Abstract
本发明是属于水性涂料领域,它是一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液。该树脂乳液由丙烯酸树脂水分散体(固含量28‑34%)13‑16份,乙烯基单体18‑21份,丙烯酸及酯类单体20.5‑27.6份,引发剂0.3‑0.6份,有机溶剂5‑6份,水49‑53份通过反应而得。所发明的微凝胶树脂乳液添加到水性涂料中,可以明显改善漆膜的流挂性,具有良好的抗流挂效果,同时可以使得被覆样件的尖角或者边缘等不易涂覆上漆的地方的漆膜膜厚明显较之前增加,提高了对涂布件表面的耐腐蚀性。而该发明生产出粒径小于150nm的纳米级水性丙烯酸乳液,加入水性涂料不会使涂料增稠,有利于保持较高的施工固含量。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液及其制备方法,属于水性涂料领域。
背景技术
水性涂料是以水代替溶剂的,可以在很大程度上减少VOC的排放,从溶剂型漆的70%左右降低到15%以下,其环境可接受性大大高于溶剂型的涂料,并且节约石油资源,减少火灾隐患,改善操作环境。
而水性涂料的抗流挂性能是其施工和成膜过程中一个非常重要的性能,如果该性能差,会导致涂料在物件表面成膜的美观性和连续性,造成涂料防护和美观性能的失败。目前改善水性漆抗流挂性的主要有添加各种类型的增稠剂,改变水性漆的流变特性,但是会产生以下副作用:在施工过程中要加入更多量的水以降低体系粘度,因而降低涂料的施工固含;另外由于增稠剂的亲水特性,会也降低涂膜的耐水性;增稠剂的加入会导致光泽降低,降低涂膜的美观性等等。
本专利目的在于改善水性涂料在施工中的抗流挂问题,同时对施工工件的尖角及边缘等涂料不容易涂布(没有漆膜或涂膜厚度会比其他部位薄)的部位,能够很好的涂覆完整连续的漆膜,进而实现更好的保护和装饰效果;另外,该树脂是水性丙烯酸体系,具有一定的耐候性。
本发明采用的技术为微凝胶技术,早在1934年微凝胶就由Staudinger等人合成。Funke在微凝胶,特别是在反应性微凝胶方面做了大量理论和实验工作,用二乙烯基苯或乙二醇二甲基丙烯酸酯的多官能单体进行乳液聚合,制成活性微凝胶,并给出了微凝胶的定义。之后人们经过多年的探索与研究,对微凝胶及其在涂料中的功能和相互作用机理有了更深刻的认识,并把微凝胶的定义修正为凡凝胶颗粒大小在1~1000nm之间,具有分子内交联结构的颗粒都称为微凝胶。微凝胶(又称微胶)是一种正在发展的新型功能性聚合物,在改善漆膜流挂性和机械性能方面具有显著的优势,因此得到了越来越广泛的应用。
发明内容
本发明是属于水性涂料领域,是一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液。
该树脂乳液由原材料单体进行聚合反应得到的网状微凝胶水性树脂,固含量可以达到36%,粒径低于150nm。
本发明由丙烯酸树脂水分散体(固含量28-34%)13-16份,乙烯基单体18-21份,丙烯酸及酯类单体20.5-27.6份,引发剂0.3-0.6份,有机溶剂5-6份,水49-53份通过反应而得。
所用丙烯酸树脂水分散体为数均分子量(Mn)5000-8000,分子量分布(Mz/Mw)为2.1~2.8,酸值为42-54mgKOH/g(对固体)的丙烯酸树脂,加入与树脂质量比为1:0.03-0.08的胺类物质(例如N,N-二甲基乙醇胺等)中和后加水乳化制成,该水分散体固含量为28-34%,pH为7.0-8.2。
所述乙烯基单体为苯乙烯、乙烯腈、苯二乙烯中的一种或几种;
所述丙烯酸及酯类单体为丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸及(甲基)丙烯酸正丁酯,甲基丙烯酸甲酯,(甲基)丙烯酸羟乙酯,甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯,(甲基)丙烯酸羟丙酯,丙氧基化新戊二醇二丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸缩水甘油酯中的一种或几种;
所述引发剂为偶氮二异丁腈,以过硫酸钾为氧化剂,以亚硫酸氢钠为还原剂的氧化还原引发体系、以过氧化苯甲酰为氧化剂,以N,N-二甲基苯胺为还原剂的氧化还原引发体系中的一种或两种;
所述溶剂是N-甲基吡咯烷酮、乙二醇单丁醚,丁醇,二乙二醇丁醚,丙二醇丁醚,二丙二醇丁醚,丙二醇甲醚,异丙醇,仲丁醇,乙醇等水溶性醇醚类溶剂中的一种或几种;
该微凝胶树脂乳液由丙烯酸树脂水分散体(固含量28-34%)13-16份,乙烯基单体18-21份,丙烯酸正丁酯3-5份,甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯0.6-0.7份,甲基丙烯酸甲酯16.9-18.9份,丙氧基化新戊二醇而丙烯酸酯0-3份,偶氮二异丁腈0.3-0.6份,有机溶剂5-6份,水49-53份通过反应而得。
一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:在四口瓶中投入纯水26-36份,丙烯酸水分散体2.5-4.5份,开启搅拌并升温;同时将纯水23-27份,丙烯酸水分散体8.5-13.5份与丙烯酸及其酯类单体20.5-27.5份、乙烯基单体18-21份搅拌混合均匀作为乳化单体混合物组分;将引发剂0.3-0.6份与溶剂5-6份搅拌混合均匀作为引发剂组分备用。升温至80℃±2℃并保持,在此温度下用两个滴液漏斗同时、分别向四口瓶中均匀滴加乳化单体混合物组分与引发剂组分,4-6hr二者同时滴加完毕,保温1hr降温出料,即得微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液。
技术效果
1、将该发明得到的乳液用在金汇利ZA72-4W中,未加入和加入0.3-0.6%时的抗流挂效果对比,未加该产品的在膜厚为175um时发生流挂,而加入该发明乳液的漆膜中膜厚达到225um未发生流挂现象。
2、对被涂覆物件的尖角的保护作用,在刀刃处分别涂布未加和加过该发明得到树脂乳液的涂料,干燥成膜后放在盐雾池中进行耐候性试验,通过对比,涂布未加本发明树脂乳液的涂料由于边缘涂膜不完整,2hr后即发生刀刃处生锈的现象,而加过该发明树脂乳液的刀刃几乎没有任何变化。
根据现象可以看出,所发明的微凝胶树脂乳液添加到水性涂料中,可以明显改善漆膜的流挂性。由于良好的抗流挂效果,因而使得被覆样件的尖角或者边缘处的漆膜涂覆膜厚明显较之前增加。减少了流挂的浪费,降低成本;同时也保护涂布件表面不受腐蚀。
此种树脂采用无皂乳液聚合(没有乳化剂、不影响涂膜耐水性、不降低涂膜光泽)的方法生产出粒径小于150nm的纳米级水性丙烯酸乳液,本发明树脂乳液的加入不会使水性涂料增稠,有利于保持较高的施工固含。

本发明所使用的实验设备为恒温水浴锅,四口瓶,滴液漏斗,球形冷凝器,在四口瓶中投入纯水(1),丙烯酸水分散体(1),开启搅拌并升温;同时将纯水(2),丙烯酸水分散体(2)与全部丙烯酸单体、乙烯基单体搅拌混合均匀作为乳化单体混合物组分;将引发剂与溶剂搅拌混合均匀作为引发剂组分备用。升温至80℃±2℃并保持.在此温度下用两个滴液漏斗同时、分别向四口瓶中滴加乳化单体混合物组分与引发剂组分,4-6hr二者同时滴加完毕,保温1hr降温出料。三个配方得到的树脂的技术指标为

Claims (5)
1.一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:在四口瓶中投入纯水26-36份,丙烯酸水分散体2.5-4.5份,开启搅拌并升温;同时将纯水23-27份,丙烯酸水分散体8.5-13.5份,丙烯酸及其酯类单体20.5-27.5份,乙烯基单体18-21份搅拌混合均匀作为乳化单体混合物组分;将引发剂0.3-0.6份与溶剂5-6份搅拌混合均匀作为引发剂组分,备用;升温至80℃±2℃并保持,在此温度下用两个滴液漏斗同时、分别向四口瓶中均匀滴加乳化单体混合物组分与引发剂组分,4-6hr二者同时滴加完毕,保温1hr降温出料,即得微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液;微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的粒径低于150nm;丙烯酸树脂水分散体为数均分子量5000-8000、分子量分布Mn/Mw为2.1-2.8、对固体的酸值为42-54mgKOH/g的丙烯酸树脂,加入与丙烯酸树脂质量比为1:0.03-0.08的胺类物质中和后加水乳化制成,为固含量为28-34%、pH为7.0-8.2的水分散体。
2.如权利要求1所述的一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:乙烯基单体为苯乙烯,乙烯腈,苯二乙烯中的一种或几种。
3.如权利要求1所述的一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:所述丙烯酸及其酯类单体为丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸,(甲基)丙烯酸正丁酯,甲基丙烯酸甲酯,(甲基)丙烯酸羟乙酯,甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯,(甲基)丙烯酸羟丙酯,丙氧基化新戊二醇二丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸缩水甘油酯中的一种或几种。
4.如权利要求1所述的一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:所述引发剂为偶氮二异丁腈,以过硫酸钾为氧化剂、以亚硫酸氢钠为还原剂的氧化还原引发体系,以过氧化苯甲酰为氧化剂、以N,N-二甲基苯胺为还原剂的氧化还原引发体系中的一种或两种。
5.如权利要求1所述的一种微凝胶水性丙烯酸壳核树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于:所述溶剂为N-甲基吡咯烷酮,乙二醇单丁醚,丁醇,二乙二醇丁醚,丙二醇丁醚,二丙二醇丁醚,丙二醇甲醚,异丙醇,仲丁醇,乙醇中的一种或几种。
