As shown in fig. 1, when the function is to be adjusted in the prior art, the control key corresponding to the function needs to be clicked or slid by hand, for example: when the mobile phone needs to be adjusted to be in a mute state, the user needs to click the control key corresponding to the function to achieve the function of starting the mute state, and when the function does not need to be changed, the user needs to click the control key corresponding to the function to achieve the function of closing the mute state; when the telephone ring needs to be changed, a user needs to click to enter a ring library and find the ring needed to be used by sliding a screen, but as the mobile phone screen is larger and larger, the user needs to operate with both hands when controlling the functions, so that the operation cost is increased, and the operation efficiency is lower.
Example one
In order to enable a user to control a function through one-handed operation, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling a function, which is specifically shown in fig. 2, and is a flowchart of the method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, where the method includes the following steps:
step 201, obtaining operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal.
It should be noted that the terminal according to the embodiments of the present invention may include, but is not limited to, a Personal Computer (PC), a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a wireless handheld device, a Tablet Computer (Tablet Computer), a mobile phone, an MP3 player, an MP4 player, and the like, and the terminal has at least two functions.
The edge touch provides touch input through the edge or the frame of the terminal, and the control of the mobile phone is realized by tracking the tap, the slide or the press of a finger on the edge of the terminal.
The edge touch area of the terminal can be an area which can be reached by the thumb of a user on the side surface of the terminal when the user naturally holds the terminal, and the side surface of the terminal is other four side surfaces except the front surface and the back surface.
In the embodiment of the invention, the edge touch area of the terminal can be realized by using a physical key, a virtual key, a sensor or a screen.
For example, if the terminal uses a curved screen, the edge touch area of the terminal may be implemented by using an edge screen of the curved screen. By taking a capacitive touch screen as an example for explanation, when a user touches the edge touch screen with a finger, the capacitance of the contact point changes, so that the frequency of an oscillator connected with the capacitance changes, the touch position can be determined by measuring the frequency change of the oscillator, and further, the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal can be acquired.
Alternatively, for another example, for a terminal that does not use a curved screen, the edge touch area thereof may be implemented by using a physical key, a virtual key, or a sensor. If a physical key for controlling the volume exists on the edge of the terminal, the physical key for controlling the volume in the terminal is taken as an example for explanation, when a user presses the physical key for controlling the volume with a finger, the terminal can obtain whether the user presses the key for increasing the volume or presses the key for decreasing the volume, so that the operation information of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal is obtained; if a virtual key with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, taking the virtual key on the terminal as an example, and the virtual key is a capacitive virtual key, the terminal judges which virtual key the user touches through the capacitance of the capacitive virtual key, specifically, when the user touches the capacitive virtual key, a finger and an electrode plate in the capacitive virtual key form a capacitor, the terminal determines the position touched by the user through detecting the change of the capacitance, and then the terminal can determine which virtual key the user touches, and further can acquire the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal; if a sensor with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, taking the sensor on the terminal as an example, and the sensor is a pressure sensor, when a user presses the pressure sensor, semiconductor deformation pressure is formed on the surface of a sheet of the pressure sensor, the sheet is deformed by pressing to generate a piezoelectric impedance effect, so that the change of impedance is converted into an electric signal, and after the terminal obtains the electric signal, the pressing on which pressure sensor the user presses or the pressing on which position on the pressure sensor the user presses can be determined, so that the pressing on which pressure sensor with the function is performed by the user can be determined, and further, the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal can be acquired. Further, the sensor with certain function on the edge of the terminal can also be a light sensor.
Before obtaining operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal, the method further includes:
and detecting whether the terminal is in a horizontal screen state or a vertical screen state to obtain a detection result.
Specifically, because the handheld mode of the terminal in the landscape screen state and the handheld mode of the terminal in the portrait screen state are different, and thus the operation modes are different, it is necessary to determine whether the terminal is in the landscape screen state or the portrait screen state, when it is determined that the terminal is in the landscape screen display or the portrait screen display, the determination may be made by the size of the width and height of the screen display image, when the width of the image is greater than the height, the determination may be made by the terminal as the landscape screen display, when the width of the image is less than the height, the determination may be made by the gyroscope, the gyroscope may accurately acquire the rotation and deflection actions of the terminal, the gyroscope determines whether the terminal is in the landscape screen or the portrait screen by measuring the rotation and deflection of the terminal, and of course, the determination may be made by the gravity sensor, when a gravity block changes direction due to gravity, the piezoelectric crystal below the gravity block receives the change of the resistance, therefore, the direction of gravity is judged, and whether the terminal is a horizontal screen or a vertical screen is determined according to the direction of gravity.
And the detection result is in a horizontal screen state or a vertical screen state.
Acquiring operation information of a user in an edge touch area of the terminal, wherein the operation information comprises:
and acquiring the operation information of the effective area of the user on the edge touch area of the terminal according to the detection result.
Specifically, the area that the user's finger can naturally reach when the terminal is in the horizontal screen state or the vertical screen state is different from the operation mode performed, so after the detection result is determined, the effective area on the edge touch area of the terminal device needs to be determined, and the purpose of function control can be achieved only through operation in the effective area.
For example: if the terminal uses the curved screen, when the edge touch area of the terminal uses the edge screen of the curved screen to acquire the operation information of the user, the effective area of the edge screen is the edge area of the screen which can be clicked or contacted by the thumb of the user when the user naturally holds the terminal; if a physical key for controlling the volume exists on the edge of the terminal, when the operation information of a user is acquired in an edge touch area of the terminal by using the physical key for controlling the volume, the effective area is the physical key for controlling the volume; if a virtual key with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, when the virtual key is used for acquiring the operation information of a user in the edge touch area of the terminal, the effective area is the area where the virtual key is located; if a sensor with a certain function exists on the edge of the terminal, when the sensor is used in the edge touch area of the terminal to acquire the operation information of the user, the effective area is the area where the sensor is located.
When the screen display state is vertical screen display, the method further comprises: detecting the current handheld state of the user, wherein the handheld state comprises: a left-handed grip and a right-handed grip.
Specifically, when the vertical screen displays, the user may be held by a left-handed object or a right-handed object, and in different holding states, the areas that the user can touch when performing one-handed operation are different, such as: when the current hand-held state of the user is that the user holds the terminal by the left hand, the user can flexibly use the left thumb, and the left edge touch area of the terminal can be touched by the left thumb; when the current holding state of the user is right-handed holding, the user can flexibly use the right thumb, and what the right thumb can touch is the right edge touch area of the terminal, so that it is required to detect whether the user is currently left-handed holding or right-handed holding.
The invention aims to determine the current hand-held state of a user, and therefore, the methods for detecting the current hand-held state of the user belong to the protection scope of the invention.
If the current holding state of the user is detected to be left-handed holding, the effective area is the edge touch area on the left side of the terminal in the vertical screen state;
and if the current holding state of the user is detected to be right-handed holding, the effective area is the edge touch area on the right side of the terminal in the vertical screen state.
Specifically, the edge touch areas that the user can touch when holding the left hand and the right hand are different, and therefore the effective areas for holding the left hand and the right hand are different.
And if the screen display state is horizontal screen display, the effective area is an edge touch area on any one of the four side surfaces of the terminal.
Specifically, when the screen display state is the horizontal screen display state, the state that the user holds the device is special at this time, the user can hold the device with both hands, at this time, the user can touch four sides of the device, all the four sides of the terminal device can be effective areas, but in order to avoid extra operation errors and extra function control caused by misoperation, a side edge touch area in the four sides can be determined to be an effective area according to a preset effective area rule, and specifically which side is selected to be the effective area can be determined according to actual requirements.
The operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal comprises:
sliding operation of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal; or,
clicking operation of the user in an edge touch area of the terminal; or,
and the user presses the edge touch area of the terminal.
Specifically, since the edge touch area may be a side surface of the terminal, a screen edge, or some physical key, when the edge touch area is a side surface of the terminal or a screen edge, the user may slide or press the edge touch area up and down to control the function, for example: when the edge touch area is the side surface of the terminal and the edge of the screen, and the edge touch area is divided into two partial areas, one partial area is used for opening the function, and the other partial area is used for closing the function, taking the vibration function in mute shown in fig. 1 as an example, if a user wants to open the current function, the user clicks the area in which the function is opened to achieve the purpose of opening the function; if the user wants to close the current function, the user clicks the area for closing the function to realize the purpose of opening and closing the function. The edge touch area is divided into two areas, one of which is used for adjusting the function up or selecting the function up, and the other is used for adjusting the function down or selecting the function down, such as: the function is ring volume or telephone ring, if the user wants to turn the ring volume up or turn other rings in the telephone ring, the ring volume of the telephone is turned up by clicking the area with the function turned up, or other rings which are more advanced than the current ring arrangement sequence are selected by clicking the area for selecting the ring upwards; if the user wants to turn down the volume of the ring tone or other ring tones in the telephone ring tone, the telephone ring tone is turned down by clicking the area where the function is turned down, or other ring tones behind the current ring tone arrangement order are selected by clicking the area where the ring tone is selected downward.
The control of the functions further includes switching the functions, and further, the operation information shown in fig. 1 further includes switching the functions such as media volume, alarm volume, ring volume, vibration during mute, phone ring, etc., that is, switching the functions by clicking, sliding, or pressing the edge touch area of the terminal, for example: the function of controlling at present is the media volume, when needs are controlled the alarm clock volume, realizes the switching of function through clicking marginal touch area to slide operation, click operation and press the operation can realize the control to the function through the mode that combines, for example: when the function switching is realized through the clicking operation or the pressing operation, the function adjustment is carried out through the sliding operation, such as: the invention aims to realize the control of the function through edge touch, and therefore all methods for realizing the control of the function through the edge touch belong to the protection scope of the embodiment of the invention.
The switching of the functions may be a single edge control area, the edge control area is used for realizing the switching of the functions, the switching of the functions includes switching the functions up and down or switching the functions left and right, the switching is performed according to the sequence of the functions during the switching, and the sequence of the functions may be arranged in a manner of combining from top to bottom, from left to right, and from top to bottom and from left to right.
Selecting different functions may also be achieved by clicking areas corresponding to the corresponding functions to achieve switching, that is, different functions correspond to different edge touch areas, and switching to the corresponding functions is achieved by clicking different edge touch areas, for example: there are currently 3 functions: media volume, alarm clock volume, ring volume, the marginal touch-control area that corresponds respectively is: the method comprises the steps that a current control function is media volume, if a user wants to control the alarm clock volume or the ring volume, the edge touch area 2 or the edge touch area 3 is clicked to switch to the alarm clock volume or the ring volume, and after the alarm clock volume or the ring volume is switched, the edge touch area with the function is clicked to adjust the alarm clock volume or the ring volume correspondingly.
The purpose of the embodiment of the present invention is to realize control over a function through edge touch, and therefore, all methods for realizing control over a function through edge touch and methods for realizing control over a function through a combination of different edge touch areas both belong to the protection scope of the embodiment of the present invention.
Step 202, controlling the functions on the terminal according to the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal.
Specifically, the user can control the functions on the terminal by operating on the edge touch area of the terminal.
Controlling the functions on the terminal according to the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal, which specifically comprises:
detecting whether the operation information is a designated operation of function control;
and if the operation information is detected to be the designated operation of function control, controlling the functions on the terminal according to a preset function control rule and the operation information.
Specifically, the specifying operation of the function control is control for judging whether or not the operation by the user in the effective area can trigger the function. If the designated operation of function control is sliding up and down in the effective area, after the terminal acquires the operation information, it is determined whether the operation is sliding up or down, and if the operation information is sliding up or down, the device can determine how to control the function according to the sliding direction, such as: turning up or turning down the volume of the ring tone, controlling the function according to a preset function control rule, if the preset function control rule is that: turning up the volume of the ring when the edge touch area slides upwards; and turning down the volume of the ring when the edge touch area slides downwards, turning up the volume of the ring if the acquired operation information is upwards sliding, and turning down the volume of the ring if the acquired operation information is downwards sliding. The preset function control rules also include function switching, and if the preset function control rules are as follows: switching the function to the function with the front arrangement sequence when sliding upwards along the edge touch area; when the function is switched to the function behind the arrangement sequence when the edge touch area slides downwards, if the acquired operation information is upwards sliding, the function is switched to the function ahead of the arrangement sequence, and if the acquired operation information is downwards sliding, the function is switched to the function behind the arrangement sequence. The specific preset function control rule can be determined according to actual needs.
When the function control is performed, if the operation is performed to switch to the function in the front of the ranking order, if the function in the front of the ranking order is not performed, the switching is not performed, and if the operation is performed to switch to the function in the back of the ranking order, if the function in the back of the ranking order is not performed, the switching is not performed.
The designated operation can include a pressing operation, a sliding operation and a clicking operation, the operation information includes a pressed, clicked or slid area, and the preset function control rule is that the preset function control mode is controlled according to the pressed, clicked or slid area.
After the control is completed, the terminal can control the functions back to the original functions according to the preset function control rules and the operation information, and can also control the functions back to the original functions according to a specific operation mode.
In the embodiment of the invention, the operation information of a user in the edge touch area of the terminal is acquired; and controlling the functions on the terminal according to the operation information of the user in the edge touch area of the terminal. The invention realizes the purpose of controlling the functions by one-hand operation, facilitates the operation of the user, reduces the operation cost of the user and improves the operation efficiency.
