1 cat litter sensory test results obtained from examples 1-4
The results of comparing the effects of using the litters obtained in examples 1 to 4 and comparative examples 1 to 4 were shown in Table 2, in which the litters were placed in litter boxes and the same cat was allowed to use for 20 days each, during which the cat was observed to be used and the litter was mildewed.
Table 2 comparative cat litter usage of examples 1-4 and comparative examples 1-4
