Description
本发明涉及提高无机过酸盐(过氧化物)对纺织品或诸如纸张、纤维素塞、毛发等其他产品漂白效率的方法。虽然以下的说明只提到过硼酸钠,但是本发明同样适用于漂白和洗涤领域中常用的其它无机过酸盐(或过氧化物),例如过氧化氢和碱金属的过碳酸盐、过硅酸盐、过焦磷酸盐等。优选的碱金属是Na、K和Li,特别是Na。
单独使用无机过酸盐(过氧化物)时,在等于或高于80℃的温度下可以观察到很高的活性。但是,在较低的温度例如40℃下,在不加活化剂时,过酸盐(过氧化物)的效率下降到很低的水平,从而损害了漂白效果(在通常的漂白浴条件下)。一类传统活化剂的代表是全乙酰化的糖类,例如五乙酰葡糖和八乙酰蔗糖。德国专利DE-A-1246658提到也可以用部分乙酰化的糖类,例如分子中有三个或更多乙酰基的二糖。
现已意外地发现,乙酰化程度不同的二糖,其性质很不相同,有的化合物表现出特别高的活性。
最概括地说,本发明涉及一种提高无机过酸盐(过氧化物)特别是过硼酸钠一水或四水合物的漂白效率的方法,其做法是,在所述过酸盐(或过氧化物)中加入一种含乙酰化蔗糖的活化剂,所述乙酰化蔗糖的平均乙酰化度在4.5至7.0之间,优选5.5至6.5。
本发明使用的部分乙酰化的蔗糖(以下也称为“SUPA”)可以用八乙酰蔗糖或平均乙酰化度高于7的蔗糖通过脱乙酰作用制得;另一种制法是,可以将蔗糖或平均乙酰化度低于4.5的蔗糖直接乙酰化。
对于后一作法(直接乙酰化),可以使用乙酸、乙酸酐、乙酰氯或乙烯酮作为乙酰化试剂,最好是有有机溶剂和/或催化剂及/或共沸剂(例如苯或乙酸异丁酯)存在;化学计量过量多少及温度是控制乙酰化度的最重要的参数。
另一方面,可以进行脱乙酰作用,例如通过与CH3ONa/CH3OH混合物的酯基转移作用、氧化铝催化脱乙酰作用(水解)、皂化作用(用氢氧化钠进行)、酶法或这些方法的组合。脱乙酰作用(或乙酰化作用)的产物实际上是乙酰化度不同的各种化合物的混合物,即使乙酰化度相同,这些化合物本身也是各种异构体的混合物。如果需要分布很窄,必须非常仔细地控制反应温度和反应物的比例。选择性液-液萃取法可以得到高度纯化并且在预定乙酰化度附近分布很窄的产物。平均乙酰化度可以用多种方法测定,例如核磁氢谱分析或皂化后滴定。不同方法的结果常在小数点后第一位有1到2个单位的误差。
本发明所用的部分乙酰化的蔗糖(SUPA)与其它的部分或完全乙酰化的糖类不同,其漂白效率等于或高于迄今所知的最好的活化剂,即TAED(四乙酰1,2-乙二胺),而所述TAED的制备相当复杂。与TAED相比,SUPA的优点还在于它可以从自然界回收,因而其来源可再生,而不是得自直接或间接从石油衍生的化合物。从更好保护环境的角度来看,这样会减少生态问题。
SUPA的数量越多(最高到与过硼酸盐成化学计量比),加到过酸盐(过氧化物)中的活化剂的漂白效率越高。这一与TEAD相同的特点,使得SUPA特别适于满足对漂白和/或洗涤组合物中活化剂数量的不断增长的需求,以达到不断提高漂白效果的目的。
SUPA可以原样直接加到含过酸盐(过氧化物)的组合物中,也可以预先与要用于漂白的过酸盐(过氧化物)混合。在粒状组合物的情形,SUPA可以以具有合适的力学特性和颗粒指数的颗粒形式加入。显然,含有SUPA和过酸盐(过氧化物)的漂白和/或洗涤组合物也可以含有其它常用组分,例如阴离子型、非离子型或两性型表面活性剂;中性盐(例如硫酸钠);碱金属盐(例如碳酸钠或三聚磷酸钠);沸石;羧甲基纤维素;香料;酶等。乙酰化蔗糖与过酸盐(过氧化物)的摩尔比通常在10∶90至50∶50之间。当过酸盐(过氧化物)是在低温下短时间使用时,最好增大SUPA的用量。
以下实施例仅用来举例说明,它们决不限制发明范围。实施例1中的SUPA(以下称作SUPA-M6)的平均乙酰化度是6.0±0.2,其制备方法如下(脱乙酰作用):
将1千克八乙酰蔗糖溶解在2.5升甲苯中,在搅拌下(室温下几分钟)与甲醇钠的甲醇溶液(浓度为1克/升)混合。在离子交换树脂(AMBERLYST I R120H+)上中和以后,用去离子水萃取水溶性的乙酰化蔗糖。减压浓缩水层,形成白色固体泡沫。有机层中含有乙酰化度最高的化合物,将它与新鲜的八乙酰蔗糖一起再循环到另一轮合成操作中。

实施例1
在以下条件下操作自动洗衣机(IGNIS):
60℃洗涤程序;
亚麻布投入量:每个洗涤周期3千克棉布样(干净白布);
每个洗涤周期都如表1所示将6克SUPA-M6加到下列洗涤组合物中(所有其它实施例中也用此组合物):
过硼酸钠四水合物 每次30克
洗涤剂基料(无磷、无漂白剂) 每次114克
所述洗涤剂基料含有:

加水至 100.0
为了测定漂白效率(漂白增效活性),在每个洗涤周期中将干净的亚麻布与2个样品(布样)一起洗涤,样布事先按European Institute of Sankt Gallen的标准方式(EMPA 114)用红葡萄酒染污。在每个洗涤周期结束时,将所述的两块样布干燥,熨平,然后用Elrepho-Zeiss反射计测定白度。所得的漂白百分数(漂白效率的量度)列在表1,它由下式确定:
漂白度(%)=(A-B)/(C-B)×100
其中:
A=样布在洗涤后的白度;
B=样布在洗涤前的白度;
C=完全漂白的样布白度;
样布的白度以MgO作为标准,用MgO白度的百分数表示,用6号滤光片(波长464纳米)测量。这样得到的漂白百分数(69.5%)与其它实施例的结果一起列在表1。
实施例2和3
如表1所示,将活化剂(SUPA-M6)的用量分别增加到每个洗涤周期12和18克,重复实施例1的操作,结果也列在表1。
实施例4至6(对照例)
用等量的完全乙酰化的蔗糖(M8)代替SUPA-M6,重复实施例1至3,结果列于表1。这些结果清楚地表明,与迄今为止的一般经验相反,蔗糖完全乙酰化使漂白效率急剧下降。
实施例7和8(对照例)
重复实施例1的操作,但用由乙酰化度不同的蔗糖构成的等量活化剂代替SUPA-M6,该活化剂也由八乙酰蔗糖经过脱乙酰作用得到。结果示于表2。
实施例9和10
重复实施例1的操作,但用等量(每个洗涤周期用6克)的两种部分乙酰化的蔗糖代替SUPA-M6,两种蔗糖的平均乙酰化度分别为5.5和6.2,其制备方法为:将蔗糖(10千克)的吡啶(150升)溶液在0℃和搅拌下用乙酸酐(16.5升)直接乙酰化6小时,随后中和,减压蒸发溶剂。数据和结果列在表3和图2。

Claims (9)
1、提高无机过酸盐或过氧化物漂白效率的方法,其作法是,在所述过酸盐(过氧化物)中加入一种含有乙酰化蔗糖的活化剂,所述乙酰化蔗糖的平均乙酰化度在4.5至7.0之间。
2、根据权利要求1的方法,其中乙酰化蔗糖由八乙酰蔗糖或平均乙酰化度高于7的部分乙酰化蔗糖经过脱乙酰作用制得。
3、根据权利要求1的方法,其中乙酰化蔗糖由蔗糖或平均乙酰化度低于4.5的部分乙酰化蔗糖经过直接乙酰化制得。
4、根据权利要求1至3中任何一项的方法,其中所述乙酰化度为5.5至6.5之间。
5、根据权利要求1至4中任何一项的方法,其中乙酰化蔗糖与过酸盐(过氧化物)的摩尔比为10∶90至50∶50。
6、根据权利要求1至5中任何一项的方法,其中过酸盐选自过硼酸钠单水合物、过硼酸钠四水合物以及它们的混合物。
7、根据权利要求1至6中任何一项的方法,其中将乙酰化蔗糖加到已含有所述过酸盐(过氧化物)的液体漂白和/或洗涤组合物中。
8、根据权利要求1至7中任何一项的方法,其中乙酰化蔗糖以颗粒形式使用。
9、漂白和/或洗涤组合物,其中含有一种无机过酸盐或过氧化物和一种活化剂,活化剂中含有平均乙酰化度为4.5至7.0的乙酰化蔗糖。
