Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a grinding machine for grinding rails of a track, which can be displaced manually on the track, comprising a support frame which is guided on the rails by means of two rail guides and on which a drive motor is arranged, which is coupled to a vertically adjustable grinding member.
Background
A machine of this type is known, for example, from DE 1154496B. The machine is a rail grinding apparatus pivoted by a rotating carriage, which is supported on a frame and can be moved manually on the rail by means of running rollers. The grinding apparatus can be raised and lowered relative to the frame by a spindle drive.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to improve the prior art of a grinding mill of the type mentioned at the outset.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a grinding mill according to claim 1. The dependent claims show advantageous embodiments of the invention.
The invention provides that the rail guiding devices each comprise a quick change device in which one of at least two interchangeable rail guiding systems is fixed. Thus, the rail guide apparatus can be easily adapted to local conditions at a construction site. In particular, the different guiding means enable ergonomic operation of the finishing machine and flexible use of the finishing machine according to the working situation.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the respective quick-change device comprises a sleeve with internal toothing and the respective rail guide system comprises a pin with external toothing. Due to the form-fitting connection of the quick-change device, a stable guidance of the grinding machine is ensured. The pin with the external toothing can be pushed into the sleeve with the internal toothing, so that the corresponding rail guide system can be changed quickly and simply.
Another advantageous variant of the invention provides that the grinding member is connected to the drive motor by a gear unit for transmitting power. In this case, the power is transmitted to the grinding element in an optimized manner, wherein the drive motor and the grinding element can be arranged on different shafts.
A further development of the device according to the invention provides that the resistance of the vertical adjustment means of the grinding member can be adjusted by means of an adjustment element. Thus, the vertical adjustment device can be adapted to specific requirements during operation, in particular for compensating wear on the grinding member. In this case, the resistance of the vertical adjustment device can be set in a simple manner to the individual requirements of the operator.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the first rail guide system comprises only an inner and an outer plate disc applied to the rail head. To handle the rail head, two plates are simply placed at the desired angle on the rail head. This ensures a fast and simple job process.
It is useful here if the axis of rotation of the outer plate disc is inclined downwards at an angle relative to the axis of rotation of the inner plate disc. Thus, during lateral grinding of the rail, greater holding or clamping forces are exerted on the grinding machine from the rail. The operator needs to apply less force as the grinding member is pulled more strongly towards the rail head.
A further advantageous variant of the invention provides that the second rail guide system comprises two plate discs applied to the head of the rail, a guide roller and a guide hook. This embodiment variant is particularly suitable for turnout areas or rail crossings.
It is also advantageous if the respective rail guide system is rotatably supported on the axle carrier. Thereby, the grinding machine can be guided onto the rail at the required angle and to the position desired by the operator.
In this case, it is advantageous if the axle carrier is connected to a guide handle which can be rotated about the carrier axis and can be mounted alternately. In this way, the grinding machine can be easily adapted to the respective requirements of ergonomics and can be guided to the rail at a desired angle. Right-handed and left-handed people are able to use the grinder because the guide handles are alternately installed.
As a further improvement, the guide handle can be locked by a locking means. Thus, the guide handle, which can rotate together with the axle carrier, can be simply locked in the desired position. During the functioning of the locking device, the angle between the support frame and the guide handle cannot change, thus also ensuring safe operation.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the locking device is designed as a multi-disc brake. The multi-disc brake is subject to only very little wear and requires little maintenance, thus making it not only very reliable in operation, but also very durable and reliable.

Detailed Description
The grinding machine 1 for grinding the rails 2 of a track 3, visible in fig. 1, comprises a support frame 5 extending in the longitudinal direction 4 of the track, at each end of which support frame 5 a shaft carrier 7 is provided, which shaft carrier 7 is mounted to rotate about a carrier axis 6 together with a rail guide 8 designed to roll on the rail 2. On the shaft carriers 7 at both longitudinal ends of the support frame 5, arcuate guide handles 9 are provided, by means of which guide handles 9 the support frame 5 and a drive motor 10 provided on the support frame 5 together with grinding members 11 (grinding disc, grinding stone) can be pivoted about the carrier axis 6.
In addition, a locking device 12 is provided between the support frame 5 and the guide handle 9, the locking device 12 being designed as a multi-disc brake in fig. 1 as an example. The operator can rotate the guide handle 9 to the support frame 5 at a desired angle and lock it. For example, a multi-disc brake adjustable by the lever 13 is used as the locking device 12. Furthermore, the guide handle 9 can be mounted on either side of the support frame 5, as viewed in the longitudinal direction 4 of the rail.
During operation, the respective rail guide 8 comprises one of two different rail guide systems 14, 15, which can be used alternately. During the grinding process, both the first rail guide system 14 and the second rail guide system 15 may be installed (for illustration, two rail guide systems are shown in fig. 1).
The support frame 5 also has, at the lower end 16: two support rollers 17, the support rollers 17 being designed to roll on the rail 2; and a carrying handle 18 at either end. The support rollers 17 (replication rollers) roll on the rail surface and form a surface reference for the grinding member 11.
The grinding member 11 is arranged to be changeable in its height by means of a vertical adjustment device 19. For example, a spindle rotatable by means of a handwheel 34 and its corresponding counterpart serve as vertical adjustment device 19. The rotational resistance at the hand wheel 34 can be adjusted by means of the adjusting element 20 acting on the disk spring package 21. For this purpose, the adjusting element 20 is designed, for example, as a union nut with a slip-resistant surface. The variable vertical adjustment device 19 in combination with the interchangeable rail guide systems 14, 15 and the adjustable guide handle 9 makes the operating mode of the grinding machine 1 particularly efficient and ergonomic and enables the grinding machine to be used flexibly.
Fig. 2 and 3 show an exploded view of a rail guide 8 with two rail guide systems 14, 15. The particular rail guide systems 14, 15 are exchanged by means of a quick change device 22 guided in the axle carrier 7. The quick-change device 22 comprises on the frame side a rotatably mounted sliding sleeve 23 which is open at both ends and has internal teeth. As a counterpart of the corresponding quick-change device 22, a pin 24 with external toothing is pushed into the sliding sleeve 23 and locked.
In particular, the respective rail guide system 14, 15 comprises one such pin 24. Thus, for example, the first rail guide system 14 can be mounted on the inner front side of the sliding sleeve, and the second rail guide system 15 can be mounted on the outer side of the sliding sleeve. Thus, two rail guide systems may be installed simultaneously for ease of transport or storage. The respective pin 24 is fixed by means of a screw, but for example in a variant not shown, the fixing of the pin can also be performed by means of a rod.
Fig. 4 shows a detailed view of the first rail guide system 14. The first rail guide system 14 comprises only an inner plate disc 25 (telesrcheibe) and an outer plate disc 26 applied to the rail head 27. The outer disk 26 has a larger diameter than the inner disk 25 during the lateral grinding of the rail head 27. Each plate disc 25, 26 is mounted for rotation about a respective axis of rotation 28, 29, wherein the axis of rotation 29 of the outer plate disc 26 is inclined downwardly at an angle a relative to the axis of rotation 28 of the inner plate disc 25. By means of the two plate discs 25, 26, the rail head 27 can be enclosed in a simple manner to ensure a stable guidance of the grinding machine 1. The inclination of the outer plate 26 at the angle α here increases the holding force exerted by the rail head 27 on the grinding machine 1, thus reducing the burden on the operator during lateral grinding.
Fig. 5 and 6 show two detailed views of the second rail guide system 15. The second rail guide system 15 comprises two plate discs 30 applied to the rail head 27, guide rollers 31 and guide hooks 32. The plates 30 are also rotatably mounted on axes disposed at an angle to each other. The second rail guidance system 15 can be applied to the rails 2 or other elements of the track 3 (e.g., guard rails, guide rails) at different locations to facilitate efficient handling of switches or rail crossings.
Figures 7 to 9 show various possibilities of using the grinding machine 1 with the second rail guide system 15 installed. In fig. 7, the grinding machine 1 is supported vertically on the rail head 27 by means of the supporting rollers 17. The guide hook 32 and the guide roller 31 of the second rail guide system 15 enclose the rail head 27. This position is particularly suitable for the head grinding of the rail 2.
In fig. 8, the grinding machine 1 is also supported vertically on the rail head 27 by means of the supporting rollers 17. However, the second rail guide system 15 is arranged to be rotated 180 degrees relative to the position shown in figure 7. This position is particularly suitable for switch areas. During this time, one of the plates 30 is supported on the guide rail 33.
In fig. 9, the grinding machine 1 including the guide handle 9 is positioned on the rail 2 and rotated 90 degrees relative to the position shown in fig. 7 and 8. Here, the grinding mill 1 is stably guided by the support rollers 17 and the guide rollers 31 applied to the rail 2. In particular, the grinding machine 1 is supported laterally on the rail head 27 by means of the supporting rollers 17. In this position, the lateral grinding of the rail 2 is performed.
