Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种电缆,并且特别地涉及一种能够满足ISO6722中规定的在汽车电线的CHFUS区域中的阻燃性、电池液耐受性、耐磨性、以及低温冲击性能的电缆。
背景技术
作为用于覆盖车用电线的绝缘树脂组合物,已知存在一种例如用于电线绝缘体的树脂组合物,其中,60质量份至90质量份的金属氢氧化物被掺混到100质量份的基料树脂,所述100质量份的基料树脂由55质量份至98质量份的聚烯烃系聚合物以及作为其余部分的聚酰胺构成,并且所述聚酰胺是聚酰胺6与聚酰胺66的共聚物(参见,例如,专利文献1)。然而,已经证实该树脂组合物具有如下问题:氢氧化镁的添加量如此大以至于树脂组合物不能满足根据ISO6722(2006版本)的电池液耐受性。
然后,为了满足电池液耐受性,进行了尽可能不使用氢氧化镁来满足阻燃性和电池液耐受性的研究,因而发现含卤阻燃剂(参见,例如,专利文献2)的添加。因此,发现同时满足电池液耐受性和阻燃性的掺混体系,但是该体系导致不利影响,即,耐低温性和耐磨性恶化的问题。
此外,已知具有阻燃性的树脂组合物(参见,例如,专利文献3至6),但是它们均不能同时满足阻燃性、电池液耐受性、低温冲击性能、以及耐磨性。

发明内容
技术问题
本发明的目的是通过使用含卤阻燃剂提供能够满足ISO6722中规定的在CHFUS区域中的阻燃性和电池液耐受性并且还满足耐磨性和低温冲击性能的电缆。
问题的解决方案
作为为了获得上述目的的各种研究的结果,发现含溴阻燃剂使耐磨性和低温冲击性能恶化。然而,如果减小含溴阻燃剂的量,则阻燃性可能恶化。然后,作为用于提高耐磨性的各种研究的结果,通过控制聚丙烯均聚物的掺混量能够满足该性质。然而,由于聚丙烯树脂的特性是在低温冲击性能方面低劣的事实,所以导致低温冲击性能进一步恶化的问题。然后,对在维持聚丙烯均聚物的掺混量(不使磨损性能恶化)的同时提高低温冲击性能进行了研究,因而上述问题已经通过使用改性的烯烃系弹性体而解决。
解决上述问题的本发明包括如下方面。
(1)一种电缆,在该电缆中,被覆层由树脂组合物形成,该树脂组合物分别包含(A)55至85质量份的聚丙烯均聚物、(B)5至20质量份的聚丙烯系改性树脂、(C)5至20质量份的聚烯烃系共聚 物、以及(D)5至15质量份的改性烯烃系弹性体,并且以树脂(A)、(B)、(C)、和(D)总共为100质量份计,该树脂组合物还包含1至45质量份的金属氢氧化物和10至80质量份的含卤阻燃剂。
(2)根据上述(1)所述的电缆,其中,所述聚丙烯系改性树脂(B)是通过将马来酸酐接枝共聚到聚丙烯系树脂而制备的树脂。
(3)根据上述(2)所述的电缆,其中,所述马来酸酐的酸值(JISK0070)为15至55。
(4)根据上述(1)所述的电缆,其中,所述聚丙烯系改性树脂(B)的重均分子量为15,000至50,000。
(5)根据上述(1)所述的电缆,其中,所述聚丙烯系共聚物(C)是由作为主要成分的丙烯与其它α-烯烃构成的嵌段共聚物或无规共聚物。

具体实施方式
本发明的电缆的特征在于,被覆层由树脂组合物形成,该树脂组合物分别包含(A)55至85质量份的聚丙烯均聚物、(B)5至20质量份的聚丙烯系改性树脂、(C)5至20质量份的聚烯烃系共聚物、以及(D)5至15质量份的改性烯烃系弹性体,并且以树脂(A)、(B)、(C)、和(D)总共为100质量份计,该树脂组合物还包含1至45质量份的金属氢氧化物和10至80质量份的含卤阻燃剂。
首先,对本发明的非交联树脂组合物的相应的成分描述如下。
树脂组合物
((A)聚丙烯均聚物)
以树脂为100质量份计,将被用于本发明的聚丙烯均聚物的掺混量为55至85质量份,优选为60至80质量份,并且更优选为60至70质量份。如果掺混量小于55质量份,则耐磨性可能是不充分的,并且如果掺混量超过85质量份,则低温冲击性能可能恶化。
((B)聚丙烯系改性树脂)
将被用于本发明的聚丙烯系改性树脂是通过将马来酸酐接枝共聚到聚丙烯系树脂而制备的树脂。所述聚丙烯系改性树脂可以是通过熔融工艺和溶液工艺制备的聚丙烯系改性树脂的两者之一。马来酸酐的酸值(JIS K0070)优选为15至55并且更优选为30至40。聚丙烯系改性树脂的重均分子量优选为15,000至50,000,并且更优选地20,000至40,000。
以树脂为100质量份计,聚丙烯系改性树脂的掺混量是5至20质量份,并且优选为10至5质量份。如果聚丙烯系改性树脂的掺混量小于5质量份,则耐磨性可能恶化。如果含量大于20质量份,则可能也无法获得特别显著的效果。
((C)聚烯烃系共聚物)
将被用于本发明的聚烯烃系共聚物优选为选自诸如丙烯-乙烯无规共聚物、丙烯α-烯烃无规共聚物、以及丙烯-乙烯-α-烯烃无规共聚物的由作为主要成分的丙烯与其它α-烯烃所构成的诸如的嵌段共聚物或无规共聚物的公知的丙烯(共)聚物中的一种或两种以上。
以树脂为100质量份计,聚烯烃系共聚物的掺混量是5至20质量份,优选为10至15质量份。如果掺混量小于5质量份,则低温性质可能是不充分的,并且如果掺混量超过20质量份,则耐磨性可能恶化。
((D)改性烯烃系弹性体)
在本发明中将使用的改性烯烃系弹性体是具有下述结构并且已经被改性的烯烃系弹性体。关于结构,无定形橡胶的实例包括乙烯/丙烯共聚物橡胶(EPM)、乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物橡胶(EPM)、乙烯/丙烯/丁烯共聚物橡胶、以及乙烯/丙烯/非共轭二烯共聚物橡胶(EPDM)。此外,苯乙烯热塑性弹性体的实例的包括具有芳香族乙烯基系聚合物嵌段(硬段)和共轭二烯系聚合物嵌段(软段)的嵌段共聚物或无规共聚物。芳香族乙烯基化合物的实例包括:苯乙烯;α-烃基取代的苯乙烯,诸如α-甲基苯乙烯,α-乙基苯乙烯和α-甲基-对甲基苯乙烯;核烷基取代的苯乙烯,诸如邻甲基苯乙烯,间甲基苯乙烯,对甲基苯乙烯,2,4-二甲基苯乙烯,乙基苯乙烯,2,4,6-三甲基苯乙烯,邻叔丁基苯乙烯,对叔丁基苯乙烯,以及对环己苯乙烯。共轭二烯化合物的实例包括丁二烯、异戊二烯、和甲基戊二烯。
关于其它橡胶成分,可以使用二烯橡胶,诸如丁苯橡胶(SBR)、丁腈橡胶(NBR)、以及丁基橡胶(IIR)。
关于改性,能够使用熔融工艺和溶液工艺中的任一种产生的改性。马来酸酐的酸值(JIS K0070)为15至55并且优选为30至40。
以树脂为100质量份计,改性烯烃系弹性体的掺混量是5至15质量份,优选为5至10质量份。如果掺混量小于5质量份,则低温性质可能是不充分的,并且如果掺混量超过15质量份,则耐磨性可能恶化。
(金属氢氧化物)
作为阻燃剂的金属氢氧化物的实例包括具有羟基或结晶水的化合物,诸如氢氧化镁、氢氧化铝、氢氧化钙、碱式碳酸镁、水合硅酸铝、和水合硅酸镁、及其组合。其中,氢氧化镁和氢氧化铝是优选的,并且特别优选使用氢氧化镁,尤其是用脂肪酸或硅烷偶联剂表面处理过的氢氧化镁。以树脂(A)、(B)、(C)、和(D)总共为100质量份计,金属氢氧化物的掺混量是1至45质量份,优选为20至30质量份。如果掺混量小于1质量份,则阻燃性可能是不充分的,并且如果掺混量超过45质量份,则电池液耐受性倾向于恶化。
(含卤阻燃剂)
含卤阻燃剂包括含溴阻燃剂和含氯阻燃剂,并且其实例包括全溴代苯、乙撑双-二溴降冰片烷二甲酰亚胺、乙撑双-四溴邻苯二甲酰亚胺、四溴-双酚S,三(2,3-二溴丙基-1)异氰酸酯、六溴环十二烷(HBCD)、八溴苯醚、四溴双酚A(TBA)环氧树脂低聚物或聚合物、TBA-双(2,3-二溴烯丙基醚)、氯化聚烯烃、全氯环十五烷、十溴二苯醚、聚二溴苯醚、双(三溴苯氧基)乙烷、乙烯双-五溴苯、二溴乙基-二溴环己烷、二溴新戊二醇、三溴苯酚、三溴苯酚烯丙醚、十四溴-二苯氧基苯、2,2-双(4-羟基-3,5-二溴苯基)丙烷、2,2-双(4-羟乙氧基-3,5-二溴苯基)丙烷、五溴酚、五溴甲苯、五溴二苯醚、六溴二苯醚、八溴二苯醚(octabromodiphenyl ether)、八溴二苯醚(octabromodiphenyl oxide)、 二溴新戊二醇四碳酸盐(dibromoneopentyl glycol tetracarbonate)、双(三溴苯酯)富马酰胺、N-甲基六溴苯胺,及其组合。其中,含溴阻燃剂是优选的,并且TBA-双(2,3-二溴烯丙基醚)是最优选的。混合使用含溴阻燃剂、二氧化锑和三氧化锑能够以较小掺混量满足阻燃性。以树脂(A)、(B)、(C)、和(D)总共为100质量份计,含卤阻燃剂的掺混量为10至80质量份,优选为20至50质量份。如果掺混量小于10质量份,则阻燃性可能是不充分的,并且如果掺混量超过80质量份,则可能无法改进阻燃性,并且其它物理性质例如耐磨性可能恶化或阻燃剂可能渗出。
在本发明中,除上述必须成分之外,还可以加入阻燃剂、阻燃剂助剂、抗氧化剂、金属钝化剂、抗老化剂、润滑剂、填料和增强材料、UV吸收剂、稳定剂、增塑剂、颜料、染料、着色剂、抗静电剂、发泡剂等,只要本发明的效果不受到损害即可。
<电缆>
本发明的电缆通过用由上述树脂组合物形成的被覆层涂覆的导体而制成。也就是,通过常规方法将上述树脂组合物期望地与各种添加剂熔融共混然后通过使用挤压机等常规方法用所得的组合物来涂覆导体来获得本发明的电缆。作为用于混合组合物的装置,能够使用能够混合的装置,诸如挤压机、Henschel混合机、捏和机、螺旋式捏和机、Banbury混合机、和滚碎机。
由于本发明的电缆已经通过用由上述树脂组合物形成的被覆层涂覆导体而制成,所以本发明的上述树脂组合物的性质被直接表现出来,并且因此,能够获得在低温冲击性能方面优良并且满足阻燃性、电池液耐受性、和耐磨性的电缆。
本发明的电缆适用于汽车、家用电线等的电线。
实施例
下面参照实施例更详细地描述本发明,是但本发明并不限于这些实施例。
(电缆的制造)
通过用捏和机或螺旋式捏和机捏和表1至表3中给定的掺混量(质量份)的各个组分来制备实施例中所使用的树脂组合物,然后使用这些树脂组合物,将这些树脂组合物装载到挤压机中(直径60mm,L/D=24.5,FF螺钉),并且以50m/min的挤出速率和230℃的挤出温度将树脂组合物挤出到导体上来制造电缆。表1至表3中的各个组分的细节如下。

<电缆的评价>
对按上述制备的各实施例和比较例的电缆的评价如下。
(耐磨性的评价)
根据ISO 6722的擦刮磨损规范使用7N负载、具有0.45毫米直径的针、以及具有0.22平方毫米的横截面积的芯线和0.125毫米的厚度的被覆层的电线来执行测量,然后,100个周期或以上的擦刮数被认为合格(○),而小于100个周期的擦刮数被认为不合格(×)。评价的结果在表1至表3中示出。
(低温冲击性能的评价)
通过在JIS K7216中提供的试验方法来进行评价。关于塑料试样的制备,使用以在本发明中规定的范围内的掺混量制备的试样。
关于试验方法,对在恒温的试验浴中的悬臂样本添加规定的冲击,并且根据断裂的数量来计算脆点;脆点为-10℃或以下的样本被认为合格(○),而脆点高于-10℃的样品被认为不合格(×)。评价的结果在表1至表3中示出。
(阻燃性的评价)
在ISO6722的阻燃性试验中,电缆以45度的角度设置在通风室内,并且在2.5mm2或更细的电缆的情况下经过15秒之后或在具有超过2.5mm2的大小的导体的电缆的情况下经过30秒之后,将本生灯的焰芯从试验样品移除,然后使得绝缘体的火焰在70秒内完全熄灭并且在试验样品的上部中50mm或更长的绝缘体仍未燃烧的电缆被视为合格(○),而使得火焰连续燃烧持续在70秒或更长或在试验样品中剩余的未燃烧的绝缘体的长度短于50mm的电缆被视为不合格(×)。评价的结果在表1至表3中示出。
(电池液耐受性试验)
根据ISO6722进行试验。将比重为1.260±0.005的电池液(H2S04溶液)逐滴地添加到绝缘电缆,使得可以避免液滴相互接触。随后,将绝缘电缆在90℃的炉内保持8小时,然后取出,之后,以上述方式添加电池液滴,然后将电缆在90℃的炉内保持16小时。总共重复该工艺循环两次,然后将电缆在室温(23℃±5℃)下静置30分钟。随后,将电缆缠绕在规定的心轴上,并且在肉眼观察被缠绕的电缆的绝缘被覆部。对未观察到导体的暴露的样品执行耐压试验,然后无导体的中断的样品被认为合格(“○”)。相反地,观察到导体的暴露或发生导体的中断的样品被认为不合格“×”。评价的结果在表1至表3中示出。
表1至表3示出了在实施例1至实施例9中的电池液耐受性、阻燃性、耐磨性、和低温冲击性能的所有评价中均获得令人满意的结果,而在比较例1至14中,评价结果中的至少一个是差的,在实施例1至实施例9中,所有组分的掺混量均在本发明的范围内,而在比较例1至14中,各组分的掺混量中的至少一个在本发明的范围之外。
上述实施例与比较例的比较已经表明,重要的是,将各组分的掺混量调节到在本发明中规定的掺混量的范围内以便获得与所有评价结果相关的令人满意的结果。

Claims (9)
1.一种电缆,在该电缆中,被覆层由树脂组合物形成,所述树脂组合物分别包含(A)55至85质量份的聚丙烯均聚物、(B)5至20质量份的聚丙烯系改性树脂、(C)5至20质量份的聚烯烃系共聚物、以及(D)5至15质量份的改性烯烃系弹性体,并且以树脂(A)、(B)、(C)、和(D)总共为100质量份计,所述树脂组合物还包含1至30质量份的金属氢氧化物和10至80质量份的含卤阻燃剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电缆,其中,所述聚丙烯系改性树脂(B)是通过将马来酸酐接枝共聚到聚丙烯系树脂而制备的树脂。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电缆,其中,所述马来酸酐的根据JISK0070所测得的酸值为15至55。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电缆,其中,所述聚丙烯系改性树脂(B)的重均分子量为15,000至50,000。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电缆,其中,所述聚烯烃系共聚物(C)是由作为主要成分的丙烯与其它α–烯烃构成的嵌段共聚物或无规共聚物。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电缆,其中,所述金属氢氧化物是氢氧化镁。
7.根据权利要求6所述的电缆,其中,所述氢氧化镁是由脂肪酸或硅烷偶联剂表面处理的氢氧化镁。
8.根据权利要求1所述的电缆,其中,所述含卤阻燃剂是含溴阻燃剂。
9.根据权利要求8所述的电缆,其中,所述含溴阻燃剂是四溴双酚A–双(2,3-二溴烯丙基醚)。
