Abstract
本发明属于涂料技术领域,涉及一种阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂及其制备方法。该分散树脂的制备方法包括如下步骤:1)制备小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯;2)制备含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯;3)制备醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯;4)制备分散树脂。该分散树脂侧链上硫醚键中的硫原子可以和铁系基材形成铁硫键,进而提高涂层与金属基材的结合力,提高涂层的耐腐蚀能力和抗再溶性能力;同时,该分散树脂拥有较好的流平性,可以提高涂层的光泽;另外,该分散树脂属于水性分散树脂,较少使用有机溶剂,具有低VOC环保特性。相比于季铵盐型分散树脂拥有诸多优点,具有广阔的应用前景。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于涂料技术领域,涉及一种能够提高阴极电泳涂料的耐腐蚀性、漆膜表面光泽和抗再溶性能力的硫鎓盐型分散树脂及其制备方法。
背景技术
电泳涂料通常是指在电场作用下,涂料中的主体物质在基材上沉积,最后烘烤成膜的一种水性涂料。经过几十年的发展,电泳涂料在涂料行业中的地位愈来愈重要,这主要归因于电泳涂料具有涂料利用率高、耐腐蚀能力强、环保性能好等特点。
汽车工业是阴极电泳涂料最主要的应用领域之一,用于该领域的阴极电泳涂料通常采用环氧树脂作为主体树脂,采用含有季铵盐结构的分散树脂来制备色浆。这种阴极电泳涂料在锌系磷化前处理时拥有良好的耐腐蚀能力,在中性盐雾试验条件下可达到1000小时。但是,锌系磷化前处理的成本较高,在一些低端应用领域的施工过程中经常采用铁系磷化前处理加以替代,其具有施工简单、成本低廉等特点,但是所得漆膜的耐盐雾能力大大下降,不利于基材的保护。在采用铁系磷化作为前处理时,传统的季铵盐型分散树脂的耐腐蚀能力不足。由于分散树脂中存在大量的铵盐,在高温烘烤时漆膜容易失光、黄变。季铵盐型分散树脂所制备的色浆在发生沉淀后,容易返粗,在一定程度上影响了施工的稳定性。
在提高电泳涂层的耐腐蚀性能方面,前人做出了大量的工作。李祥涛采用锆化膜技术作为前处理,提高了漆膜与基材的结合力和耐腐蚀性能(参见李祥涛,阴极电泳涂装前处理的研究[D],大连工业大学硕士学位论文,2013),但锆化前处理依然比铁系磷化成本高。聂仁态曾在采用铁系磷化作为前处理的电泳漆膜中加入高当量的环氧树脂,提高了漆膜的交联度,在一定程度上改善了电泳漆膜在铁系磷化时的耐腐蚀性能(参见聂仁态,SGMW整车耐腐蚀性与车身防腐工艺研究[D],吉林大学硕士学位论文,2011),但高当量的环氧树脂又带来了流平方面的问题,导致漆膜的外观变差。
发明内容
针对上述情况,本发明的目的在于提供一种阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂及其制备方法。该分散树脂是一种阳离子分散树脂,由小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯、含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯、醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯和环氧树脂反应制备主体树脂,然后采用经质子酸酸化的硫醚类化合物与上述主体树脂反应制得,其中:醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯由醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物与异氰酸酯类化合物反应制得;含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯由含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物与异氰酸酯类化合物反应制得;小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯由聚醚类化合物或聚乙二醇类化合物与异氰酸酯类化合物反应,然后再与醇类化合物和醇醚类化合物反应制得。
为了达到上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:
一种阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂的制备方法,其包括如下步骤:
1)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加聚醚(又称聚醚多元醇)类化合物,同时开启循环冷却装置,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;滴加醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述聚醚类化合之间的摩尔比为2~3:1;所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为1.5~2:1;
2)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为0.5~1:1;
3)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为0.5~1:1;
4)在惰性气体保护下,向带有加热装置和搅拌装置的反应容器中加入环氧树脂、双酚A、壬基酚和二甲苯,加热至100~110℃,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;加入甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂,于130~140℃保温1~4小时,降温至100~110℃,保温1~2小时;滴加步骤1)中得到的小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯、步骤2)中得到的含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯和步骤3)中得到的醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,于100~110℃保温1~3小时后降温至60~65℃;加入硫醚类化合物、质子酸和水,于65~75℃保温4~8小时,加入水稀释,混合均匀后,得到阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂;
其中:所述步骤1)中得到的小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为5~15:100;所述步骤2)中得到的含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为10~20:100;所述步骤3)中得到的醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为20~30:100。
优选的,在上述制备方法中,所述惰性气体包括氮气、氦气、氖气和氩气,优选氮气。

优选的,所述质子酸包括甲酸、冰醋酸、氨基磺酸、硝酸、乳酸和2,2-二羟甲基丙酸,优选冰醋酸。
优选的,所述水为去离子水。
通过上述制备方法制备的阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂。该分散树脂结构中的硫原子可以与铁离子形成铁硫键,提高了涂层与基材之间的作用力,进而提高了涂层的耐腐蚀能力和抗再溶性能力;同时,该分散树脂具有更好的流平性,提高了涂层表面的光泽和外观。
与现有技术相比,采用上述技术方案的本发明具有如下优点:
(1)本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂利用结构中的硫醚键的硫原子与铁离子形成铁硫键,提高了涂层与基材的结合力,进而提高了涂层的耐腐蚀能力和抗再溶性能力;
(2)平均分子量较小的硫鎓盐型树脂的水溶液粘度较低,制备色浆时易产生沉降,本发明采用接枝小分子缔合型增稠剂的方法,使得硫鎓盐型分散树脂的抗沉降性能得到大大提升;
(3)本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂的平均分子量小于普通季铵盐分散树脂,拥有更低的玻璃化转变温度,流平性更好,可以提高涂层表面的光泽,改善外观属性;
(4)本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂结构中的硫醚键部分代替了季铵盐型分散树脂结构中的醚氧键,提高了耐高温变色的能力;
(5)本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂为水性树脂,较少使用有机溶剂,具有VOC含量低、环保性能好等特点;
(6)本发明的制备方法具有工艺简单、反应温度低、加工成本低、易于大规模操作等优点。

具体实施方式
以下将结合附图和具体实施例对本发明的技术方案做出进一步的描述。应当理解的是,下列实施例仅用于说明本发明,而并非以任何形式限制本发明的保护范围。另外,除非特殊说明,下列实施例中所使用的仪器、材料、试剂等均可通过常规商业手段获得。
实施例1:制备阴极电泳涂料A组分——乳液。
制备方法可参考US8486538B2、US4419467、US3984299中记载的方法。
准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:816份环氧树脂828、2份甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂、384份双酚A、60份二甲苯、847份封闭异氰酸酯交联剂(由甲苯二异氰酸酯与异辛醇和三羟甲基丙烷反应制得,异辛醇与三羟甲基丙烷的摩尔比为7:3,固体分85%)、45份N-甲基单乙醇胺、144份酮亚胺(由二亚乙基三胺与甲基异丁基酮经脱水反应制得,固体分85%)、120份丙二醇正丁醚、60份丙二醇苯醚、24份冰醋酸、3500份去离子水。
在氮气保护下,向带有加热装置和搅拌装置的反应釜中投入环氧树脂828、双酚A和二甲苯,控制转速为400rpm,加热至100℃左右;待全部融化并混合均匀后,加入甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂,于140℃保温2小时;测试环氧当量为1100~1150时,降温至100℃左右;加入丙二醇正丁醚和丙二醇苯醚,随后加入N-甲基单乙醇胺,于100℃保温1小时;加入酮亚胺,于110℃保温2小时;加入封闭异氰酸酯交联剂,于120℃恒温搅拌0.5小时;降温至90℃以下,加入冰醋酸,于80℃保温0.5小时,得到预分散树脂;向另一个反应容器中加入去离子水,在搅拌状态下加入上述预分散树脂,控制转速为1200rpm,分散均匀后,得到乳液,备用。
实施例2:制备硫鎓盐型分散树脂。
(1)准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:174份2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯(分子量174g/mol)、200份聚醚204(平均分子量400g/mol)、90份甲基异丁基酮、130份异辛醇(分子量130g/mol);
如图1所示,在氮气保护下,向带有搅拌器、循环冷却水和高位槽的四口瓶中加入2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯,控制转速为400rpm;滴加聚醚204,同时开启冷却循环水,3小时滴加完毕,于30℃保温2小时;滴加异辛醇,2小时滴加完毕,于30℃保温3小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯(图1和图4中的X组分),备用。
(2)准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:174份2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯(分子量174g/mol)、107份2-乙硫基乙醇(分子量107g/mol)、15份甲基异丁基酮;
如图2所示,在氮气保护下,向带有搅拌器、循环冷却水和高位槽的四口瓶中加入2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯,控制转速为400rpm;滴加2-乙硫基乙醇(产自广东省茂名市茂名云龙工业发展有限公司,纯度为99wt%),同时开启冷却循环水,2小时滴加完毕,于30℃保温2小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯(图2和图4中的Y组分),备用。
(3)准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:174份2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯(分子量174g/mol)、130份异辛醇(分子量130g/mol)、38份甲基异丁基酮;
如图3所示,在氮气保护下,向带有搅拌器、循环冷却水和高位槽的四口瓶中加入2,4-甲苯二异氰酸酯,控制转速为400rpm;滴加异辛醇,同时开启冷却循环水,2小时滴加完毕,于30℃保温2小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯(图3和图4中的Z组分),备用。
(4)准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:443份环氧树脂828、2份甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂、157份双酚A、44份壬基酚、20份二甲苯、35份步骤(1)中制备的半封闭异氰酸酯、68份步骤(2)中制备的半封闭异氰酸酯、100份步骤(3)中制备的半封闭异氰酸酯、147份硫二甘醇、48份冰醋酸、20份去离子水(1)、344份丙二醇丁醚、200份去离子水(2);
如图4所示,向带有抽真空装置、搅拌装置、循环冷却水和高位槽的四口瓶中加入环氧树脂828、双酚A、壬基酚和二甲苯,加热至100℃左右,控制转速为400rpm;待全部融化并混合均匀后,加入甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂,于140℃保温2小时,降温至100℃左右,保温1小时;加入步骤(1)至(3)中制备的三种半封闭的异氰酸酯(X组分、Y组分和Z组分),于110℃保温2小时后降温至65℃左右;测定反应产物中的NCO值小于5‰,判定接枝完全;加入硫二甘醇(产自广东省茂名市茂名云龙工业发展有限公司,纯度为99wt%)、冰醋酸和去离子水(1),于70℃保温4小时,加入去离子水(2)稀释,混合均匀后,得到阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂。测定最终产物的酸值为1~3mgKOH/g,判断反应完全,得到预期产物。
实施例3:制备阴极电泳涂料B组分——色浆。
准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:314份实施例2中制备的硫鎓盐型分散树脂、460份去离子水、260份瓷土、40份炭黑、8份氧化铋和1份Surfynol104E型润湿剂(产自美国空气化工产品有限公司);
向带有高速搅拌装置的反应容器中加入去离子水,控制转速为1200rpm左右;加入硫鎓盐型分散树脂并分散均匀;加入瓷土、炭黑、氧化铋和Surfynol 104E型润湿剂并混合均匀;采用高速研磨机研磨,控制转速为3000rpm左右,研磨2小时,直至细度小于20微米,得到色浆,备用。
实施例4:制备阴极电泳涂料工作液。
准备以重量份计的下述各个组分:400份实施例1中制备的乳液、67份实施例3中制备的色浆、500份去离子水;
将去离子水加入乳液中,搅拌均匀后加入色浆,混合均匀后熟化4小时,然后进行电泳作业,具体参数如下:施工电压为140V,电泳时间为2分钟,烘烤温度为140℃。
实施例5:阴极电泳涂料的性能测试。
在相同操作条件下,将分别由硫鎓盐型分散树脂和季铵盐型分散树脂制备的阴极电泳涂料进行耐盐雾性能、抗再溶性能力和光泽方面的性能对比,其中耐盐雾性能测试按照《GB/T1771-2007色漆和清漆耐中性盐雾性能的测定》中记载的方法进行,抗再溶性能力测试按照《HG/T 3952-2007阴极电泳涂料》中记载的方法进行,光泽测试按照《GB/T 9754-2007色漆和清漆不含金属颜料的色漆漆膜的20°、60°和85°镜面光泽的测定》中记载的方法进行,其结果如表1所示。

由表1可知,采用本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂,能够提高涂层的耐腐蚀能力和抗再溶性能力;另外,本发明的硫鎓盐型分散树脂拥有更低的玻璃化转变温度,流平性更好,能够提高涂层表面的光泽,改善外观属性。
Claims (9)
1.一种阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂的制备方法,其包括如下步骤:
1)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加聚醚类化合物,同时开启循环冷却装置,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;滴加醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述聚醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为2~3:1;所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为1.5~2:1;
2)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为0.5~1:1;
3)在惰性气体保护下,向带有搅拌装置和循环冷却装置的反应容器中加入异氰酸酯类化合物,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;滴加醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物,于20~40℃保温1~4小时;加入甲基异丁基酮,搅拌均匀后,得到醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,备用;
其中:所述异氰酸酯类化合物与所述醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物之间的摩尔比为0.5~1:1;
4)在惰性气体保护下,向带有加热装置和搅拌装置的反应容器中加入环氧树脂、双酚A、壬基酚和二甲苯,加热至100~110℃,控制搅拌装置的转速为300~600rpm;加入甲基三苯基碘化鏻催化剂,于130~140℃保温1~4小时,降温至100~110℃,保温1~2小时;滴加步骤1)中得到的小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯、步骤2)中得到的含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯和步骤3)中得到的醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯,于100~110℃保温1~3小时后降温至60~65℃;加入硫醚类化合物、质子酸和水,于65~75℃保温4~8小时,加入水稀释,混合均匀后,得到阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂;
其中:所述步骤1)中得到的小分子增稠剂半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为5~15:100;所述步骤2)中得到的含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为10~20:100;所述步骤3)中得到的醇类化合物或醇醚类化合物半封闭的异氰酸酯与所述环氧树脂之间的质量比为20~30:100。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述惰性气体包括氮气、氦气、氖气和氩气。
3.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述异氰酸酯类化合物包括甲苯二异氰酸酯、二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯、苯二亚甲基二异氰酸酯、六亚甲基二异氰酸酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯和二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯。
4.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述聚醚类化合物的平均分子量为200~2000。
5.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述醇类化合物包括异丙醇、正丁醇、叔丁醇、仲丁醇、正戊醇、叔戊醇和异辛醇;
所述醇醚类化合物包括乙二醇乙醚、乙二醇丁醚、丙二醇甲醚、丙二醇丁醚和二乙二醇丁醚。
6.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述含活泼氢的硫醚类化合物包括甲硫基苯甲醇、甲硫基苯酚、3-甲硫基-1-己醇、2-乙硫基乙醇、3-乙硫基丙醇、硫二甘醇、4,4'-二羟基二苯硫醚和2-巯基乙基硫醚。
7.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述环氧树脂包括双酚A型环氧树脂和双酚F型环氧树脂,其环氧当量为200~5000。
8.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:
所述硫醚类化合物包括二乙基硫醚、二丙基硫醚、二丁基硫醚、二苯硫醚、硫二甘醇、甲硫基苯甲醇、甲硫基苯酚、甲硫基苯甲酸、甲硫基苯乙酸、3-甲硫基-1-己醇、2-乙硫基乙醇、3-乙硫基丙醇、4,4'-二羟基二苯硫醚和2-巯基乙基硫醚;
所述质子酸包括甲酸、冰醋酸、氨基磺酸、硝酸、乳酸和2,2-二羟甲基丙酸;
所述水为去离子水。
9.一种阴极电泳涂料用硫鎓盐型分散树脂,其通过根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的制备方法制备。
