Abstract
本发明涉及具备优秀耐冲击性的高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物及利用上述组合物的高折射率光学透镜,尤其是多层涂膜之后的耐冲击性和耐热性好,而且具备优秀的轻量性、可塑性及染色性等加工性和高阿贝数及透明性等光学特性的光学透镜用树脂组合物及利用上述组合物的高折射率光学透镜。

技术领域
本发明涉及具备优秀耐冲击性的高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物,利用上述组合物的高折射率光学透镜及其制造方法,尤其是在具备优秀的轻量性、可塑性及染色性等加工性和高阿贝数及透明性等光学特性的同时,因具备优秀耐冲击性和固体树脂的耐热性高,因此在多层涂膜之后,多层膜不易受热开裂的高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物,利用上述组合物的具备优秀耐冲击性的高折射率光学透镜及其制造方法。
背景技术
从很久以前就开始广泛用作光学透镜的玻璃透镜,因其热膨胀系数小,因此随外部温度变化的透镜的度数变化少,而且为提高透射率而镀于其表面的多层膜随温度变化的损伤较少。但玻璃透镜的耐冲击性弱,比重高,因此现在逐渐被重量轻、耐冲击性高,且比玻璃透镜具有优秀的染色性等加工性的塑料透镜取代。
最近,随着对塑料透镜的透射率和稳定性水平的要求变得越来越高,大部分光学透镜,尤其是眼镜片,通过在其透镜两侧表面进行多层涂膜(SiO2、ZrO2等无机物)提高透射率,但这样的多层膜,将来自外部的冲击集中在一个地方,因此容易导致透镜碎裂。
韩国公开专利1992-0004464号公开的间苯二甲酸二烯丙酯(diallyl isophthalate)、添加二价乙醇的间苯二甲酸二烯丙酯及二甘醇二烯丙基碳酸酯(diethylene glycol bis allylcarbonate)的共聚物,韩国公开专利1994-0004010号公开的二甲苯二异氰酸酯(xylenediisocyanate)、1,2-二巯基乙基-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bismercaptoethyl-3-mercaptopropane)及聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(polymethylmethacrylate)共聚物制作而成的塑料眼镜片,为提高透射率而进行多层涂膜,但存在眼镜片易碎的问题。
另外,挤出成型的聚碳酸酯(polycarbonate)光学透镜,虽然多层涂膜之后的耐冲击性较好,但若作为热塑性树脂使用,则因容易受热变形,其厚度较厚的边缘比透镜厚度薄的中心部变形更大,因此,若佩戴这样的镜片,则将引起眩晕,而且作为重要光学特性的阿贝数较低。
为解决由上述热塑性树脂制造而成的透镜的热稳定性,作为对策开发出热固性塑料透镜用树脂,在韩国注册专利第0638194号及0688698号中,公开了混合使用变性多元醇(polyol)和二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)制造光学透镜的方法。但是,虽然提高了耐冲击性及耐热性,但需在将光学树脂铸造成平板之后,再进行研磨制造透镜,从而成本较高,而且其折射率下降到1.523左右,因此透镜的边缘将变厚。
韩国公开专利第472837号,在二异氰酸酯中添加二价乙醇之后,与四价聚硫醇(polythiol)进行混合反应并进行热固化来制造光学透镜,从而提高了透镜的耐冲击性。但是,上述专利的光学透镜组合物,虽然可在毛坯镜片(未经后续加工的塑料透镜)状态下提高耐冲击性,但经多层涂膜之后,因其耐冲击性降低,从而无法满足FDA规格(127cm高度,16.0g)。另外,因预先向二异氰酸酯中添加二价乙醇制备光学透镜用组合物,因此,由于组合物的高粘度,容易发生不良。另外,上述光学透镜组合物,虽然具备足以制造无框眼镜片的强度,但不能算作耐冲击性较好的安全的眼镜片,而且由于折射率下降到1.555左右,因此透镜的边缘较厚。
韩国注册专利第689867号公开了在具备优秀的轻量性、可塑性、染色性、阿贝数及透明性的同时,在经多层涂膜之后具有优秀耐冲击性的塑料光学透镜用树脂组合物及其光学透镜的制造方法。上述专利虽然多层涂膜后的耐冲击性满足FDA规格(127cm高度,16.0g),但也由于折射率低至1.530~1.570左右,因此透镜的边缘变厚,且附加值低。
发明内容
为克服现有技术的问题,本发明人经过进一步的研究发现,向由特定含量的二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethanediisocyanate)(H12MDI)和1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate)(HDI)构成的二异氰酸酯混合物,配合特定含量的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bis(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-mercaptopropane)和三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylol propane tris(mercaptopropionate))、季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))或上述物质的混合物制造而成的树脂组合物,具备光学透镜所需的各种特性,尤其是高折射率和优秀的耐冲击性。
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物,其在具有1.580以上高折射率(nE,20℃)的同时,具有优秀的耐冲击性,从而多层涂膜之后的冲击强度能够通过FDA耐冲击实验(127cm高度,16.0g),而且其多层膜不仅耐热性好,而且还具备优秀的轻量性、可塑性及染色性等加工性和高阿贝数、透明性及防紫外线性能等光学特性。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种利用上述光学透镜用树脂组合物制造而成的光学透镜,其具有优秀耐冲击性和1.580以上的高折射率(nE,20℃)。
为达到上述目的,本发明提供了一种光学透镜用树脂组合物,包括:40~65重量%的二异氰酸酯混合物,其由50~85重量%的二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(H12MDI)和15~50重量%的1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)构成;35~60重量%的硫醇混合物,其由60~99.9重量%的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷和0.1~40重量%的三甲羟基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)、季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)或上述物质的混合物构成。
在上述二异氰酸酯混合物中,若增加1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)的使用量,则增加透镜的冲击强度,但降低耐热性;而若增加二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(H12MDI)的使用量,则提高耐热性,但减少冲击强度。基于此,在本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物中,考虑到最终制造出来的透镜的耐热性和冲击强度,二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(H12MDI)及1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)的使用量分别为50~85重量%和15~50重量%。
上述硫醇混合物,由优选为60~99.9重量%,更优选为70~95重量%的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷和优选为0.1~40重量%,更优选为5~30重量%的三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)、季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)或上述物质的混合物构成。上述三甲羟基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)和/或季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)的作用在于,在不明显降低最终树脂组合物耐热性及折射率的前提下,提高冲击强度。这是因为形成透镜的高分子内存在酯基,从而提高分子间的相互引力。
通过上述方法制造而成的光学透镜用树脂组合物,其液体折射率(nD,20℃)为1.530~1.600,固体折射率(nE,20℃)为1.580~1.630,阿贝数为32~52,液体粘度为20~3000(cps,20℃),而通过热固化上述组合物制造具有优秀耐冲击性且多层膜耐热性好,而且其折射率(nE,20℃)为1.580以上的高折射率光学透镜。
通过热固化本发明的光学透镜用组合物并进行后续处理而得到的眼镜片,其多层膜的耐热性好,具有符合FDA眼镜片规格(ANS规格,127cm高度,16.0g落球实验)的耐冲击性,且由于具有1.580~1.630的高折射率,因此其边缘较薄,从而可提供适合于运动员或运动量大的普通人或冲击较多的作业现场工人等的安全的光学透镜。
具体实施方式
构成本发明的具有优秀耐冲击性的高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物的二异氰酸酯混合物,包含二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(H12MDI)和1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(1,6-hexamethylenediisocyanate)(HDI)。本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物,还可包括选自亚烃基二异氰酸酯(alkylene diisocyanate)化合物、脂环族二异氰酸酯(alicyclic diisocyanate)化合物、杂环二异氰酸酯(heterocyclic diisocyanate)化合物及含硫的二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)化合物中的一种或两种以上二异氰酸酯化合物,而其含量为相对于树脂组合物总重量的0.1~10重量%。

上述含硫的二异氰酸酯化合物,例如是4-异氰酸基-4′-异氰酸基二苯基硫化物(4-isocyanato-4′-isocyanato diphenyl sulphide)、2-异氰酸基-2′-异氰酸基二乙基硫化物(2-isocyanato-2′-isocyanatodiethyl sulphide)、硫代二乙基二异氰酸酯(thiodiethyl diisocyanate)、硫代二丙基二异氰酸酯(thiodipropyl diisocyanate)、硫代二己基二异氰酸酯(thiodihexyl diisocyanate)、二甲砜二异氰酸酯(dimethylsulfone diisocyanate)、二硫代二甲基二异氰酸酯(dithiodimethyldiisocyanate)、二硫代二乙基二异氰酸酯(dithiodiethyl diisocyanate)、二硫代二丙基二异氰酸酯(dithiodipropyl diisocyanate)、二环己基硫化物-4,4′-二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexyl sulphide-4,4′-diisocyanate)、1-异氰酸基甲基硫杂-2,3-二(2-异氰酸基乙基硫杂)丙烷(1-isocyanato methylthia-2,3-bis(2-isocyanato ethylthia)propane)等。
在上述二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)混合物中,二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate)的含量较佳为50~85重量%,更佳为60~80重量%。若二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate)的含量低于50重量%,则透镜的耐热性急剧下降,从而易导致透镜表面开裂,而且在透镜的中心部,出现受热导致的凹陷现象。在上述二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)混合物中,1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate)的含量,较佳为15~50重量%,更佳为20~40重量%。若1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate)的含量低于15重量%,则降低透镜的冲击强度,而若超过50重量%,则明显降低透镜的耐热性。另外,可向二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethanediisocyanate)和1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate)中,添加少量亚烃基二异氰酸酯(alkylene diisocyanate)化合物、脂环族二异氰酸酯(alicyclicdiisocyanate)化合物、杂环二异氰酸酯(heterocyclic diisocyanate)化合物及含硫的二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)化合物使用,但若使用量过大,则将降低透镜的冲击强度,并降低耐热性或热稳定性等光学透镜的重要物性。
向上述二异氰酸酯(diisocyanate)混合物中单独添加1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bis(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-mercaptopropane)也可制造光学透镜,但在本发明中,为提高耐冲击性而添加三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylol propanetris(mercaptopropionate))和/或季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))。
上述硫醇(thiol)混合物的含量,较佳为相对于上述光学透镜用树脂组合物总重量的35~60重量%,更佳为40~50重量%。若上述硫醇(thiol)混合物的含量超过相对于上述光学透镜用树脂组合物总重量的60重量%,则将导致透镜的不充分固化,从而因透镜表面强度弱,容易在生产工艺过程中在透镜表面产生划痕,而且在洗涤时,容易被洗涤液在表面发生腐蚀,从而急剧降低透镜的透明度。另外,若上述硫醇混合物的含量低于35重量%,则因异氰酸酯(isocyanate)化合物之间的反应,降低透镜的冲击强度,而且残留于透镜中的未反应异氰酸酯(isocyanate),导致透镜的热稳定性及耐光性急剧下降。
本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物,除上述构成硫醇(thiol)混合物的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bis(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-mercaptopropane)和三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylol propane tris(mercaptopropionate))和/或季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))之外,还可包括从2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)丙烷-1,3-硫醇(2-(2-mercaptoethylthio)propane-1,3-thiol)、2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-[2-(3-巯基-2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-丙基硫代]乙基硫代-丙烷-1-硫醇(2-(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-[2-(3-mercapto-2-(2-mercaptoethylthio)-propylthio]ethylthio-propane-1-thiol)、2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-{2-巯基-3-[3-巯基-2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-丙基硫代]丙基硫代}-丙烷-1-硫醇(2-(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-{2-mercapto-3-[3-mercapto-2-(2-mercaptoethylthio)-propylthio]propylthio}-propane-1-thiol)、三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylolpropane tris(mercaptopropionate))、三羟甲基乙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylolethane tris(mercaptopropionate))、三(巯基丙酸)甘油酯(glycerol tris(mercaptopropionate))、三羟甲基氯基三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylolchloro tris(mercaptopropionate))、三羟甲基丙烷三醇(巯基醋酸酯)(trimethylolpropane tris(mercaptoacetate))、三羟甲基乙烷三(巯基醋酸酯)(trimethylolethane tris(mercaptoacetate))、季戊四醇四巯基丙酸酯(pentaerythritoltetrakis mercaptopropionate)、季戊四醇四巯基醋酸酯(pentaerythritoltetrakis mercaptoacetate)、[1,4]二噻烷-2-基-甲硫醇([1,4]dithiane-2-yl-methanethiol)、2-(2-巯基-乙基磺酰基)-丙烷-1,3-二硫醇(2-(2-mercapto-ethylsulfanyl)-propane-1,3-dithiol)、2-([1,4]二噻烷-2基甲基磺酰基)-乙硫醇(2-([1,4]dithiane-2ylmethylsulfanyl)-ethanethiol)、3-(3-巯基-丙酰磺酰基)-丙酸2-羟基甲基-3-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基)-2-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基甲基)-丙基酯(3-(3-mercapto-propionylsulfanyl)-propionic acid2-hydroxyl methyl-3-(3-mercapto-propionyloxy)-2-(3-mercapto-propionyloxymethyl)-propyl ester)、3-(3-巯基-丙酰磺酰基)-丙酸3-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基)-2,2-二-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基甲基)-丙基酯(3-(3-mercapto-propionylsulfanyl)-propionic acid 3-(3-mercapto-propionyloxy)-2,2-bis-(3-mercapto-propionyloxymethyl)-propyl ester)、(5-巯基甲基-[1,4]二噻烷-2-基)-甲硫醇((5-mercaptomethyl-[1,4]dithiane-2-yl)-methanethiol)及下述化学式1(Y1S)所示的化合物中选择一种或两种以上。

若三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)(trimethylol propane tris(mercaptopropionate))和/或季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))化合物的含量低于0.1重量%,则不能提高透镜的冲击强度,而若超过40重量%,则因降低多层膜耐热性及折射率,从而无法使用现有模具。
用本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物制造的光学透镜,为提高耐光性并防紫外线,还可包括紫外线吸收剂。紫外线吸收剂可使用可用于塑料眼镜片的已公开的任意紫外线吸收剂。例如,可单独或混合使用乙基-2-氰基-3,3-二苯基丙烯酸酯(ethyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate)、2-(2′-羟基-5-甲基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二-叔-丁基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′,5′-di-t-butylphenyl)-5-chloro-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′-叔-丁基-5′-甲基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′-t-butyl-5′-methylphenyl)-5-chloro-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二-叔-戊烷基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′,5′-di-t-amylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二-叔-丁基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′,5′-di-t-butylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-5′-t-丁基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5′-t-butylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-5′-叔-辛基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5′-t-octylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2,4-二羟基苯甲酮(2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone)、2-羟基-4-甲氧基苯甲酮(2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone)、2-羟基-4-辛氧基苯甲酮(2-hydroxy-4-octyloxybenzophenone)、4-十二烷氧基-2-羟基苯甲酮(4-dodecyloxy-2-hydroxybenzophenone)、4-苯甲酸基-2-羟基苯甲酮(4-benzoxy-2-hydroxybenzophenone)、2,2′,4,4′-四羟基苯甲酮(2,2′,4,4′-tetrahydroxybenzophenone)、2,2′-二羟基-4,4′-二甲氧基苯甲酮(2,2′-dihydroxy-4,4′-dimethoxybenzophenone)等。较佳地,使用在400以下频带中具有良好的防紫外线功能且对本发明的组合物具有良好溶解性的2-(2′-羟基-5-甲基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-羟基-4-甲氧基苯甲酮(2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone)、乙基-2-氰基-3,3-二苯基丙烯酸酯(ethyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate)、2-(2′-羟基-5′-叔-辛基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5′-t-octylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)或2,2′-二羟基-4,4′-二甲氧基苯甲酮(2,2′-dihydroxy-4,4′-dimethoxybenzophenone)、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二-叔-戊基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′,5′-di-t-amylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二-叔-丁基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′,5′-di-t-butylphenyl)-5-chloro-2H-benzotriazole)、2-(2′-羟基-3′-叔-丁基-5′-甲基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-3′-t-butyl-5′-methylphenyl)-5-chloro-2H-benzotriazole)、2,2′-二羟基-4,4′-二甲氧基苯甲酮(2,2′-dihydroxy-4,4′-dimethoxybenzophenone)等。
另外,本发明光学透镜用树脂组合物,为初始颜色的校正还可包括颜色控制剂。颜色控制剂可使用有机染料、有机颜料及无机颜料等。在本发明的实施例中,使用1-羟基-4-(p-甲苯胺)蒽醌(1-hydroxy-4-(p-toluidine)anthraquinone)、环酮染料(perinonedye)等。上述有机染料的添加量为相对于光学透镜用树脂组合物1份的0.1~50,000ppm,较佳为0.5~10000ppm,从而在添加紫外线吸收剂、光学树脂及单体时,防止透镜变黄。
本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物还可包括脱模剂。脱模剂可使用从含有全氟烃基(Perfluoroalkyl)、羟基烷基(hydroxyalkyl)或磷酸酯基(phosphoric ester)的氟类非离子表面活性剂;含有二甲基聚硅氧烷基(dimethyl polysiloxane)、羟基烷基(hydroxyalkyl)或磷酸酯基(phosphoric ester)的硅类非离子表面活性剂;三甲基十六烷基铵盐(trimethylcetyl ammonium salt)、三甲基十八烷基(trimethylstearyl)、二甲基乙基十六烷基铵盐(dimethylethylcetylammonium salt)、三乙基十二烷基铵盐(triethyldodecyl ammoniumsalt)、三辛基甲基铵盐(trioctylmethyl ammonium salt)、二乙基环己十二烷基铵盐(diethylcyclohexadodecyl ammonium salt)、磷酸酯(phosphoric ester)等烷基季铵盐中选择的一种或两种以上。较佳地,使用磷酸酯。磷酸酯可使用从磷酸异丙酯(isopropylphosphate)、二异丙基磷酸酯(diisopropyl phosphate)、磷酸二丁酯(dibutyl phosphate)、磷酸辛酯(octyl phosphate)、磷酸二辛酯(dioctyl phosphate)、磷酸异癸酯(isodecyl phosphate)、磷酸二异癸酯(diisodecyl phosphate)、磷酸十三醇酯(tridecanolphosphate)、磷酸二(十三醇酸)酯(bis(tridecanol acid)phosphate)中选择的一种或两种以上。在本发明的实施例中使用的结果表明,磷酸酯类的ZELEC UN(DUPONT公司)在固化后将透镜从模具脱模时,其脱模性最好。脱模剂的添加量为组合物的0.0001~10重量%,较佳为0.001~2重量%,此时的透镜脱模性好且聚合率高。若脱模剂的添加量低于0.0001重量%,则在将成型后的眼镜片从玻璃模具分离时,玻璃模具表面将附着于透镜,而若超过10重量%,则在模具聚合过程中,因透镜从模具分离,从而在透镜表面产生斑点。
本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物还可包括聚合引发剂。聚合引发剂可使用胺化合物或锡化合物。锡化合物可使用从二月桂酸丁基锡(butyltindilaurate)、二氯化二丁基锡(dibutyltindichloride)、二乙酸二丁基锡(dibutyltindiacetate)、辛酸亚锡(stannous octylate)、二月桂酸二丁基锡(dilauricaciddibutyltin)、四氟化锡(tetrafluorotin)、四氯化锡(tetrachlorotin)、四溴化锡(tetrabromotin)、四碘化锡(tetraiodtin)、三氯化甲基锡(methyltintrichloride)、三氯化丁基锡(butyltintrichloride)、二氯化二甲基锡(dimethyltindichloride)、二氯化二丁基锡(dibutyltindichloride)、氯化三甲基锡(trimethyltinchloride)、氯化三丁基锡(tributyltinchloride)、氯化三苯基锡(triphenyltinchloride)、硫化二丁基锡(dibutyltinsulphide)、氧化二(2-乙基己基)锡(di(2-ethylhexyl)tinoxide)等中选择的一种或两种以上。若使用上述锡化合物,则聚合率高,不产生气泡。其使用量,较佳为相对于树脂组合物的0.001~4重量%。
通过热固化本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物来制造光学透镜,尤其是眼镜片。通过热固化本发明的组合物来制造眼镜片的较佳实施例如下:首先,向本发明的组合物最后添加聚合引发剂之后,吹入氮气去除拌料桶内的空气,接着进行2~5小时的减压搅拌,待搅拌结束之后,减压脱泡注入模具。此时,较佳地,模具使用利用塑料衬垫或聚酯或聚丙烯胶粘带固定的玻璃模具或金属模具。将注入混合物的玻璃模具放入强制循环式烤炉中,在以33~37℃维持2小时,以38~42℃升温3小时,以80~90℃升温10小时,以120~140℃升温2~4小时,以120~140℃维持2小时,以60~80℃冷却2小时之后,将固形物从模具脱模制得光学透镜。将上述制得的光学透镜,在120~140℃温度条件下进行1~4小时的缓冷,以此制得塑料眼镜片(毛坯镜片)。
另外,为提高通过上述方法制成的光学透镜的光学特性,可进行硬膜涂层处理及多层涂膜处理。形成硬膜涂层的方法如下:在光学透镜表面通过浸渍或旋转涂布等方法,将以含有环氧树脂基、环氧基、乙烯基等官能基的至少一种硅烷化合物和氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化锑、氧化锡、氧化钨、氧化铝等至少一种金属氧化物胶体作为主要成分的镀膜化合物涂成0.5~10μm的厚度之后,利用加热或紫外线固化完成涂膜。
多层膜,即防反射涂层,可利用氧化硅、氟化镁、氧化铝、氧化锆、氧化钛、氧化钽、氧化钇等金属氧化物,通过真空沉积或喷镀来形成。较佳地,在透镜两面的硬膜涂层上,三次以上重复真空沉积氧化硅和氧化锆膜之后,最后真空沉积氧化硅膜。另外,可根据需要最后形成水膜(氟树脂)层,或在氧化硅和氧化锆膜之间形成ITO层。
本发明的光学透镜可根据需要利用分散染料或光变色染料进行着色之后使用。
本发明的光学透镜用树脂组合物,非限制于塑料眼镜片,可应用于各种光学产品。
下面,结合具体实施例对本发明进行详细说明。但是,这些实施例旨在更详细说明本发明,而非限制本发明的范围。
实施例1
(1)制造本发明的光学材料及透镜的方法如下:混合38.2g的二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate)(H12MDI)、16.3g的1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(1,6-hexamethylenediisocyanate)、34.9g的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bis(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-mercaptopropane)和10.1g的季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))制备混合物之后,作为紫外线吸收剂取1.5g的2-(2′-羟基-5′-甲基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑(2-(2′-hydroxy-5′-methylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole),作为脱模剂取0.1g的聚氧乙烯辛基苯酚醚磷酸酯(polyoxyethylene octylphenol ether phosphate),作为有机染料取50ppm的1-羟基-4-(p-甲苯胺)蒽醌(1-hydroxy-4-(p-toluidine)anthraquinone)(蓝色)及10ppm的环酮染料(perinone dye)(红色),作为聚合引发剂取0.1g的二氯化二丁基锡(dibutyltindichloride),投入设置有搅拌器的拌料桶并利用氮气置换去除拌料桶内的空气之后,进行2小时的减压搅拌,待搅拌结束之后,减压脱泡注入用聚酯胶粘带固定的玻璃模具。
(2)将注入混合物的玻璃模具放入强制循环式烤炉中,在以35℃维持2小时,以40℃升温3小时,以120℃升温12小时,以120℃维持2小时,以70℃冷却2小时之后,将固形物从模具脱模制得中心厚度为1.2~2.2mm的光学透镜。
(3)将从(2)制得的光学透镜加工成72mm直径并利用烧碱洗涤液进行超声波洗涤之后,在120℃温度条件下进行2小时的缓冷处理。
(4)对从(3)中制得的光学透镜进行表面蚀刻处理并浸渍于(株)Fine Coat硬膜涂液进行热固化之后,在两面真空沉积氧化硅、氧化锆、ITO、水膜(氟树脂),从而制得进行硬膜涂层处理及多层涂膜处理的光学透镜。
物性实验方法
通过如下物性实验方法测量各光学透镜的物性并将其结果记录于表1。
1)折射率及阿贝数:利用Atago公司的DR-4型号多波长阿贝折射仪进行测量。试片接触液使用一溴化萘(monobromonaphthalene)。
2)光透射率:利用SHIMADZU公司的UV 2450型号进行测量。
3)比重:利用OHAUS公司的VPG214CN进行测量。
4)多层膜受热开裂现象:将透镜试片放入80℃的烤炉中烤60分钟之后用肉眼观察,若透镜表面无多层膜开裂现象则评为A,若1mm以下的划痕在10个以下则评为B,而若划痕在10个以上则评为C。
5)耐冲击性:耐冲击性是在常温22℃条件下,通过美国InstronModel Mini-Tower Impact Tester(Instron dynatub)和落球(drop ball)试验进行测量。使用美国Instron Model Mini-Tower Impact Tester(Instron dynatub)时,未经涂膜的透镜(毛坯镜片)利用槽(tubs),而多层涂膜的成品透镜利用压槽(piezo tubs)降落于透镜前面进行测量。未经涂膜的透镜(毛坯镜片)的冲击性试验,向10个透镜以8J、11J及14J的冲击能量降落于透镜前面,若1个都不碎裂则评为○,若碎裂1~2个则评为△,而若碎裂3个以上则评为X。另外,多层涂膜的成品透镜的冲击性试验,向10个多层涂膜的成品透镜(-0.00,中心厚度2.2mm)以0.2J及0.4J的冲击能量降落于透镜前面,若1个都不碎裂则评为○,若碎裂1~2个则评为△,而若碎裂3个以上则评为X。根据FDA的规定,落球试验向10个多层涂膜的成品透镜(-0.00,中心厚度2.2mm),用直径为5/8英寸(约16mm)),重量为16g的钢球,在127cm的高度降落于透镜前面,若1个都不碎裂则评为○,若碎裂1~2个则评为△,而若碎裂3个以上则评为X。
实施例2~12
利用与实施例1相同的方法,以表1所示的组成制造各自的组合物及透镜并将实验结果记录于表1。
比较例1
除混合53.6g的二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(dicyclohexylmethanediisocyanate)(H12MDI)、3.8g的1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate)、32.7g的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷(1,2-bis(2-mercaptoethylthio)-3-mercaptopropane)和9.4g的季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)(pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptopropionate))制备光学透镜用树脂组合物之外,与实施例1相同的方法实施并将其特性记录于表2。
比较例2~6
利用与比较例1相同的方法,以表2所示的组成制造各自的组合物及透镜并将实验结果记录于表2。

工业实用性
根据本发明可制得在具有高折射率的同时,在进行多层涂膜之后,具有优秀的耐冲击性且热变形现象很少的氨基甲酸酯类塑料光学透镜,而本发明的光学透镜尤其适用于眼镜片,而且除眼镜片之外,还可用于使用在棱镜、光纤维、光盘、磁盘等的记录介质基板、滤色器、紫外线吸收滤光片及手机的透视光等各种光学产品。
Claims (11)
1.一种高折射率光学透镜用树脂组合物,其特征在于,包含:
40~65重量%的二异氰酸酯混合物,其由50~85重量%的二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(H12MDI)和15~50重量%的1,6-六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)构成;
35~60重量%的硫醇混合物,其由60~99.9重量%的1,2-二(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-巯基丙烷和0.1~40重量%的三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)、季戊四醇四(巯基丙酸酯)或它们的混合物构成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述树脂组合物还包含相对于所述树脂组合物总重量的6~28重量%的硫醇化合物和由以下化学式1(Y1S)所示的化合物中的一种或多种,所述树脂组合物中所有组分的总重量为以重量计100%,所述硫醇化合物选自由2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)丙烷-1,3-硫醇、2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-[2-(3-巯基-2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-丙基硫代]乙基硫代-丙烷-1-硫醇、2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-3-{2-巯基-3-[3-巯基-2-(2-巯基乙基硫代)-丙基硫代]丙基硫代}-丙烷-1-硫醇、三羟甲基乙烷三(巯基丙酸酯)、三(巯基丙酸)甘油酯、三羟甲基氯代三(巯基丙酸酯)、三羟甲基丙烷三(巯基醋酸酯)、三羟甲基乙烷三(巯基醋酸酯)、季戊四醇四巯基乙酸酯、[1,4]二噻烷-2-基-甲硫醇、2-(2-巯基-乙基磺酰基)-丙烷-1,3-二硫醇、2-([1,4]二噻烷-2-基甲基磺酰基)-乙硫醇、3-(3-巯基-丙酰磺酰基)-丙酸2-羟基甲基-3-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基)-2-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基甲基)-丙基酯、3-(3-巯基-丙酰磺酰基)-丙酸3-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基)-2,2-双-(3-巯基-丙酰氧基甲基)-丙基酯、(5-巯基甲基-[1,4]二噻烷-2-基)-甲硫醇组成的组,化学式1为
3.根据权利要求1所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:相对于所述树脂组合物总重量,所述树脂组合物还包含0.1~10重量%的选自由亚烃基二异氰酸酯化合物、脂环族二异氰酸酯化合物、杂环二异氰酸酯化合物及含硫二异氰酸酯化合物组成的组中的一种或两种以上,所述树脂组合物中所有组分的总重量为以重量计100%,。
4.根据权利要求1所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述树脂组合物还包含至少一种添加剂,所述添加剂选自由紫外线吸收剂、脱模剂、聚合引发剂及颜色控制剂组成的组。
5.根据权利要求4所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述紫外线吸收剂选自由2-(2′-羟基-5-甲基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二叔丁基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-3′-叔丁基-5′-甲基苯基)-5-氯-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二叔戊基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-3′,5′-二叔丁基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-5′-叔丁基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑、2-(2′-羟基-5′-叔辛基苯基)-2H-苯并三唑、2,4-二羟基苯甲酮、2-羟基-4-甲氧基苯甲酮、2-羟基-4-辛氧基苯甲酮、4-十二烷氧基-2-羟基苯甲酮、4-苯甲酰氧基-2-羟基苯甲酮、2,2′,4,4′-四羟基苯甲酮、2,2′-二羟基-4,4′-二甲氧基苯甲酮和它们的混合物组成的组。
6.根据权利要求4所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述脱模剂是选自由磷酸异丙酯、二异丙基磷酸酯、磷酸二丁酯、磷酸辛酯、磷酸二辛酯、磷酸异癸酯、磷酸二异癸酯、磷酸十三醇酯、磷酸二(十三醇)酯组成的组中的至少一种。
7.根据权利要求4所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述聚合引发剂为锡化合物或胺化合物。
8.根据权利要求7所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述锡化合物选自由二月桂酸丁基锡、二氯化二丁基锡、二乙酸二丁基锡、辛酸亚锡、二月桂酸二丁基锡、四氟化锡、四氯化锡、四溴化锡、四碘化锡、三氯化甲基锡、三氯化丁基锡、二氯化二甲基锡、二氯化二丁基锡、氯化三甲基锡、氯化三丁基锡、氯化三苯基锡、硫化二丁基锡、氧化二(2-乙基己基)锡和它们的混合物组成的组。
9.根据权利要求4所述的树脂组合物,其特征在于:所述颜色控制剂为有机染料。
10.通过热固化权利要求1所述的树脂组合物而制造的高折射率光学透镜。
11.根据权利要求10所述的光学透镜,其特征在于:所述光学透镜为眼镜片。
