All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The scheme is provided for solving the problems that in the prior art, under the condition that the HSS and the HLR are separated and the called VoLTE user can only adopt sequential calling or simultaneous ringing when a 2G network is accessed, and the calling connection efficiency is low.
In the solution, as shown in fig. 2, an interface is newly added between the HSS and the HLR, for example, an MAP (mobile application Part) protocol may be used to exchange information through the interface, and after a VoLTE subscriber is registered in the 2G network through the HLR, the HLR notifies the HSS of the information, so that the HSS can know that the called VoLTE subscriber is accessed in the 2G network and instruct a subsequent connection network element to connect a call to the 2G network.
One embodiment of the VoLTE user registration procedure of the present invention is described below in conjunction with fig. 3.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a VoLTE subscriber registration method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S302, the VoLTE user accesses the 2G network and sends a registration notification message to the HLR.
The registration notification message is, for example, REGNOT (registration notification message) in the CDMA network, and Location Update (Location Update) message in the GSM network, where MSID (Mobile Station Identifier) or IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identifier) is carried, and an MSC (Mobile Switching Center) or VLR (Visitor Location Register) currently registered by the VoLTE Subscriber is sent to the HLR.
And step S304, the HLR authenticates the VoLTE user, and returns a response message of successful registration to the VoLTE user after the authentication is successful.
The response message indicating successful registration is, for example, regnot in the CDMA network and location update ack (location update confirm) in the GSM network.
And step S306, the HLR sends a notification message that the VoLTE user is registered in the 2G network to the HSS through the interface between the added HLR and the HSS.
The HLR and HSS exchange information via an interface between them, for example, using a MAP protocol, but not limited to the examples given. The notification message sent by the HLR to the HSS that the VoLTE subscriber has been registered in the 2G network is, for example, an INFODIR message in the CDMA network and an active SS message in the GSM network, where the notification message carries the MSID and redirection Number, and the redirection Number may be, for example, an access code and a subscriber Number, and the access code is used to identify that the VoLTE subscriber is registered in the 2G network, so as to avoid repeated triggering in a subsequent connection process.
In step S308, the HSS returns a notification message reception response to the HLR.
The notification message reception response is, for example, an info dir message in the CDMA network and an Activate SS ack message in the GSM network.
In the method of the embodiment, the interface is newly added between the HLR and the HSS, and the HLR interacts with the HSS through a specific signaling, so that the HSS learns that the VoLTE subscriber is registered in the 2G network, and a basis is provided for subsequently connecting the call to the 2G network.
A flowchart of an embodiment of a VoLTE subscriber call addressing method of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 4.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart of a VoLTE user call addressing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S402, the I-CSCF sends an address query request for continuing the called VoLTE user to the HSS, and correspondingly, the HSS receives the address query request.
The address query Request is, for example, an LIR (Location Immediate Request).
Step S404, the HSS judges whether the called VoLTE user is registered in the 2G network according to the VoLTE user registration information sent by the HLR, and returns an address query response, wherein the address query response carries the address information and the access code of the MGCF.
The VoLTE user registration information comprises a notification message which is sent by the HLR and used for the VoLTE user to register in the 2G network. The address inquiry response is, for example, LIA (Location Immediate Answer). The access code is used for identifying the registration of the VoLTE user in the 2G network, and each network element identifies that the user is registered in the 2G network through the access code in the subsequent call connection process, so that the repeated triggering process of reconnecting the call to the IMS domain is avoided.
Step S406, the I-CSCF sends an INVITE message to the MGCF, wherein the INVITE message carries an access code.
Step S408, the MGCF receives the INVITE Message and then sends an IAM (initial address Message) to the gateway mobile switching center GMSC, where the IAM Message carries an access code.
Wherein, the IAM message also carries the called user MSID, i.e. called user number and other information.

At step S412, the HLR sends a routing request to the VLR.
The routing request is, for example, a ROUTREQ message in a CDMA network and a PRN (roaming Number) message in a GSM network, where the routing request carries information such as the MSID of the called subscriber, i.e., the Number of the called subscriber.
Step S414, the VLR sends a routing request response to the HLR, which carries the TLDN (Temporary Local Number) or RN (Roaming Number) of the called VoLTE subscriber.
Where TLDN is used in a CDMA network and RN is used in a GSM network, the route request response is, for example, a routreq message in the CDMA network and a PRN ack message in the GSM network. The TLDN is a temporary number distributed by VLR for user, and is used only once during connection, and the TLDN is released after connection is completed.
Step S416, HLR sends a routing request response to GMCS, where the routing request response carries the TLDN or RN of the called VoLTE subscriber.
Where the route request response is, for example, a routreq message in a CDMA network and an SRI ack message in a GSM network.
Step S418, the GMSC sends an IAM message to the VLR, which carries the TLDN or RN.
Step S420, the VLR receives the IAM message sent by the GMSC and connects the call to the called party.
In the method of the embodiment, the communication interface is added between the HSS and the HLR, and the HLR notifies the HSS when the VoLTE user registers in the 2G network, so that the HSS can know that the called VoLTE user accesses in the 2G network and indicate a subsequent connection network element to connect the call to the 2G network. Therefore, the called connection problem of the called VoLTE user when the HSS and the HLR are separated and the called VoLTE user is accessed in the 2G network is solved, and the call connection efficiency is improved. In addition, the HSS can know the registration condition of the VoLTE user in the 2G network, and the HSS can indicate that the subsequent connection network element does not acquire the access network of the user through the access domain selection server any more and complete the call connection process, so that the signaling overhead is reduced.

Step S506, the I-CSCF sends an INVITE message to the S-CSCF, wherein the INVITE message carries the access code.
Step S508, the S-CSCF sends an INVITE message to the MGCF, where the INVITE message carries the access code.

The routing request is, for example, a ROUTREQ message in a CDMA network and a PRN (roaming Number) message in a GSM network, where the routing request carries information such as the MSID of the called subscriber, i.e., the Number of the called subscriber.
Step S516, the VLR sends a routing request response to the HLR, where the TLDN (Temporary Local Number) or RN (Roaming Number) of the called VoLTE subscriber is carried.
Step S518, the HLR sends a routing request response to the GMCS, where the routing request response carries the TLDN or RN of the called VoLTE subscriber.
Where the route request response is, for example, a routreq message in a CDMA network and an SRI ack message in a GSM network.
Step S520, the GMSC sends an IAM message to the VLR, which carries the TLDN RN.
In step S522, the VLR receives the IAM message sent by the GMSC and connects the call to the called party.
