Example one
To avoid the problem of increased operation cost and low operation efficiency caused by the fact that a user needs to complete the menu switching operation with both hands, an embodiment of the present invention provides a menu switching method, which is specifically shown in fig. 2 and is a flowchart of the method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, and the method may include the following steps:
step 201, obtaining operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal.
It should be noted that the terminal according to the embodiments of the present invention may include, but is not limited to, a Personal Computer (PC), a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a wireless handheld device, a Tablet Computer (Tablet Computer), a mobile phone, an MP3 player, an MP4 player, and the like, and the application opened in the terminal has at least two menus.
The edge touch provides touch input through the edge or the frame of the terminal, and the control of the mobile phone is realized by tracking the tap, the slide or the press of a finger on the edge of the terminal.
The edge touch area of the terminal can be an area which can be reached by the thumb of a user on the side surface of the terminal when the user naturally holds the terminal, and the side surface of the terminal is other four side surfaces except the front surface and the back surface.
In the embodiment of the invention, the edge touch area of the terminal can be realized by using a physical key, a virtual key, a sensor or a screen.
For example, if the terminal uses a curved screen, the edge touch area of the terminal may be implemented by using an edge screen of the curved screen. By taking a capacitive touch screen as an example for explanation, when a user touches the edge touch screen with a finger, the capacitance of the contact point changes, so that the frequency of an oscillator connected with the capacitance changes, the touch position can be determined by measuring the frequency change of the oscillator, and further, the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal can be acquired.
Alternatively, for another example, for a terminal that does not use a curved screen, the edge touch area thereof may be implemented by using a physical key, a virtual key, or a sensor. If a physical key for adjusting the volume exists on the edge of the terminal, the physical key for adjusting the volume in the terminal is taken as an example for explanation, when a user presses the physical key for adjusting the volume with a finger, the terminal can obtain whether the user presses the key for increasing the volume or the key for decreasing the volume, so that the operation information of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal is obtained; if a virtual key with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, taking the virtual key on the terminal as an example, and the virtual key is a capacitive virtual key, the terminal judges which virtual key the user touches through the capacitance of the capacitive virtual key, specifically, when the user touches the capacitive virtual key, a finger and an electrode plate in the capacitive virtual key form a capacitor, the terminal determines the position touched by the user through detecting the change of the capacitance, and then the terminal can determine which virtual key the user touches, and further can acquire the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal; if a sensor with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, taking the sensor on the terminal as an example, and the sensor is a pressure sensor, when a user presses the pressure sensor, semiconductor deformation pressure is formed on the surface of a sheet of the pressure sensor, the sheet is deformed by pressing to generate a piezoelectric impedance effect, so that the change of impedance is converted into an electric signal, and after the terminal obtains the electric signal, the pressing on which pressure sensor the user presses or the pressing on which position on the pressure sensor the user presses can be determined, so that the pressing on which pressure sensor with the function is performed by the user can be determined, and further, the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal can be acquired. Further, the sensor with certain function on the edge of the terminal can also be a light sensor.
Before obtaining operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal, the method further includes:
and detecting whether the terminal is in a horizontal screen state or a vertical screen state to obtain a detection result.
Specifically, because the handheld mode of the terminal in the landscape screen state and the handheld mode of the terminal in the portrait screen state are different, and thus the operation modes are different, it is necessary to determine whether the terminal is in the landscape screen state or the portrait screen state, when it is determined that the terminal is in the landscape screen display or the portrait screen display, the determination may be made by the size of the width and height of the screen display image, when the width of the image is greater than the height, the determination may be made by the terminal as the landscape screen display, when the width of the image is less than the height, the determination may be made by the gyroscope, the gyroscope may accurately acquire the rotation and deflection actions of the terminal, the gyroscope determines whether the terminal is in the landscape screen or the portrait screen by measuring the rotation and deflection of the terminal, and of course, the determination may be made by the gravity sensor, when a gravity block changes direction due to gravity, the piezoelectric crystal below the gravity block receives the change of the resistance, therefore, the direction of gravity is judged, and whether the terminal is a horizontal screen or a vertical screen is determined according to the direction of gravity.
And the detection result is in a horizontal screen state or a vertical screen state.
Acquiring operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal, wherein the operation information comprises:
and acquiring the operation information of the effective area of the user on the edge touch area of the terminal according to the detection result.
Specifically, the area that the user's finger can naturally reach when the terminal is in the horizontal screen state or the vertical screen state is different from the operation mode performed, so after the detection result is determined, the effective area on the edge touch area of the terminal device needs to be determined, and the purpose of menu switching can be realized only through the operation in the effective area.
For example: if the terminal uses the curved screen, when the edge touch area of the terminal uses the edge screen of the curved screen to acquire the operation information of the user, the effective area of the edge screen is the edge area of the screen which can be clicked or contacted by the thumb of the user when the user naturally holds the terminal; if a physical key for adjusting the volume exists on the edge of the terminal, when the operation information of a user is acquired in the edge touch area of the terminal by using the physical key for adjusting the volume, the effective area is the physical key for adjusting the volume; if a virtual key with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, when the virtual key is used for acquiring the operation information of a user in the edge touch area of the terminal, the effective area is the area where the virtual key is located; if a sensor with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, when the sensor is used in the edge touch area of the terminal to acquire the operation information of the user, the effective area is the area where the sensor is located.
When the screen display state is vertical screen display, the method further comprises: detecting the current handheld state of the user, wherein the handheld state comprises: a left-handed grip and a right-handed grip.
Specifically, when the vertical screen displays, the user may be held by a left-handed object or a right-handed object, and in different holding states, the areas that the user can touch when performing one-handed operation are different, such as: when the current hand-held state of the user is that the user holds the terminal by the left hand, the user can flexibly use the left thumb, and the left edge touch area of the terminal can be touched by the left thumb; when the current holding state of the user is right-handed holding, the user can flexibly use the right thumb, and what the right thumb can touch is the right edge touch area of the terminal, so that it is required to detect whether the user is currently left-handed holding or right-handed holding.
The invention aims to determine the current hand-held state of a user, and therefore, the methods for detecting the current hand-held state of the user belong to the protection scope of the invention.
If the current holding state of the user is detected to be left-handed holding, the effective area is the edge touch area on the left side of the terminal in the vertical screen state;
and if the current holding state of the user is detected to be right-handed holding, the effective area is the edge touch area on the right side of the terminal in the vertical screen state.
Specifically, the edge touch areas that the user can touch when holding the left hand and the right hand are different, and therefore the effective areas for holding the left hand and the right hand are different.
And if the screen display state is horizontal screen display, the effective area is an edge touch area on any one of the four side surfaces of the terminal.
Specifically, when the screen display state is the horizontal screen display state, the state that the user holds the device is special at this time, the user can hold the device with both hands, at this time, the user can touch four sides of the device, all the four sides of the terminal device can be effective areas, but in order to avoid extra menu switching caused by operation errors and misoperation caused by redundant operation, a side edge touch area in the four sides can be determined to be an effective area according to a preset effective area rule, and which side is specifically selected to be the effective area can be determined according to actual requirements.
The operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal comprises:
sliding operation of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal; or,
clicking operation of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal; or,
and the user presses the edge touch area of the terminal.
Specifically, since the edge touch area may be a side surface of the terminal, a screen edge, or some physical keys, when the edge touch area is a side surface of the terminal, a screen edge, the user may slide or press the edge touch area up and down, and press the edge touch area for the number of times to switch the menu, for example: when the edge touch area is the side of the terminal and the edge of the screen, and the edge touch area is divided into two partial areas, one partial area is switched to the previous menu, and the other partial area is switched to the next menu, wherein the previous menu and the next menu are determined according to the arrangement sequence of the menus, such as: current applications include: the menu 1, the menu 2, the menu 3 and the menu 4 are arranged in the following sequence: 1. the method comprises the steps that menus 1 and 2, menus 2 and 3, menus 3 and 4 and a menu 4 are adopted, the current menu of a user is a menu 2, the user wants to switch to the menu 1 or the menu 3, the edge touch area corresponding to the previous menu is switched to the menu 1 by clicking once, the edge touch area corresponding to the next menu is switched to the menu 2 by clicking once, if the user wants to switch to the menu 4, the user can switch by clicking twice the corresponding edge touch area, and the user can realize the purpose of switching the menus by pressing one of the areas according to the self requirement; when the edge touch area is some entity keys of the terminal, the user can switch the menu by clicking the entity keys, and the switching mode is consistent with the method, which is not described in detail herein.
Step 202, switching a menu in an application according to the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal.
Specifically, the user can switch the menu on the terminal by operating on the edge touch area of the terminal.
Switching a menu in an application according to operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal, specifically comprising:
detecting whether the operation information is a designated operation for switching menus;
and if the operation information is detected to be the appointed operation of menu switching, switching the menu in the application according to a preset menu switching rule and the operation information.
Specifically, the operation of specifying menu switching is to determine whether the user's operation in the effective area can trigger switching of the menu. If the specified operation of menu switching is upward sliding and downward sliding in the effective area, after the terminal acquires the operation information, judging whether the operation is upward sliding or downward sliding, and if the operation information is upward sliding or downward sliding, the device can determine how to switch the menu according to the sliding direction, such as: switching the current menu 1 to the menu 2, and switching according to a preset menu switching rule when switching the menu, wherein if the preset menu switching rule is as follows: switching to the previous menu when sliding upwards along the edge touch area; and switching to the next menu when sliding downwards along the edge touch area, switching to the previous menu if the acquired operation information is sliding upwards, and switching to the next menu if the acquired operation information is sliding downwards. The specific preset menu switching rule can be determined according to actual needs.
When the menu is switched, if the operation is switched to the previous menu, if the previous menu is not available, the switching is not performed, and if the operation is switched to the next menu, if the next menu is not available, the switching is not performed.
The specific operation may include a pressing operation, a sliding operation, and a clicking operation, the operation information includes a pressed, clicked, or slid region, if the operation information is a pressed or clicked region, the operation information further includes the number of times of pressing or clicking, the preset menu switching rule may be switching according to the pressed, clicked, or slid region and according to a preset menu sequence, or may be switching according to a preset number of times of clicking and a corresponding relationship of the menu, for example: the menu 1 needs to be clicked or pressed for 1 time, the menu 2 needs to be clicked or pressed for 2 times continuously, the menu 3 needs to be clicked or pressed for 3 times, the menu 4 needs to be clicked or pressed for 4 times continuously, and different menus can be switched through the number of times of continuous clicking; in the embodiment of the present invention, different menus may also be mapped to different areas, for example: the menu 1 corresponds to the edge touch area 1, the menu 2 corresponds to the edge touch area 2, the menu 3 corresponds to the edge touch area 3, the menu 4 corresponds to the edge touch area 4, and switching of the menus is achieved by clicking different edge touch areas. The embodiment of the present invention aims to implement menu switching according to edge touch, so all menus switched according to edge touch and switching rules belong to the protection scope of the embodiment of the present invention.
After the switching is completed, the terminal can switch the menu back to the original menu according to the preset menu switching rule and the operation information, and can also switch the menu back to the original menu according to a specific operation mode.
In the embodiment of the invention, the operation information of a user in the edge touch area of the terminal is acquired; and switching the menu in the application according to the acquired operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal.
