Abstract
本发明提供一种显示装置及其反射式显示面板,该反射式显示面板包括上基板单元、下基板单元、液晶层、镜面反射层以及彩膜偏光片单元,下基板单元与上基板单元相对设置;液晶层设于上基板单元和下基板单元之间;镜面反射层设于下基板单元内侧;彩膜偏光片单元设于上基板单元外侧,外界光线通过镜面反射层反射并通过彩膜偏光片单元产生漫反射效果。本发明提供的反射式显示面板通过下基板单元内侧的镜面反射层和上基板单元外侧的彩膜偏光片单元的共同作用,对光线产生漫反射效果,保证观看者能在各个视角都能观看到均匀的反射效果。该方法相对于现有技术,节省了光罩费用,简化了制作工艺,避免了缺陷的发生,提升了反射显示的效果。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别涉及一种显示装置及其反射式显示面板。
背景技术
如图1所示,液晶显示器面板一般由彩膜基板(CF基板)10和阵列基板(TFT基板)20对盒形成,两个基板之间的空间中封装有液晶层(LC)。
由于液晶分子自身不发光,所以显示面板需要光源以便显示图像,根据采用光源类型的不同,液晶显示器可分为透射式、反射式和透反式。
反射式液晶显示面板主要是以前置光源或者外界光源作为光源,其阵列基板采用金属或者其他具有良好反射特性材料的反射电极作为反射区,适于将前置光源或者外界光源的光线反射;反射式液晶显示面板的优点是能利用外部光源,功耗相对较低。
在现有技术的反射式液晶显示器中,为了使观看者能在各个视角都能观看到均匀的反射效果,反射层30需要设计为漫反射的反射方式,所以现有技术的反射层设计为凹凸表面的微结构,来实现漫反射。
其具体的制作方法为:先在反射区制作一层树脂层基底,再使用光罩(Mask)进行曝光、显影、刻蚀等阵列制程在树脂层基底上形成凹凸表面的微结构,该工序需要增加一道光罩,然后在凹凸表面的微结构上,溅射金属层(银或铝)作为反射层30。
因此,现有技术制作凹凸表面微结构的反射层30工艺,需要增加额外的光罩费用,增加了制造成本;并且,在实际生产中,凹凸表面的微结构由于制造的精度限制,容易产生形态上的缺陷,影响漫反射的效果。故需要一种新的方法解决以上问题。
发明内容
本发明提供一种显示装置及其反射式显示面板,以解决现有技术中需要使用光罩在树脂层基底上形成凹凸表面的微结构导致成本高、效果不好的问题。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的一个技术方案是:提供一种反射式显示面板,包括:
上基板单元;
下基板单元,与所述上基板单元相对设置;
液晶层,设于所述上基板单元和所述下基板单元之间;
镜面反射层,设于所述下基板单元内侧;
彩膜偏光片单元,设于所述上基板单元外侧;
其中,外界光线通过所述镜面反射层反射并通过所述彩膜偏光片单元产生漫反射效果。
根据本发明一优选实施例,所述镜面反射层为金属层。
根据本发明一优选实施例,所述镜面反射层同时作为像素电极使用。
根据本发明一优选实施例,所述彩膜偏光片单元包括偏光片基底和散射层,所述散射层中加入有散射粒子。
根据本发明一优选实施例,所述金属层为铝或银。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的另一个技术方案是:提供一种显示装置,该显示装置包括背框模组和反射式显示面板,所述背框模组用于安装所述反射式显示面板,所述反射式显示面板包括:
上基板单元;
下基板单元,与所述上基板单元相对设置;
液晶层,设于所述上基板单元和所述下基板单元之间;
镜面反射层,设于所述下基板单元内侧;
彩膜偏光片单元,设于所述上基板单元外侧;
其中,外界光线通过所述镜面反射层反射并通过所述彩膜偏光片单元产生漫反射效果。
本发明的有益效果是:区别于现有技术的情况,本发明提供的反射式显示面板无需使用光罩形成凹凸表面的微结构,而是通过下基板单元内侧的镜面反射层和上基板单元外侧的彩膜偏光片单元的共同作用,对光线产生漫反射效果,保证观看者能在各个视角都能观看到均匀的反射效果。该方法相对于现有技术,节省了光罩费用,简化了制作工艺,避免了缺陷的发生,提升了反射显示的效果。

请参阅图2,图2是本发明优选实施例的反射式显示面板的简化结构示意图。
如图2所示,本发明提供一种反射式显示面板100,图2中由上至下依次为彩膜偏光片单元110、彩膜基板120、公共电极130、液晶层140、镜面反射层150以及TFT基板160。
其中,上基板单元包括层叠设置彩膜基板120和公共电极130,该彩膜基板120包括玻璃基板和阵列设于玻璃基板上的RGB三元色层,该公共电极130为面电极,优选采用透明性、导电性优良,蚀刻特性、可靠性好的透明导电ITO(indiumtinoxide,铟锡氧化物)膜。
下基板单元与所述上基板单元相对设置,包括TFT(ThinFilmTransistor,薄膜晶体管)基板160。该TFT基板160通过多次照相蚀刻技术(光刻技术)制成。
液晶层140包括多个液晶分子,以真空注入方式或滴下式注入法(onedropfilling,ODF)注入所述上基板单元和所述下基板单元之间,完成液晶材料注入之后,采用紫外线硬(固)化型密封剂填塞注入口。
镜面反射层150与所述下基板单元尺寸相同或相近,设于所述下基板单元外侧,外界光线经过所述上基板单元和所述下基板单元后通过所述镜面反射层150反射并通过彩膜偏光片单元110产生漫反射效果,其中,彩膜偏光片单元110与所述上基板单元尺寸相同或相近。
具体而言,所述镜面反射层150为金属层,表面为无凹凸微结构设计的平面,用于形成镜面反射。优选地,镜面反射层150同时作为像素电极使用,其中,像素电极为条状电极,通常采用透明性、导电性优良,蚀刻特性、可靠性好的透明导电ITO膜。
请一并参阅图3,图3是图2中所示的彩膜偏光片单元的简化结构示意图。
彩膜偏光片单元110包括偏光片基底114和散射层112,偏光片基底114和散射层112与所述下基板单元尺寸相同或相近,所述散射层112中加入有散射粒子,散射层112可以通过在普通偏光片最外层中加入散射粒子来实现。
请一并参阅图4,图4是本发明优选实施例的显示装置的简化结构示意图。
本发明还提供一种显示装置,该显示装置包括背框模组200和上述的反射式显示面板100,该背框模组200为一体式或拼接式,用于固定该显示面板100。
本发明中的上基板单元、下基板单元以及背框模组200以及其他必要的零部件可参考现有技术,由于不涉及发明点所在,本文中不作赘述。
综上所述,本领域技术人员容易理解,。本发明提供的反射式显示面板无需使用光罩形成凹凸表面的微结构,通过下基板单元内侧的镜面反射层150和上基板单元外侧的彩膜偏光片单元110的共同作用,对光线产生漫反射效果,保证观看者能在各个视角都能观看到均匀的反射效果。该方法相对于现有技术,节省了光罩费用,简化了制作工艺,避免了缺陷的发生,提升了反射显示的效果。

上基板单元;
下基板单元,与所述上基板单元相对设置;
液晶层,设于所述上基板单元和所述下基板单元之间;
镜面反射层,设于所述下基板单元内侧;
彩膜偏光片单元,设于所述上基板单元外侧;
其中,外界光线通过所述镜面反射层反射并通过所述彩膜偏光片单元产生漫反射效果。
2.根据权利要求1所述的反射式显示面板,其特征在于,所述镜面反射层为金属层。
3.根据权利要求2所述的反射式显示面板,其特征在于,所述镜面反射层同时作为像素电极使用。
4.根据权利要求3所述的反射式显示面板,其特征在于,所述彩膜偏光片单元包括偏光片基底和散射层,所述散射层中加入有散射粒子。
5.根据权利要求4所述的反射式显示面板,其特征在于,所述金属层为铝或银。
6.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括背框模组和反射式显示面板,所述背框模组用于安装所述反射式显示面板,所述反射式显示面板包括:
