Abstract
本发明公开了一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,涂层配料,将配料涂覆在坩埚内壁上,在压机上将涂层与坩埚一起压制成型;然后烘干、焙烧,随炉冷却至100℃以下取出待用,在碱土氧化物坩埚的内壁上形成稀土氟氧化物涂层,稀土氟氧化物涂层的密度为3‑8g/cm3,孔隙度为5‑20%,碱土氧化物坩埚中的碱土氧化物选用氧化镁、氧化铝或者氧化钙。本发明能够避免在冶炼稀土金属及其合金时带入杂质。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种金属及合金冶炼技术,具体说,涉及一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法。
背景技术
多年的研究表明,稀土金属及合金中杂质含量直接影响到应用合金的性能,如稀土钢生产中普遍采用氧化镁坩埚,根据文献《真空感应熔炼碳脱氧研究》(钢铁,2003年第38卷第6期,P275-278)研究表明,利用氧化镁坩埚冶炼稀土铁合金过程中会增加合金中氧含量,影响其加入到钢中的稀土收率及起到的效果。另外利用氧化镁、氧化铝或氧化钙坩埚冶炼稀土金属及合金过程中,稀土金属会与坩埚发生反应,给合金增加了杂质。可见,仅仅通过原料的精选来达到控制杂质含量的目的显然是不够的,冶炼过程中坩埚的选用也是一个重要的环节。
氧化钙是公认的稳定性较高的材质,普遍用于冶炼高温合金。专利号:00110150.1的专利文献公开了一种带有氧化钙涂层的氧化镁坩埚及制备方法,在MgO坩埚内壁上压制有一层CaO,厚度为5-20mm,系选用分析纯的CaO、Al2O3、CaCl2、C2H5OH,按重量比100:0.8~1.2:0.4~0.6:53~57混合均匀,在压力机上与坩埚一起压实成CaO涂层制备而成。
在文献《钢与铁》(1975.9号P19-33)中公开了一种“用氧化钙坩埚对铁与铁合金液用钙脱氧与用铝脱硫”,以一级试剂氧化钙,粉碎至20目,以5%醋酸+甲醇为粘结剂制成涂层,涂在氧化铝坩埚内侧,使其坚固后,将坩埚焙烧后迅速使用。但是这种涂层密度低、孔隙度大,不适合大规模工业生产。
但是上述使用的这种坩埚在冶炼稀土金属及其合金还是会带入杂质,而且氧化钙吸水性极强,极易粉化,需要真空或高温保存。
发明内容
本发明所解决的技术问题是提供一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,能够避免在冶炼稀土金属及其合金时带入杂质。
技术方案如下:
一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚,在碱土氧化物坩埚内壁上设置有稀土氟氧化物涂层,稀土氟氧化物涂层的密度为3-8g/cm3,孔隙度为5-20%。
进一步,稀土氟氧化物涂层的密度为3-7.5g/cm3或者6-8g/cm3。
进一步,碱土氧化物坩埚中的碱土氧化物选用氧化镁、氧化铝或者氧化钙。
一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,包括:
涂层配料,将稀土氧化物、稀土氟化物、聚乙烯醇按照重量比100:0.2-50:5-15混合均匀;稀土氧化物与稀土氟化物中使用相同的稀土元素;
将配料涂覆在坩埚内壁上,在压机上将涂层与坩埚一起压制成型,然后烘干、焙烧,在碱土氧化物坩埚的内壁上形成稀土氟氧化物涂层。
优选的,稀土氧化物选用氧化镧、氧化铈、氧化镨、氧化钕、氧化镧铈、氧化镨钕、氧化钐、氧化铕、氧化钆、氧化铽、氧化镝、氧化钬、氧化饵、氧化铥、氧化镱、氧化镥、氧化钇、氧化钪中的一种。
优选的,稀土氟化物选用氟化镧、氟化铈、氟化镨、氟化钕、氟化钐、氟化铕、氟化钆、氟化铽、氟化镝、氟化钬、氟化饵、氟化铥、氟化镱、氟化镥、氟化钇或者氟化钪中的一种。
优选的,在压机上将涂层与坩埚的压力控制在270-500Mpa。
优选的,涂层压制好后,放入干燥窑内自然干燥72-120小时,然后按照以下工艺焙烧:室温下升温到150℃保温2-3小时;升温到1000℃下保温5-6小时;升温到1350-1400℃保温10-11小时;随炉冷却至100℃以下取出待用。
优选的,室温下升温的升温速度为每分钟不超过5℃,升温到1000℃的升温速度为每分钟不超过10℃,升温到1350-1400℃的升温速度为每分钟不超过10℃。
本发明技术效果包括:
本发明在碱土氧化物坩埚内壁上设置有稀土氟氧化物涂层,能够避免在冶炼稀土金属及其合金时带入杂质,适用于冶炼稀土金属及其合金,其工艺简单,成本低廉。
(1)稀土氟氧化物涂层密度高,气孔率低,抗金属或合金液体侵蚀能力强;
(2)采用稀土氧化物作为涂层,冶炼稀土金属或稀土合金过程中,由于与金属液是同名材质,所以不会带入杂质,尤其是氧含量低。稀土金属或稀土合金氧含量低能够避免稀土钢冶炼过程中钢包水口的堵塞。
具体实施方式
以下描述充分地示出本发明的具体实施方案,以使本领域的技术人员能够实践和再现。
带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚,在碱土氧化物坩埚内壁上设置有稀土氟氧化物涂层。碱土氧化物坩埚中的碱土氧化物选用氧化镁、氧化铝或者氧化钙。其参数如下:涂层的密度:3-8g/cm3;孔隙度5-20%。优选3-7.5g/cm3或者6-8g/cm3。
带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,包括:
步骤1:涂层配料,将稀土氧化物、稀土氟化物、聚乙烯醇按照重量比100:0.2-50:5-15混合均匀;
稀土氧化物与稀土氟化物的稀土元素相对应。即稀土氧化物与稀土氟化物中使用相同的稀土元素。
稀土氟化物选用氟化镧、氟化铈、氟化镨、氟化钕、氟化钐、氟化铕、氟化钆、氟化铽、氟化镝、氟化钬、氟化饵、氟化铥、氟化镱、氟化镥、氟化钇或者氟化钪中的一种。
稀土氧化物选用氧化镧、氧化铈、氧化镨、氧化钕、氧化镧铈、氧化镨钕、混合稀土金属氧化物、氧化钐、氧化铕、氧化钆、氧化铽、氧化镝、氧化钬、氧化饵、氧化铥、氧化镱、氧化镥、氧化钇、氧化钪中的一种。
步骤2:将配料涂覆在坩埚内壁上,在压机上将涂层与坩埚一起压制(压力控制在270-500Mpa)成型,然后烘干、焙烧,在碱土氧化物坩埚的内壁上形成稀土氟氧化物涂层。
涂层压制好后,放入干燥窑内自然干燥72-120小时,然后按照以下工艺焙烧:
(1)、室温下升温(升温速度每分钟不超过5℃)到150℃保温2-3小时;
该段升温主要是确保物料内水分充分蒸发。
(2)、升温(升温速度每分钟不超过10℃)到1000℃下保温5-6小时;
该段升温主要是保证物料内低熔点、低沸点杂质的充分逸出,同时不能过快升温,主要控制低沸点的杂质逸出速度要慢,确保坩埚完好,不破裂。
(3)、升温到1350-1400℃(升温速度每分钟不超过10℃)保温10-11小时;
该段升温主要控制速度要慢,确保坩埚完好,不破裂,同时能够保证混合稀土氟氧化物涂层密度高,气孔率低,抗金属或合金液体侵蚀能力强。高温段让氧化稀土和氟化稀土充分反应,形成高熔点的稀土氟氧化物,并与坩埚基体有很好的结合力。
(4)、随炉冷却至100℃以下取出待用,在碱土氧化物坩埚的内壁上形成稀土氟氧化物涂层。
稀土氧化物、稀土氟化物、聚乙烯醇经高温形成的稀土氟氧化物涂层具有高熔点(熔点2000-3000℃)、抗腐蚀的特性。
以下用实例对本发明使用效果作进一步说明。
实施例1
氧化镧1500g,氟化镧3g,聚乙烯醇80g,混合均匀后在10kg氧化镁坩埚内压制成涂层,经过前述工艺处理烘干焙烧后,在10kg中频感应炉内进行镧铁合金(La 10wt%)熔炼,取得较佳效果,其脱氧效果如下:

工业生产中采用纯氧化镁坩埚制备镧铁合金中氧为100ppm左右,现为20ppm左右,脱氧效果明显。
实施例2
氧化铈1500g,氟化铈450g,聚乙烯醇200g,混合均匀在10kg氧化铝坩埚内压制成涂层,经过前述工艺处理烘干焙烧后,在10kg中频感应炉内进行铈铁合金(Ce 20wt%)熔炼,取得较佳效果,其脱氧效果如下:

工业生产中采用纯氧化铝坩埚制备铈铁合金中氧为50ppm左右,现为12ppm左右,脱氧效果明显。
实施例3
氧化钇1500g,氟化铈10g,聚乙烯醇150g,混合均匀在10kg氧化钙坩埚内压制成涂层,经过前述工艺处理烘干焙烧后,在10kg中频感应炉内进行钇铁合金(Y10wt%)熔炼,取得较佳效果,其脱氧效果如下:

工业生产中采用纯氧化钙坩埚制备镧铁合金中氧为40-50ppm左右,现为<10ppm,脱氧效果明显。
实施例4
氧化镧铈1500g,氟化铈400g,聚乙烯醇100g,混合均匀在10kg氧化镁坩埚内压制成涂层,经过前述工艺处理烘干焙烧后,在10kg中频感应炉内进行镧铈铁合金(镧铈含量25wt%)熔炼,取得较佳效果,其脱氧效果如下:

工业生产中采用纯氧化镁坩埚制备镧铈铁合金中氧为100ppm左右,现为10ppm左右,脱氧效果明显。
实施例5
氧化钕1500g,氟化钕10g,聚乙烯醇160g,混合均匀在10kg氧化镁坩埚内压制成涂层,经过前述工艺处理烘干焙烧后,在10kg中频感应炉内进行钕铁合金(钕含量10wt%)熔炼,取得较佳效果,其脱氧效果如下:
工业生产中采用纯氧化镁坩埚制备钕铁合金中氧为50-80ppm左右,现为<20ppm,脱氧效果明显。
比较例
同样对于上述配比,如果不按照前述本发明烘干焙烧工艺进行,例如按照以下工艺进行:室温→150℃,保温1小时→1000℃,保温3小时→1350-1400℃,保温2小时后随炉冷却至100℃以下,取出待用,则涂层会发生脱落及开裂现象而不能使用。

Claims (3)
1.一种带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,包括:
涂层配料,将稀土氧化物、稀土氟化物、聚乙烯醇按照重量比100:0.2-50:5-15混合均匀;稀土氧化物与稀土氟化物中使用相同的稀土元素;
将配料涂覆在坩埚内壁上,在压机上将涂层与坩埚一起压制成型,在压机上将涂层与坩埚的压力控制在270-500MPa ;然后烘干、焙烧,涂层压制好后,放入干燥窑内自然干燥72-120小时,然后按照以下工艺焙烧:室温下升温到150℃保温2-3小时,室温下升温的升温速度为每分钟不超过5℃;升温到1000℃下保温5-6小时,升温到1000℃的升温速度为每分钟不超过10℃;升温到1350-1400℃保温10-11小时,升温到1350-1400℃的升温速度为每分钟不超过10℃;随炉冷却至100℃以下取出待用,在碱土氧化物坩埚的内壁上形成稀土氟氧化物涂层,稀土氟氧化物涂层的密度为3-8g/cm3,孔隙度为5-20%,碱土氧化物坩埚中的碱土氧化物选用氧化镁、氧化铝或者氧化钙。
2.如权利要求1所述带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,其特征在于,稀土氧化物选用氧化镧、氧化铈、氧化镨、氧化钕、氧化镧铈、氧化镨钕、氧化钐、氧化铕、氧化钆、氧化铽、氧化镝、氧化钬、氧化饵、氧化铥、氧化镱、氧化镥、氧化钇、氧化钪中的一种。
3.如权利要求1所述带有稀土氟氧化物涂层的碱土氧化物坩埚的制备方法,其特征在于,稀土氟化物选用氟化镧、氟化铈、氟化镨、氟化钕、氟化钐、氟化铕、氟化钆、氟化铽、氟化镝、氟化钬、氟化饵、氟化铥、氟化镱、氟化镥、氟化钇或者氟化钪中的一种。
