本发明公开了一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,属于塑料制备技术领域。首先利用三氧化二锑和红磷对聚乙烯进行改性,由于三氧化二锑和红磷在受热时发生分解过程中,对聚乙烯不受影响,本发明利用环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐对马铃薯淀粉进行双重改性,在改性淀粉的作用下,使基材形成一定强度的界面,再通过与淀粉中的活性羟基发生接枝共聚、氧化和酯化化学反应,其中马铃薯淀粉本身具有优良的可生物降解性,而且无毒、无刺激性,继续采用溶胶‑凝胶法将钛酸四丁酯和四氯化碳等混合搅拌反应得到TiO2催化粉末,由于TiO2催化粉末在紫外光的激发下产生电子与空穴,具有很强的氧化还原能力,进一步提高聚乙烯塑料的可降解性,具有广泛的应用前景。

背景技术
聚乙烯塑料(简称:PE),是五大合成树脂之一,是我国合成树脂中产能最大、进口量最多的品种。具有耐腐蚀性,电绝缘性(尤其高频绝缘性)优良,可以氯化,辐照改性等特点。主要用于包装、农业和交通等部门。
聚乙烯广泛应用于塑料包装材料、发泡材料、编织布材料、电缆线包覆材料等多个方面。但它的氧指数只有18.5,属于易燃材料,这限制了它们的应用。为了提高聚乙烯材料的阻燃性,传统上一般添加含卤阻燃剂以及三氧化二锑等阻燃增效剂,这种阻燃剂在燃烧时会释放大量有毒的卤化氢气体,烟雾大,会给环境以及人身安全造成极大的损害。因此,氢氧化镁、氢氧化铝作为兼具填充、阻燃、消烟功能的清洁型无机阻燃剂是一个很有前途的替代,氢氧化物在燃烧时可以释放出水分,当材料遇火燃烧时,能够吸收燃烧放出的热量,产生水及氧化物,对聚合物有一定的炭化作用,形成一个保护层,起到阻燃作用,同时抑制材料燃烧和烟雾的产生,并达到无卤、无毒、低烟的目的,尤其是氢氧化镁作为阻燃剂,具有较高的分解温度。由于氢氧化镁无卤阻燃剂只有在加填量达到50%以上时才能够达到阻燃聚合物的作用,这导致聚合物材料的力学性能,尤其是韧性和强度大幅度降低。另一方面,由于氢氧化镁表面亲水疏油,极性大,导致其在高填充量条件下,很难均匀地分散到高分子基体中,从而影响聚合物材料的加工性能和机械性能。因此,需要添加少量阻燃增效剂来降低氢氧化镁用量,以改善材料性能。
随着社会经济的发展以及科学技术的进步,人们环境保护的意识越来越高,塑料废弃物所造成的白色污染问题也越来越受到重视,因此,具有生物降解能力的材料成为时代发展的需要。然而目前的聚乙烯塑料的降解性差,不能满足人们的对聚乙烯的要求,且耐水性差。因此,发明一种阻燃性好、具有降解性且耐水性好的改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料对塑料制备技术领域具有积极意义。

(1)按质量比为1:7将马铃薯淀粉和去离子水混合置于烧杯中,在温度为80~85℃下混合搅拌16~18min,得到淀粉糊液,自然冷却至24~32℃,并用质量分数为11%的盐酸调节淀粉糊液的pH值至5~6,得到淀粉混合液,再向淀粉混合液中加入淀粉混合液质量1%的异淀粉酶,在温度为32~35℃下搅拌酶解47~52min后,过滤去除滤渣,得到滤液即为淀粉反应液;
(2)接着将淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐按质量比为5:1:2:1混合,并在温度为35~40℃下搅拌反应21~24min,得到混合液,继续将混合液放入抽滤器抽滤3~5遍,去除滤液,即得固体物,自然风干,研磨出料,得到改性淀粉颗粒;
(3)称取5~7mL钛酸四丁酯倒入带有16~20mL四氯化碳的烧杯中,并混合搅拌,得到混合液,再向混合液中滴加2~4mL蒸馏水,混合水解反应,水解结束后,得到果冻状溶胶,继续将果冻状溶胶置于蒸馏瓶中蒸馏,得到蓬松粉末,最后将蓬松粉末倒入马弗炉中焙烧,研磨出料,得到TiO2催化粉末;
(4)称取68~76g聚乙烯加热升温使其软化,向软化后的聚乙烯中依次加入1~3g三氧化二锑和2~4g红磷,继续混合搅拌,得到改性聚乙烯熔融液;
(5)按重量份数计,分别称取35~40份改性聚乙烯熔融液、13~15份改性淀粉颗粒和9~11份TiO2催化粉末混合置于反应釜中搅拌反应,再添加2~4份硬脂酸、1~3份过氧化苯甲酰和3~5份无水乙醇,继续保温混合搅拌,得到混合料,继续将混合料放入双螺杆挤出机中混炼,造粒,挤出成型,即得改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料。
步骤(1)所述的马铃薯淀粉和去离子水的质量比为1:7,搅拌温度为80~85℃,搅拌时间为16~18min,冷却温度为24~32℃,盐酸的质量分数为11%,搅拌酶解温度为32~35℃,搅拌酶解时间为47~52min。
步骤(2)所述的淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐的质量比为5:1:2:1,搅拌反应温度为35~40℃,搅拌反应时间为21~24min,抽滤次数为3~5遍。
步骤(3)所述的搅拌时间为6~9min,水解反应时间为35~40min,蒸馏温度为45~50℃,蒸馏时间为45~60min,焙烧温度为550~600℃,焙烧时间为1~2h。
步骤(4)所述的加热升温温度为85~90℃,搅拌时间为30~32min。
步骤(5)所述的搅拌反应温度为120~125℃,搅拌反应时间为45~60min,继续搅拌时间为17~19min,混炼温度为160~240℃,混炼压力为2~4MPa,混炼时间为1~2h。
本发明与其他方法相比,有益技术效果是:
(1)本发明以聚乙烯为基材,改性淀粉颗粒和TiO2催化粉末作为促进剂,并辅以硬脂酸和过氧化苯甲酰等制备得到改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料,首先利用三氧化二锑和红磷对聚乙烯进行改性,由于三氧化二锑和红磷在受热时发生分解过程中,对聚乙烯不受影响,这些阻燃剂与聚乙烯发生交联反应,生成了炭层或泡沫状覆盖物,阻挡了空气接触聚乙烯表面,控制了可挥发的燃料进入空气加速燃烧,实现了减缓传热传质的作用,从而提高聚乙烯塑料的阻燃性;
(2)本发明利用环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐对马铃薯淀粉进行双重改性,在改性淀粉的作用下,使基材形成一定强度的界面,酯化可以通过羟基取代并赋予淀粉疏水性,交联处理增加分子内部和分子间的联系,同时能够增加淀粉结构中交联的密度,从而限制水分的吸收,使得具有一定粘性的淀粉均匀分散在聚乙烯表面,增强淀粉与聚烯烃类相容性,再通过与淀粉中的活性羟基发生接枝共聚、氧化和酯化化学反应,促进降低表面羟基的含量,达到疏水的目的,从而提高聚乙烯塑料的耐水性,其中马铃薯淀粉本身具有优良的可生物降解性,而且无毒、无刺激性,它在自然界中的微生物、水、酸、碱等作用下能完全分解,最终产物是二氧化碳和水,对环境无污染,从而提高聚乙烯塑料的可降解性,继续采用溶胶-凝胶法将钛酸四丁酯和四氯化碳等混合搅拌反应得到TiO2催化粉末,由于TiO2催化粉末在紫外光的激发下产生电子与空穴,具有很强的氧化还原能力,能将吸附在其周围的高分子有机物彻底氧化成二氧化碳和水,进一步提高聚乙烯塑料的可降解性,具有广泛的应用前景。
具体实施方式
按质量比为1:7将马铃薯淀粉和去离子水混合置于烧杯中,在温度为80~85℃下混合搅拌16~18min,得到淀粉糊液,自然冷却至24~32℃,并用质量分数为11%的盐酸调节淀粉糊液的pH值至5~6,得到淀粉混合液,再向淀粉混合液中加入淀粉混合液质量1%的异淀粉酶,在温度为32~35℃下搅拌酶解47~52min后,过滤去除滤渣,得到滤液即为淀粉反应液;接着将淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐按质量比为5:1:2:1混合,并在温度为35~40℃下搅拌反应21~24min,得到混合液,继续将混合液放入抽滤器抽滤3~5遍,去除滤液,即得固体物,自然风干,研磨出料,得到改性淀粉颗粒;称取5~7mL钛酸四丁酯倒入带有16~20mL四氯化碳的烧杯中,并混合搅拌6~9min,得到混合液,再向混合液中滴加2~4mL蒸馏水,混合水解反应35~40min,水解结束后,得到果冻状溶胶,继续将果冻状溶胶置于蒸馏瓶中,在温度为45~50℃下蒸馏45~60min,得到蓬松粉末,最后将蓬松粉末倒入马弗炉中,在温度为550~600℃的条件下焙烧1~2h,研磨出料,得到TiO2催化粉末;称取68~76g聚乙烯加热升温至85~90℃使其软化,向软化后的聚乙烯中依次加入1~3g三氧化二锑和2~4g红磷,继续混合搅拌30~32min,得到改性聚乙烯熔融液;按重量份数计,分别称取35~40份改性聚乙烯熔融液、13~15份改性淀粉颗粒和9~11份TiO2催化粉末混合置于反应釜中,在温度为120~125℃下搅拌反应45~60min,再添加2~4份硬脂酸、1~3份过氧化苯甲酰和3~5份无水乙醇,继续保温混合搅拌17~19min,得到混合料,继续将混合料放入双螺杆挤出机中,在温度为160~240℃、压力为2~4MPa的条件下混炼1~2h,造粒,挤出成型,即得改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料。
实例1

实例2
按质量比为1:7将马铃薯淀粉和去离子水混合置于烧杯中,在温度为82℃下混合搅拌17min,得到淀粉糊液,自然冷却至28℃,并用质量分数为11%的盐酸调节淀粉糊液的pH值至5,得到淀粉混合液,再向淀粉混合液中加入淀粉混合液质量1%的异淀粉酶,在温度为34℃下搅拌酶解49min后,过滤去除滤渣,得到滤液即为淀粉反应液;接着将淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐按质量比为5:1:2:1混合,并在温度为37℃下搅拌反应22min,得到混合液,继续将混合液放入抽滤器抽滤4遍,去除滤液,即得固体物,自然风干,研磨出料,得到改性淀粉颗粒;称取6mL钛酸四丁酯倒入带有18mL四氯化碳的烧杯中,并混合搅拌7min,得到混合液,再向混合液中滴加3mL蒸馏水,混合水解反应37min,水解结束后,得到果冻状溶胶,继续将果冻状溶胶置于蒸馏瓶中,在温度为47℃下蒸馏47min,得到蓬松粉末,最后将蓬松粉末倒入马弗炉中,在温度为570℃的条件下焙烧1.5h,研磨出料,得到TiO2催化粉末;称取72g聚乙烯加热升温至87℃使其软化,向软化后的聚乙烯中依次加入2g三氧化二锑和3g红磷,继续混合搅拌31min,得到改性聚乙烯熔融液;按重量份数计,分别称取37份改性聚乙烯熔融液、14份改性淀粉颗粒和10份TiO2催化粉末混合置于反应釜中,在温度为122℃下搅拌反应55min,再添加3份硬脂酸、2份过氧化苯甲酰和4份无水乙醇,继续保温混合搅拌18min,得到混合料,继续将混合料放入双螺杆挤出机中,在温度为200℃、压力为3MPa的条件下混炼1.5h,造粒,挤出成型,即得改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料。
实例3
按质量比为1:7将马铃薯淀粉和去离子水混合置于烧杯中,在温度为85℃下混合搅拌18min,得到淀粉糊液,自然冷却至32℃,并用质量分数为11%的盐酸调节淀粉糊液的pH值至6,得到淀粉混合液,再向淀粉混合液中加入淀粉混合液质量1%的异淀粉酶,在温度为35℃下搅拌酶解52min后,过滤去除滤渣,得到滤液即为淀粉反应液;接着将淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐按质量比为5:1:2:1混合,并在温度为40℃下搅拌反应24min,得到混合液,继续将混合液放入抽滤器抽滤5遍,去除滤液,即得固体物,自然风干,研磨出料,得到改性淀粉颗粒;称取7mL钛酸四丁酯倒入带有20mL四氯化碳的烧杯中,并混合搅拌9min,得到混合液,再向混合液中滴加4mL蒸馏水,混合水解反应40min,水解结束后,得到果冻状溶胶,继续将果冻状溶胶置于蒸馏瓶中,在温度为50℃下蒸馏60min,得到蓬松粉末,最后将蓬松粉末倒入马弗炉中,在温度为600℃的条件下焙烧2h,研磨出料,得到TiO2催化粉末;称取76g聚乙烯加热升温至90℃使其软化,向软化后的聚乙烯中依次加入3g三氧化二锑和4g红磷,继续混合搅拌32min,得到改性聚乙烯熔融液;按重量份数计,分别称取40份改性聚乙烯熔融液、15份改性淀粉颗粒和11份TiO2催化粉末混合置于反应釜中,在温度为125℃下搅拌反应60min,再添加4份硬脂酸、3份过氧化苯甲酰和5份无水乙醇,继续保温混合搅拌19min,得到混合料,继续将混合料放入双螺杆挤出机中,在温度为240℃、压力为4MPa的条件下混炼2h,造粒,挤出成型,即得改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料。
对比例
以广东某公司生产的改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料作为对比例 对本发明制得的改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料和对比例中的改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料进行性能检测,检测结果如表1所示:
测试方法:
90天后降解率测试按GB/T19277标准进行检测;
阻燃等级测试按阻燃等级由HB,V-2,V-1向V-0逐级递增的标准进行检测;
氧指数测试采用氧指数测定仪进行性能检测;
水平燃烧长度测试按GB/T2408燃烧性能试验方法水平燃烧法进行检测;
垂直燃烧时间测试按GB/T5455阻燃性能测定垂直法进行检测;
吸水率测试按GB T 3299-2011标准进行检测;
耐水性测试:将实例1~3和对比例中的聚乙烯塑料放置在潮湿环境下,测得各聚乙烯塑料的拉伸强度及断裂强度。
表1聚乙烯塑料性能测定结果
根据上述中数据可知本发明制得的改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料阻燃性好,阻燃等级达到0级,降解率高,90天后降解率达到97%,耐水性好,吸水率低,在潮湿环境下,拉伸强度和断裂强度高,具有广阔的应用前景。
Claims (6)
1.一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于具体制备步骤为:
(1)按质量比为1:7将马铃薯淀粉和去离子水混合置于烧杯中,在温度为80~85℃下混合搅拌16~18min,得到淀粉糊液,自然冷却至24~32℃,并用质量分数为11%的盐酸调节淀粉糊液的pH值至5~6,得到淀粉混合液,再向淀粉混合液中加入淀粉混合液质量1%的异淀粉酶,在温度为32~35℃下搅拌酶解47~52min后,过滤去除滤渣,得到滤液即为淀粉反应液;
(2)接着将淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐按质量比为5:1:2:1混合,并在温度为35~40℃下搅拌反应21~24min,得到混合液,继续将混合液放入抽滤器抽滤3~5遍,去除滤液,即得固体物,自然风干,研磨出料,得到改性淀粉颗粒;
(3)称取5~7mL钛酸四丁酯倒入带有16~20mL四氯化碳的烧杯中,并混合搅拌,得到混合液,再向混合液中滴加2~4mL蒸馏水,混合水解反应,水解结束后,得到果冻状溶胶,继续将果冻状溶胶置于蒸馏瓶中蒸馏,得到蓬松粉末,最后将蓬松粉末倒入马弗炉中焙烧,研磨出料,得到TiO2催化粉末;
(4)称取68~76g聚乙烯加热升温使其软化,向软化后的聚乙烯中依次加入1~3g三氧化二锑和2~4g红磷,继续混合搅拌,得到改性聚乙烯熔融液;
(5)按重量份数计,分别称取35~40份改性聚乙烯熔融液、13~15份改性淀粉颗粒和9~11份TiO2催化粉末混合置于反应釜中搅拌反应,再添加2~4份硬脂酸、1~3份过氧化苯甲酰和3~5份无水乙醇,继续保温混合搅拌,得到混合料,继续将混合料放入双螺杆挤出机中混炼,造粒,挤出成型,即得改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于:步骤(1)所述的马铃薯淀粉和去离子水的质量比为1:7,搅拌温度为80~85℃,搅拌时间为16~18min,冷却温度为24~32℃,盐酸的质量分数为11%,搅拌酶解温度为32~35℃,搅拌酶解时间为47~52min。
3.根据权利要求1所述的一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于:步骤(2)所述的淀粉反应液、质量分数为3%的氢氧化钠溶液、环氧氯丙烷和琥珀酸酐的质量比为5:1:2:1,搅拌反应温度为35~40℃,搅拌反应时间为21~24min,抽滤次数为3~5遍。
4.根据权利要求1所述的一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于:步骤(3)所述的搅拌时间为6~9min,水解反应时间为35~40min,蒸馏温度为45~50℃,蒸馏时间为45~60min,焙烧温度为550~600℃,焙烧时间为1~2h。
5.根据权利要求1所述的一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于:步骤(4)所述的加热升温温度为85~90℃,搅拌时间为30~32min。
6.根据权利要求1所述的一种改性淀粉基聚乙烯塑料的制备方法,其特征在于:步骤(5)所述的搅拌反应温度为120~125℃,搅拌反应时间为45~60min,继续搅拌时间为17~19min,混炼温度为160~240℃,混炼压力为2~4MPa,混炼时间为1~2h。
