An automatic and rapid cassava planting device and a method thereof, which comprises a movable vehicle seat (1), and is characterized in that the support frame (2) is fixed on the left side above the movable vehicle seat (1), a cassava seed stem section containing barrel (3) is fixed on a top frame body of the support frame (2), an opening and closing baffle plate (5) is rotatably installed at a bottom end release port of the cassava seed stem section containing barrel (3) through a rotating shaft (4), a right part plate body of the opening and closing baffle plate (5) completely seals the bottom end release port of the seed collecting barrel (3), a left part plate body of the opening and closing baffle plate extends leftwards, a pressure reset spring (6) is vertically installed above the left part plate body of the opening and closing baffle plate (5), a receiving and discharging piece (7) is arranged below the bottom end release port of the cassava seed stem section containing barrel (3), the receiving and discharging piece (7) is composed of a receiving hopper (701) and a discharging pipe (702) which are integrally communicated, a lifting push rod (9) is vertically arranged right below the pressure return spring (6), the lifting push rod (9) is arranged by penetrating through the two guide sleeves (13) in a matching way, the guide sleeves (13) are fixed on the inner side wall of the support frame (2) through the support (13), the bottom end of the lifting push rod (9) is rotatably hinged with the top end of the support dowel bar (10), the bottom end of the support dowel bar (10) is rotatably hinged on the circumferential position of the disc surface of the disc (11), the disc (11) is driven by a constant speed motor (12) fixed on the inner side wall of the support frame (2) to work, a fixed mount (15) is fixed on the right outer wall surface of the supporting frame (2), a supporting arm (17) is vertically and adjustably limited and fixed on the fixed frame (15) through two groups of fastening bolts (16), and a ditching plowshare (18) is installed at the bottom end of the supporting arm (17).

Step three: the whole vehicle body moves: the whole movable saddle (1) is driven to normally walk on the farmland from left to right by adopting manual pushing or tractor head pulling.
Step four: discharging the seeds: after the uniform-speed motor (12) is started, the intermittent discharge effect of the seeds is achieved by utilizing the reciprocating lifting of the lifting push rod (9), so that the seeds are planted.
