Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical auxiliary instruments, in particular to a collecting device used after a colostomy.
Background
Colostomy, which is an operation in which a surgeon creates an artificial opening in the abdominal wall in order to treat some diseases (e.g., rectal cancer, ulcerative colitis, etc.), and lifts the intestinal tract out of the opening in the abdominal wall, and turns it over and sews it on the abdominal wall to form an enterostomy, whereby the discharge opening for feces is changed from the anus to the abdomen. In China, the number of colostomy patients is estimated to be increased by 10 ten thousand per year initially, and the average life cycle is calculated by 10 years, so that about 100 ten thousand colostomy patients exist in China.
The inventors have found that patients with obesity who have received a colostomy are prone to develop a problem of narrowing of the stoma after the operation. The retracted and invaginated stoma can form an internal concave bowl-shaped structure between the stoma and the skin of the abdominal wall, and the structure is easy to accumulate intestinal fluid and excrement (particularly loose excrement) discharged from the alimentary canal; the intestinal contents are accumulated at the outer opening of the stoma, which easily irritates the skin around the stoma, further causes local pain and even skin necrosis, and brings great inconvenience and pain to the life of patients.
