本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种液晶显示器。
背景技术
传统的共平面开关模式(IPS,In-Plane Switching)液晶显示器或边缘场开关模式(FFS,Fringe Field Switching)液晶显示器中,存在着当显示暗态时由于不能够完全控制来自背光单元的入射光而导致暗态亮度增加从而使对比度降低的问题,当对比度减小时,液晶显示器的黑白画面对比不够分明,画面质感下降,从而难以显示鲜艳的图像。
发明内容
本发明提供一种液晶显示器,以解决上述液晶显示器的黑白画面对比不够分明,画面质感下降技术问题。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的一个技术方案是:提供一种液晶显示器,包括第一偏振膜、第一基板、液晶层、第二基板、以及第二偏振膜,第一偏振膜具有第一透射轴;第一基板具有平行于该第一透射轴的第一取向;第二偏振膜具有垂直于第一透射轴的第二透射轴;第二基板具有平行于第一透射轴的第二取向;其中,来自背光单元的入射光依次穿过第一偏振膜、第一基板、液晶层、第二基板、以及第二偏振膜;第一基板和第二基板具有多个双畴像素电极。
其中,双畴像素电极包括第一梳状电极和第二梳状电极,第一梳状电极插设于第二梳状电极。
其中,第一梳状电极包括多个间隔设置的第一折弯部和第一连接部,第一连接部连接多个间隔设置的第一折弯部以形成梳状。
其中,第二梳状电极包括多个间隔设置的第二折弯部和第一连接部,第二连接部连接多个间隔设置的第二折弯部以形成梳状,其中,多个第一折弯部与多个第二折弯部间隔设置。
其中,第一折弯部呈“>”型。
其中,第一折弯部呈“<”型。

第一偏振膜10具有第一透射轴A;第一基板20具有平行于该第一透射轴A的第一取向B;第二偏振膜50具有垂直于第一透射轴A的第二透射轴C;该第二基板40具有平行于第一透射轴A的第二取向D;其中,来自背光单元60的入射光依次穿过第一偏振膜10、第一基板20、液晶层30、第二基板40、以及第二偏振膜50,如图3所示,第一基板20和第二基板40上具有多个间隔设置的双畴像素电极110。
如图4,双畴像素电极110包括第一梳状电极70和第二梳状电极80,第一梳状电极70插设于第二梳状电极80,第一梳状电极70包括多个间隔设置的第一折弯部71和第一连接部72,第一连接部72连接多个间隔设置的第一折弯部71以形成梳状。第二梳状电极80包括多个间隔设置的第二折弯部81和第一连接部72,第二连接部82连接多个间隔设置的第二折弯部81以形成梳状,其中,多个第一折弯部71与多个第二折弯部81间隔设置,第一折弯部71或第二折弯部81可以为两个、也可以为三个,或三个以上,第一连接部72与第二连接部82之间形成有第一间隙,第二折弯部81与第一连接部72之间形成有第二间隙。
本发明的第一折弯部71可以呈“>”型或第一折弯部71呈“<”型,第二折弯部81的形状与第一折弯部71相同。
液晶层30包含液晶分子31和二色性染料32,二色性染料32平行于液晶分子31,向第一梳状电极70输入正电压和向第二梳状电极80输入负电压以使第二折弯部81与第一折弯部71之间形成有水平电场,从而使液晶分子31水平旋转方向双分,二色性染料32的长轴或短轴可吸收来自第一偏振膜10的一部分线性偏振光。
本发明的液晶显示器采用边缘场开关技术式或平面转换模式。
本发明提供一种液晶显示器,该液晶显示器的第一基板和第二基板具有多个双畴像素电极,使液晶显示器在不加电压下黑度得以减小,广视角、低色差且成像的画质鲜艳。

第二偏振膜,具有垂直于所述第一透射轴的第二透射轴;其中,
来自背光单元的入射光依次穿过所述第一偏振膜、所述第一基板、所述液晶层、所述第二基板、以及所述第二偏振膜;所述第一基板和所述第二基板具有多个双畴像素电极。
2.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其特征在于,所述双畴像素电极包括第一梳状电极和第二梳状电极,所述第一梳状电极插设于所述第二梳状电极。
3.根据权利要求2所述的液晶显示器,其特征在于,所述第一梳状电极包括多个间隔设置的第一折弯部和第一连接部,第一连接部连接所述多个间隔设置的第一折弯部以形成梳状。
4.根据权利要求3所述的液晶显示器,其特征在于,所述第二梳状电极包括多个间隔设置的第二折弯部和第一连接部,第二连接部连接所述多个间隔设置的第二折弯部以形成梳状,其中,所述多个第一折弯部与所述多个第二折弯部间隔设置。
