Abstract
The invention discloses a multi-tab fixing device for a battery, which comprises a first fixing piece and a second fixing piece which are mutually hinged through a hinge part; the first fixing piece comprises a first clamping part and a first handle part, and the second fixing piece comprises a second clamping part and a second handle part; conductive laminated plates are arranged on two sides, close to each other, of the first clamping part and the second clamping part, and one laminated plate is connected with an external tab; a tightening mechanism is arranged between the first handle part and the second handle part; the tightening mechanism simultaneously tightens the first handle part and the second handle part to press the first clamping part and the second clamping part. The invention replaces the traditional welding by the buckle connection, avoids the defects in the welding, has simple process and higher installation efficiency, and improves the maintainability and the replaceability of the battery.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention first provides a multi-tab fixing device for a battery, including a first fixing member and a second fixing member hinged to each other by a hinge portion; the first fixing piece comprises a first clamping part and a first handle part which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinge part, and the second fixing piece comprises a second clamping part and a second handle part which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinge part; conductive laminated plates are arranged on two sides of the first clamping part and the second clamping part, which are close to each other, and one laminated plate is electrically connected with an external tab; a tightening mechanism is arranged between the first handle part and the second handle part; the tightening mechanism simultaneously tightens the first handle part and the second handle part to press the first clamping part and the second clamping part.
In a preferred embodiment, a buckle is arranged on one side of the first clamping part close to the second clamping part, and the second clamping part is provided with a clamping hole for the buckle to pass through; the buckle is matched with the clamping hole to press the laminated plate.
In a preferred embodiment, the buckle is arranged on one side of the first clamping part away from the hinge part.

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, in an embodiment of the present invention, a multi-tab fixing device 100 for a battery and a battery using the multi-tab fixing device 100 are provided, in which the multi-tab fixing device 100 is used to fix a plurality of tabs on a positive electrode plate of a battery roll core together, instead of a conventional welding method.
The battery multi-tab fixing device 100 includes first fixing members (11,12) and second fixing members (21,22) hinged to each other by a hinge portion 101; the first fixing parts (11,12) and the second fixing parts (21,22) are strip-shaped integrated parts, and in order to avoid internal short circuit, the first fixing parts and the second fixing parts can be made of insulating plastic materials. The first fixing pieces (11,12) are hinged with the second fixing pieces (21,22), and the overlapped and connected parts are the hinged parts (101), namely, the first fixing pieces (11,12) comprise first clamping parts (11) and first handle parts (12) which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinged parts (101), and the second fixing pieces (21,22) comprise second clamping parts (21) and second handle parts (22) which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinged parts (101); the first engaging portion 11 corresponds to the second engaging portion 21, the first handle portion 12 corresponds to the second handle portion 22, and the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 21 can be driven to open and close by opening and closing the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22.
The conductive pressing plates 30 are arranged on two sides, close to each other, of the first clamping portion 11 and the second clamping portion 21, and further, the pressing plates 30 comprise clamping plates 31 connected with the first clamping portion 11 or the second clamping portion 21 and a plurality of clamping teeth 32 distributed on the clamping plates 31, and the clamping teeth 32 of the two pressing plates 30 are arranged oppositely, so that when the first clamping portion 11 and the second clamping portion 21 are close to each other and pressed, the two pressing plates 30 located between the first clamping portion 11 and the second clamping portion 21 are also pressed. The plurality of tabs on the battery roll core are inserted between the two laminated plates 30 in a smooth manner, and the snap teeth 32 on the laminated plates 30 are meshed with the tabs, so that the plurality of tabs are tightly attached together, and the phenomenon of insufficient welding and over-welding in welding is avoided; meanwhile, one of the laminated plates 30 is electrically connected with an external tab 40 with the length of about 5mm, and the laminated plate 30 is conductive, so that the laminated plate can be connected with a cover cap of a battery through the external tab 40; the external tab 40 may be welded to the cap or may be connected in a contact manner. Therefore, the plurality of tabs of the battery are not welded, so that the mounting process is simple, and the subsequent maintainability and replaceability are improved.
When the number of the snap-in teeth 32 in the laminated plate 30 is zero, the two snap-in plates 31 can be used for fixing the plurality of tabs in a pressed mode; when the number of the latch 32 is plural, the latch 32 may be randomly arranged on the card board 31, or may be arranged at equal intervals, and further, the latch 32 of the two pressing plates 30 may be arranged in a positive opposite manner, or may be arranged in a staggered manner, so as to increase the biting force of the latch 32.
Further, the latch 32 may be a rectangular parallelepiped or a cone, or a conical tip is set in an arc transition to avoid piercing the tab, and preferably, the latch 32 is hemispherical or hemispherical-like.
In the present embodiment, a tightening mechanism 50 is disposed between the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22; the tightening mechanism 50 simultaneously tightens the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22 to press the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 21 together; due to the hinged characteristic, when the tightening mechanism 50 tightens the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22 on the same side, the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 21 are also driven to tighten and press, so as to fix the plurality of tabs.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the tightening mechanism 50 includes a female buckle 51, a male buckle 52, and a link 53; the female buckle 51 is arranged on the first handle part 12, the connecting rod 53 is hinged with the second handle part 22, a male buckle 52 matched with the female buckle 51 is arranged at one end of the connecting rod 53 close to the first handle part 12, and a spring 54 is arranged between one end of the connecting rod 53 far away from the male buckle 52 and the second handle part 22; the spring 54 pushes the link 53 to make the male buckle 52 and the female buckle 51 cooperate to tighten and fix the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22. Optionally, in an embodiment, a buckle 111 is disposed on a side of the first engaging portion 11 close to the second engaging portion 12, the second engaging portion 12 is provided with a fastening hole (not shown) through which the buckle 111 passes, the buckle 111 cooperates with the fastening hole to press the pressing plate 30, when the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12 press a plurality of tabs, the buckle 111 synchronously passes through the fastening hole to cooperate, so as to further limit movement of the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12 after pressing, and enhance fixing firmness of the plurality of tabs. Further, the buckle 111 is disposed on a side of the first engaging portion 11 away from the hinge portion 101, that is, the laminated plate 30 is disposed between the buckle 111 and the hinge portion 101, and after the buckle 111 is fastened to the fastening hole, a ring for closing the plurality of tabs is formed, thereby preventing the plurality of tabs from moving laterally and being released. Similarly, a similar structure may be provided between the first handle portion 12 and the second handle portion 22 to further enhance the firmness of the press-fit.
In summary, the external tab 40 is electrically connected to the cap, and the tightening mechanism 50 engages the pressing plates 30 respectively disposed on the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12 to press and fix the battery tabs located between the pressing plates 30, so that the conventional welding is replaced by the snap connection, thereby avoiding the defects in the welding, and the battery assembly has the advantages of simple process, higher installation efficiency, and improved maintainability and replaceability of the battery.

Claims (10)
1. A multi-tab fixing device for a battery is characterized by comprising a first fixing piece and a second fixing piece which are mutually hinged through a hinge part; the first fixing piece comprises a first clamping part and a first handle part which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinge part, and the second fixing piece comprises a second clamping part and a second handle part which are respectively positioned at two sides of the hinge part; conductive laminated plates are arranged on two sides of the first clamping part and the second clamping part, which are close to each other, and one laminated plate is electrically connected with an external tab; a tightening mechanism is arranged between the first handle part and the second handle part; the tightening mechanism simultaneously tightens the first handle part and the second handle part to press the first clamping part and the second clamping part.
2. The battery multi-tab fixing device according to claim 1, wherein a buckle is provided on one side of the first engaging portion close to the second engaging portion, and the second engaging portion is provided with a buckle hole for the buckle to pass through; the buckle is matched with the clamping hole to press the laminated plate.
3. The battery multi-tab fixing device according to claim 2, wherein the snap is provided on a side of the first engaging portion away from the hinge portion.

7. The battery multi-tab securing device according to claim 6, wherein said teeth of two said laminate plates are staggered.

9. The battery multi-tab securing device according to claim 1, wherein the length of the external tab is 5 mm.
10. A battery comprising a battery multi-tab retention device according to any of claims 1-9.
