Abstract

背景技术
所述类型的筒夹已经通过申请人作出几十年。筒夹被设计为抓住管并防止它在轴向上移动。然而,它们不会阻挡管旋转,因为筒夹本身可以典型地在连接器内旋转。在某些情况下,比如EP2400201中所公开,防止筒夹在其壳体内旋转。在此情况下,筒夹上的齿在管中简单地切割出圆周槽,允许其自由旋转。在很多情况下,管旋转的这种能力不是问题,且确实可为优势,因为其将作用于管上的扭曲应力保持为最小。
然而,在某些情形下,管不能在连接器内旋转会是有利的。比如,在切断阀中,特别是具有长的致动器柄的阀,如果阀的径向定向,则该阀将更为容易和更方便使用。这也会形成更加整洁的安装。
发明内容
本发明旨在提供所述类型的连接器,其中管不易于在连接器内旋转。
根据本发明,所述类型的连接器的特征在于还包括至少一个第一齿,所述第一齿在与垂直于所述轴线的平面成角度的平面中具有抓握边缘,且相对于所述主体被安装以绕所述主轴线不能旋转。
以这种方式成角度的齿,与常规的筒夹齿相比,更容易地能够抵制管的旋转。因为它成角度,所以齿比由典型的筒夹齿表示的“刀刃”来说具有更宽的面。
甚至在抓握边缘和垂直于轴线的平面之间小的角度都会引起对旋转的某种程度的抵制。然而,优选地,相对于垂直于轴线的平面来说,该角度在20°和70°之间,更优选地在30°和60°之间。
第一齿或每一个第一齿可在筒夹中,且筒夹相对于主体绕主轴线不能旋转。替代地,第一齿或者每一个第一齿可在与相对于主体绕主轴线不能旋转的筒夹不同的部件内。
齿可以定位在通道的非锥形部分内。然而,这会提供相对小的抓握力,或者可能在插入时过多地干涉管。因此,优选地,壳体具有锥形表面,其在轴向上为锥形,且定位成促使所述第一齿或每一个第一齿在其轴向移动到主体中时径向向内。这初始地允许用于管的插入的更大空间,但使第一齿或者每一个第一齿被径向向内驱使,因而增加了抓握力,且由此增加了对管的旋转的抵制。
在插入时管本身将第一齿或者每一个第一齿驱使到锥形表面上是可能的。然而,优选地,连接器还包括锁定环,其布置为在插入管后沿着主体前进,且这样使锥形表面促使第一齿径向向内。因此,管将在不受第一齿或者每一个第一齿的干涉下插入到适当的位置,于是锁定环可以移动到位,因而使第一齿或者每一个第一齿抓住管。
主体还设置有径向锥形表面,其定位为促使第一齿在其绕轴线被促使时径向向内。该径向锥形表面的本质是指,如果管并因此第一齿或每一第一齿应开始绕轴线旋转,则径向锥形表面将使第一齿或者每一齿更紧地抓住管,因而通过旋转力增加了抵制力。
如果筒夹在主体内不能旋转,则这可以通过筒夹接合主体的内部上的特征来完成。替代地,连接器还可包括套管,其具有至少一条腿,而该至少一条腿与筒夹腿协作以防止筒夹的旋转。这个套管可提供设置有第一齿的上述类型的部件。如此,套管将用于承载第一齿或者每一第一齿和防止筒夹的旋转两者。
作为另一替代方式,筒夹设置有在腿的端面上的特征,其接合相对于主体被固定的互补特征,以防止筒夹的旋转。这些互补特征可直接设置在主体上,或者可以设置在环上,该环具有一组齿,其与壳体接合以防止环相对于壳体的旋转。
筒夹不必具有齿。如果是这种情况,则第一齿或每一第一齿可在某种程度上帮助抵制管的轴向移动。然而,优选地,连接器还包括至少一个第二齿,该第二齿在筒夹上,且具有在垂直于轴线的平面中的抓握边缘。这增强了筒夹提供抵制管的轴向运动的能力。
单个第一齿将提供对旋转的合理程度的抵制。然而,优选地,多个分立的第一齿绕主轴线在圆周上间隔开。这提供了较好分布的抵制力。当多于一个第一齿时,连接器的相反侧上的第一齿可共面。然而,优选地,每个第一齿以相对的方式与连接器的相反侧上的第一齿成角度。有效地,当从侧面看时,在一对相反的第一齿上向下看,第一齿将以X形彼此交叉。再次,这提供了较好分布的抵制力,且不会趋于在连接器上形成由此形成的轴向力。例如如果具有奇数的第一齿,则第一齿在连接器的精确相反侧上不会具有一对。然而,优选的是,与大体上位于连接器的相反侧上的那些齿相比,第一齿以相反的方式仍是倾斜的。

具体实施方式
在说明示例之前,将对后续说明中使用的术语进行说明。连接器本质上是大体管状的,且具有主轴线X,其还对应于插入到连接器中的管的轴线。连接器在一端部具有嘴部,管插入到其中。径向和圆周方向相对于轴线X限定。具有嘴部的端部将被称为近端,而相反端被为远端。
连接器的第一示例在图1到4中示出。
这包括主体1,其具有居中于轴线X的大体上管状的结构,并具有从在近端处的相对宽的嘴部3延伸到在远端处的窄的出口4的通道2。在通道2内,大约中间,沿着主体1为多个圆周设置的雉堞结构(castellation或齿形结构)5,在图2中最好地示出。它们设置为使得通道的直径在这点上是断续地窄。在齿形结构5之间,具有倾斜表面6,其表示在通道2的横截面上朝着远端逐渐下降。下面描述齿形结构5和倾斜表面6的目的。朝着出口4,通道2设置有环形肩7,其表示在横截面上的下降并且为管T提供端部止挡,如图3和4最好地示出。主体1的近端设置有阳螺纹8,其目的在下面说明。
插入到壳体1的通道2中的第一部件为环形套管10。这在近端处具有环形部11,多个腿12从其远侧地突出。这些腿12与它们适配到的齿形结构5之间的空间在数量和尺寸上对应。腿12中每一个的最外边缘13与倾斜表面6接合,如图3和4最好地示出。腿12中每一个提供有倾斜齿14。当从平面视图看时,齿14相对于轴线X呈约45°的角,如图1最好地示出。
在套管10插入到主体1中的通道2中后,O形环密封件20跟随其后,该密封件20接合套管10的环形部11,并在管T和主体1之间形成密封。如可从图3和4看出,套管10与管T处于密封件20的相同侧,并被称为“湿”侧。
O形环20后为间隔环21,其邻抵密封件20。
在间隔环21后为筒夹30,其具有常规构造。这包括在近端处的环形端部31,多个腿32从其远侧地延伸。每一腿32具有向内突出的第二齿33,其切割边缘处在以常规方式垂直于轴线X的平面中。
锁定环40绕着筒夹30的中心部,并具有阴螺纹41,其接合连接器1上的阳螺纹8。在其初始构造中,连接器的部件处于图3所示的位置中,其中锁定环40未完全拧到主体1上。因此,通道内的部件在小的程度上自由轴向移动。通过以这种构造的连接器,管T插入到通道2中,直到其到达肩7上。一旦其完全接合,锁定环40拧紧到主体1中,将部件移动到图4所示的位置。在锁定环40拧紧时,倾斜表面42接合筒夹30的腿32,并将它们远侧地移动。继而,这将间隔环21、O形环密封件20以及套管10远侧地推动到图4所示的位置中。套管10的腿12的边缘31跑上斜面6,并被迫向内,因而使倾斜齿14抓住管T,如图4所示。部件被保持在这个位置,因为锁定环40防止它们轴向移动。在腿被迫升到斜面42时,管T上的在将其拉离连接器的方向上的任何轴向力使筒夹的第二齿33更紧地抓住管T,这对于该类型的筒夹是常规的。此外,倾于使管T绕着轴线X旋转的任何力通过倾斜齿14抵御。
如图所示,齿形结构5和对应的腿12的侧边位于大体径向平面。然而,这些表面可在如下意义上倾斜于该径向平面,即:施加到套管10的任意旋转力将使腿12骑上这些倾斜表面,从而以与筒夹的第二齿33提供由倾斜表面42引起的增加的抓握力的相似方式在管旋转时增加由倾斜齿14施加的抓握力。
为了从连接器移除管T,锁定环40拧开到图3所示的位置,且筒夹30压入连接器中,使得筒夹腿可以不受倾斜表面42的影响而自由地径向扩展。同样地,套管10的腿12自由地在斜面6上滑回,再次释放管,使得其可以容易地从连接器拉出。
连接器的第二示例在图5-8中示出。在此,相同的部件将以相同的附图标记来标示,且仅详细说明区别。
在第二示例中,第一示例中的套管10以及齿形结构5和斜面6不再存在。而是,倾斜齿14设置在筒夹30上,如图6最好地示出。所有的齿都可以是倾斜类型的。替代地,一些可以是倾斜的,而一些是在径向平面中的常规的齿33,如图6所示。替换套管10,第二示例使用在筒夹端部上的特征和间隔件以防止旋转。因此,间隔件在其径向最外侧表面上提供有多个齿22,其与主体1的近端的内表面的互补齿23接合,如图5最好地示出。一旦间隔件21在适当位置,齿22和23相互接合,防止间隔件21的旋转。在间隔环21的轴向端面上是多个圆周地设置的凸起24。如图5和6显见,它们在间隔环21的两面上都存在。然而,只有面对筒夹的那些是起作用的。它们设置在两侧上,使得间隔件21可以在任一方向插入。
互补的凸起34设置在筒夹30的远侧端面上,如图6所示。这些接合间隔环21上的凸起24,使得筒夹30相对于间隔件21不能旋转,并因此相对于联接件的其余不能旋转。尽管描述为凸起24、34,但这些可同样地在表面之一中为凹部。重要的要求在于,两组特征是互补的并如上所述防止相对旋转。
在如图7所示的构造中的部件的情况下,管T插入。锁定环40继而拧入到图8所示的位置,使筒夹齿向内移动并如上所述抓住管。这也使凸起24和34相互接合,从而防止管T的旋转。
连接器的第三示例在图9-12中示出。
该示例与第二示例是相似的,在于倾斜齿14设置在筒夹上。间隔件21设置有四个近侧地凸起的腿25,该腿具有放大的端部26,其到达主体1的近端面中的U形凹部27。筒夹的腿32适配在这些腿25之间,使得筒夹不能旋转。
锁定环40不具有螺纹,但是设置为相对于主体1旋转90°,使得特征43接合筒夹30,并促使它远离主体1。远端具有波状轮廓44,其选择性地覆盖主体1上的特征45,以提供锁定环处于其锁定位置的视觉指示。
图10还显示连接器的相反侧上的倾斜齿14如何定向。如可以在图10中所见,一侧上的齿以相反的方式与另一侧上的齿呈角度,这样,如果直接从侧面看这两个的话,它们会以X形交叉。

第四示例在结构和操作上与第一示例相似,在于其具有带有倾斜齿14的套管10。在第四示例中,套管10的旋转通过一对突起15来防止,该突起15适配到主体1的近端的内表面中的互补键槽16中。

Claims (15)
