Background
In a conventional situation, except for a part of high-end automobiles, side-protecting passenger airbags cannot be arranged on two sides of a rear-row seat, and far-end protecting airbags are rarely arranged. In this case, when the automobile is involved in a side collision, the head of the rear passenger on the collision side collides against the side wall of the automobile due to inertia, and the side deformation of the automobile due to the collision also presses the passenger on the collision side, so that the belly, chest and shoulder of the passenger are injured; the head of the non-collision side passenger moves towards the collision side due to inertia, and the head bends relative to the neck due to no side support and impacts the shoulder of the collision side passenger, so that the head and the neck of the non-collision side passenger are injured, and the non-collision side shoulder of the collision side passenger is injured. For example, there is disclosed in chinese patent document "a curtain airbag", publication No. CN110329203A, which has at least one thickened air chamber formed in front of a conventional air chamber located at the foremost end, and which, after triggered inflation and deployment, has at least one thickened air chamber in close contact with a driver airbag after inflation and deployment and forms a protective overlap region for preventing the head of the driver from hitting an a-pillar garnish of an automobile.
The safety air bag of the patent only has a one-time buffer mechanism, and the curtain type safety air bag is arranged at the edges of two sides of the roof of the automobile, and the safety air bag expands inwards when being impacted, so that passengers are injured; and if the two sides of the automobile roof are damaged in advance when being impacted, the safety air bag can lose efficacy.

The invention aims to overcome the defects that the safety air bag in the prior art only has a one-time buffer mechanism and is provided with a rear row side safety air bag; curtain formula air bag receives air bag inwards inflation when striking, causes the injury to the passenger, if damage in advance when the car roof both sides strike, air bag will lose efficacy's problem, provides a back row side multiple buffering air bag, has effectively protected the passenger safety of collision side to with the better protection passenger of multiple buffering, and this kind of air bag is more stable, is difficult for damaging in advance.

The collision sensor is used for detecting whether a vehicle collides, the passenger detection sensor is used for detecting whether a passenger is on the seat or not, a signal is transmitted to the air bag controller, and the air bag controller determines whether the safety air bag needs to be ejected or not. The high-pressure cylinder in the safety air bag is used for collecting gas extruded in the safety air bag during collision, and the high-pressure cylinder is fixed in the safety air bag. The outer chamber is used for providing space for the expansion of the air bag gas, and the gas in the outer chamber is extruded to be the first heavy buffer. The air in the outer cavity is extruded, the air pressure in the outer cavity is increased, and the air is pressed into the high-pressure cylinder through the one-way vent valve, so that secondary buffering is realized. After the air in the outer cavity enters the high-pressure cylinder, the air pressure in the outer cavity is reduced, and the expansion ball expands rapidly to provide third buffer for the safety airbag.
Preferably, the right-side occupant detection sensor and the left-side occupant detection sensor are provided on both seat cushions. The right side passenger detection sensor detects whether a passenger is present in the right side seat, and the left side passenger detection sensor detects whether a passenger is present in the left side seat.
Preferably, the high pressure cylinder is spherical and made of rigid material; the one-way vent valve allows only gas to pass from the outside to the inside. The high-pressure cylinder made of rigid material can bear high pressure generated after gas enters, and the one-way vent valve prevents the high-pressure gas of the high-pressure cylinder from leaking out.
Preferably, the inflatable balloon is a balloon having a gas therein, the inflatable balloon being deformable. The expansion ball deforms according to the external air pressure, the expansion ball is in a smaller shape when the external air pressure is high, the expansion ball rapidly expands when the external air pressure is low, and the volume of the expansion ball is increased to be several times larger than the original volume.
Preferably, all of the airbags are connected to an airbag controller. Airbag controllers are used to control all airbags, and are known in the art.
Preferably, six one-way vent valves are annularly distributed in the high-pressure cylinder; the connecting belt divides the outer cavity into six parts corresponding to the one-way vent valve. The outer cavity is divided into six parts, and each part is separated by the connecting belt, so that the parts of the safety air bag can be prevented from being influenced by other parts. Each one-way vent valve is responsible for the entry of a respective portion of gas into the high pressure cylinder.
Preferably, the connecting band is made of a rubber material. The whole safety airbag needs to be deformed, and the connecting belt made of the rubber material is soft and can be matched with the deformation of the safety airbag.
Therefore, the invention has the following beneficial effects: (1) the safety of passengers on the collision side is effectively protected; (2) the buffer has multiple buffers and better protection effect; (3) more stable and not easy to be damaged in advance.

Each one-way ventilation valve 12 is responsible for the entry of a respective portion of gas into the high pressure cylinder 8. The high pressure cylinder 8 is provided with a one-way vent valve 12, the inner side of the bag skin of the safety air bag is provided with a plurality of expansion balls 13, the expansion balls 13 deform according to the external air pressure, the expansion balls 13 are in a small shape when the external air pressure is large, the expansion balls 13 expand rapidly when the external air pressure is small, and the volume is increased to be several times as large as the original volume.
The rear row of the automobile is generally provided with two seats, safety air bags are arranged on two sides of the whole seat, and a far-end safety air bag 5 is arranged between backrests of the two seats and used for absorbing collision energy of the heads of passengers on the non-collision side, so that the safety of the passengers on the rear row is protected, and the injury caused by collision among the passengers is reduced or avoided. After the air in the outer cavity 10 enters the high-pressure cylinder 8, the air pressure in the outer cavity 10 is reduced, and the expansion ball 13 is rapidly expanded to provide third cushion for the safety airbag.
The working principle is as follows:
the invention arranges a side safety air bag and a far-end safety air bag 5 on a seat back 1, when a vehicle has a side collision moment, a collision sensor on the vehicle detects collision information and sends the detected collision signal to a controller, the controller analyzes the collision strength after receiving the collision signal, when the collision speed reaches the set working speed of the safety air bag, the controller synthesizes passenger seating information sent by a passenger detection sensor and sends a working signal to the safety air bag, and the specific working information is as follows:
1. when no passenger sits on the rear row, the controller sends an airbag non-ignition signal;
2. when the rear row left and right occupants both take the seat, the controller sends an ignition signal to the collision side airbag and the far end airbag 5;
3. when a rear-row single-side passenger sits on the seat, if the collision happens to the passenger sitting side, the airbag controller sends a collision side airbag ignition signal; if the collision happens to the non-passenger seat side, the airbag controller sends an ignition signal of the far-end safety airbag 5;
when a vehicle is in side collision, the collision side safety airbag is unfolded after collision, the airbag supports the head, the neck, the chest and the abdomen of a passenger at the collision side, the head of the passenger does not impact on the side wall of the vehicle due to inertia action and extrudes the airbag of the safety airbag, the collision energy of the head of the passenger is absorbed by the safety airbag, the chest and the abdomen of the passenger cannot be directly extruded by embedding the side surface of the vehicle caused by collision deformation, the airbag of the side safety airbag is extruded, the energy is absorbed by the safety airbag, the safety of the passenger at the collision side is effectively protected by the side safety airbag, and the injury caused by collision is reduced or avoided; when the side airbag is deployed, the far-end airbag 5 is deployed, the non-collision side passenger moves obliquely toward the collision side due to the inertia effect, the head of the non-collision side passenger collides with the far-end airbag 5, and the collision energy of the head of the non-collision side passenger is absorbed by the far-end airbag 5, so that the safety of the rear-row passenger is protected, and the injury caused by collision among the passengers is reduced or avoided.
