现有技术中原则上已知添加惰性矿物填料可获得用于无纺布生产的聚合物线。
文献US 6 797 377 B1记载了一种用于制造具有织物类结构(“布样性质”)的由聚合物或聚合物混合物构成的材料的方法,所述材料具有不超过10%的矿物填料含量。为保证在提高的填料含量下织物的柔顺度,采用填料混合物。因而发现了,特别添加TiO2能在较高的填料含量下抑制织物硬度的升高。因此,根据US 6 797 377的教导只是使用TiO2和另一种矿物填料的混合物。关于填料的颗粒尺寸,在US 6 797 377中则规定为10至150μm大小。

“填料”在本发明中涉及的是可以附加入聚合物挤出混合物中的颗粒或其他形状的材料,其中所述颗粒不会不利地影响聚合物并且在挤出混合物中均匀分散。填料可以由不同材料组成,其中,在颗粒的形状和大小方面也存在变化的可能性。
“纺织平面构型物品”在本发明范畴内是指织物、针织物(Gestrick)、编织物(Gewirk)、纱布(Gelege)或无纺织物。“无纺织物”因而是一种纺织平面构型物品的下位类型。其由无纺纤维构成,而所述无纺纤维例如通过机械法或通过粘合纤维或化学助剂或它们的组合粘合而成。
从属权利要求
在一个优选的实施方式中,本发明聚合物线的填料由碱土金属碳酸盐、特别是由碳酸钙构成。碳酸钙是一种理想的填料,其特征特别在于以下由J.T.Lutz和R.F.Grossman(Eds.)的“Polymer modifiers andadditives”,Marcel Dekker,Inc.2001,125页起的内容中记述的性质:相对于聚合物和其他添加剂化学惰性;低比重,理想的折射指数和颜色,低成本。
要考虑到的是,碳酸钙通常从天然蕴藏的白垩获得并且当地的地质条件决定了白垩中附加矿物的含量。因此,在白垩中可以除了其他碱土金属碳酸盐之外还例如含有金属氧化物,如氧化铁。
自然,也可以考虑使用不同的碱土金属碳酸盐或两种或更多种这类化合物的混合物。设想的特别是碳酸钙(CaCO3)或碳酸镁(MgCO3)或碳酸钡(BaCO3)。在此,填料至少90重量%、优选95重量%、特别是97重量%由碳酸钙组成。
其中可采用一种或更多种含有或不含碱土金属碳酸盐的其他填料包括例如氧化铁、氧化铝(Al2O3)或氧化硅(SiO2)或氧化钙(CaO)或氧化镁(MgO)或硫酸钡(BaSO4)或硫酸镁(MgSO4)或硫酸铝(AlSO4)或氢氧化铝(AlOH3)。也可以考虑矾土(高岭土)、沸石、硅藻土、滑石、云母或炭黑。
二氧化钛(TiO2)也是一种常用的填料,其原则上也可以用于本发明范畴中。但是现已惊奇地发现,在较高的碳酸钙含量下可以完全放弃添加消光剂(Mattierungsmittel)二氧化钛(TiO2)。鉴于本发明所提出的任务,这种情况是值得关注的,因为二氧化钛较之碳酸钙更贵并因此而提供了额外的成本优势。
在本发明聚合物线的一个特别优选的实施方式中,填料含量以聚合物线重量计为15至25重量百分比。
对于颗粒尺寸,本发明所用的填料的优选范围为<6μm。这优选对应着≤10μm的填料颗粒的顶切值(Top-Cut)(D98)。在该情况下,该值表示,只有2%的填料颗粒是>10μm的。
在一个特别优选的实施方式中,颗粒尺寸为2-6μm。所述的下限值并非对更小颗粒尺寸下本发明的可实施性做出说明,而是表征了能够保证均匀分散并同时可供获得有益的成本价格(Einstandpreisen)的颗粒尺寸的范围。
对于填料的颗粒形状,分为球形(例如玻璃球粒或硅酸盐球)、立方体形(例如碳酸钙)、长方体形(例如硫酸钡或硅石)、薄片状(例如滑石或云母)或圆柱体形的颗粒。
为获得本发明的聚合物线通常可以考虑所有的热塑性化合物。重要的形成线的可纺热塑性聚合物是聚烯烃、聚酯、聚酰胺或含卤素的聚合物。
聚烯烃系列特别包含例如聚乙烯(HDPE、LDPE、LLDPE、VLDPE;ULDPE、UHMW-PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚(1-丁烯)、聚异丁烯、聚(1-戊烯)、聚(4-甲基戊-1-烯)、聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯、以及各种烯烃共聚物。除了这些,多相掺合物(Blend)也属于所述聚烯烃。因此,可以例如使用聚烯烃,特别是聚丙烯或聚乙烯,聚烯烃和α,β-不饱和羧酸或羧酸酐形成的接枝聚合物或共聚物,聚酯,聚碳酸酯,聚砜,聚苯硫醚,聚苯乙烯,聚酰胺或两种或更多种上述化合物的混合物。
属于聚酯的特别是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚对苯二甲酸亚丙基酯(PTT)、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)、但也可以是可降解的聚酯如聚乳酸(聚交酯,PLA)。
属于含卤素的形成线的聚合物的例如是聚氯乙烯(PVC)、聚偏氯乙烯(PVDC)、聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)和聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)。
除了已经提及的那些形成线的合成聚合物之外还存在其他聚合物,如聚丙烯酸酯、聚醋酸乙烯酯、聚乙烯醇、聚碳酸酯、聚氨酯、聚苯乙烯、聚苯硫醚、聚砜、聚甲醛、聚酰亚胺或聚脲,它们都能考虑作为本发明聚合物线的成分。
在其他优选的实施方式中,本发明的聚合物线可以形成为单组分长丝或多组分长丝。各组分的聚合物组成在此不必统一,而是可以在很宽范围内变动。在一个特别优选的实施方式中,含填料的组分的重量份额以多组分长丝的总重量计是大于50%。
当使用双组分长丝时,提供有多种形式,例如核/壳形式或并排形式(Seite-an-Seite)。由不同聚烯烃、特别由聚丙烯和聚乙烯构成的双组分长丝是特别优选的。
为制造聚合物长丝,除了使用圆纤维(Rundfaser)之外也可以提供其他不同的横截面。特别优选的是其横截面形状为圆形、椭圆或n角形的单丝,其中n大于等于3,例如三叶形横截面形状。也可以考虑具有中空状横截面的纤维。
本发明的聚合物线可以根据已知方法制造。在此是按以下步骤进行操作:
i 将聚合物粒料与填料颗粒混合,
ii 通过一个或更多个喷丝嘴将混合物挤出,
iii 将所形成的聚合物线抽出,
iv 任选拉伸和/或松弛所形成的长丝,和
v 缠绕所述线,
其中
-所述填料含量以聚合物线计为>10重量%,
-所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)为≤6μm。
在通过熔融纺丝由合成聚合物制造“纺粘无纺布”时,通过喷嘴口经由压力泵挤压聚合物熔体并抽出为长丝的形式。传统的熔融纺丝技术记载在例如US 3,692,618(Metallgesellschaft AG)、US5032329()、WO03038174(BBA Nonwovens,Inc.)或WO02063087(Ason)中。
通过例如借助于压缩空气和/或负压和/或拉伸筒拉伸被抽出的长丝,对长丝内的大分子进行排列,其中所述的长丝获得其物理性能(强度、细度、收缩性)。在拉伸之后,在堆置架(Ablage)上堆置(ablegen)所述的长丝以进一步粘合为无纺布或者切割为短纤维制造中所期望的长度(在文献中部分地将拉伸之后的长丝称为纤维,尽管还未切断长丝)。熔融纺丝时长丝的粘合可以以技术人员已知的方式通过机械方法(主要是用针刺(Vernadeln)或水喷射粘合),借助热(通过使用压力并同时加热进行焊接)或借助化学方法(粘合剂)进行。为制造无纺布,作为方法除了优选的熔融纺丝外还可以采用例如梳理法、熔融吹制法、湿式无纺布法、静电纺丝或气动无纺布制造法。
本发明的平面构型物品,特别是无纺织物,同样可以根据上述方法制得。其中,在挤出长丝之前,以所述量和所述颗粒尺寸添加填料。在此,按照以下步骤进行操作:
i 将聚合物粒料与填料颗粒混合,
ii 通过一个或更多个喷丝嘴将混合物挤出,
iii 将所形成的聚合物线抽出,
iv 任选拉伸和/或松弛所形成的长丝,和
v 堆置(Ablage)所述线以制造无纺织物,
其中
-所述填料含量以聚合物线计为>10重量%,和
-所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)为≤6μm。
特别优选采用由聚烯烃纤维、特别是由聚丙烯纤维和/或聚丙烯-聚乙烯-双组分纤维,特别是具有PP核和PE壳的核壳-纤维形成的纺织平面构型物品。这些产品的特点是,除了有利的价格之外,对于化学侵蚀环境有高稳定性。在优选的实施方式中,所述纺织平面构型物品由聚合物线与同一或多种不同的天然纤维的混合物组成。作为天然纤维可以采用例如大麻、黄麻、西沙尔麻和烟叶。
本发明无纺织物在其粘合时,例如通过在压延时热粘合下改变温度和压力而进行的进一步最优化过程,可以可靠地有助于使填充以碳酸钙的无纺织物的性能可以变化超出此处所述的范围。
根据本发明所制得的无纺织物例如通过以下所述范围内的特征值来更精确地确定:
-单位面积重量为7至500g/m2,优选10至200g/m2。
-单位面积重量(g/m2)和透气性(l/m2s,根据DIN EN ISO 9237)的乘积在110000±20%的范围内。
-水柱(根据DIN EN 20811)除以单位面积重量得到的商值为2.5±20%。
-长丝表面经亲水化之后具有根据EDANA ERT 150小于5秒的渗入时间值。
-纵向(Maschinen-Richtung)上,最高牵引力(Hoechstzugkraft)(根据DIN 29073-3)除以单位面积重量得到的商值为1.7±20%,以及在横向上为1.0±20%。
-纵向上,最高牵引伸长率(根据DIN 29073-3)除以单位面积重量得到的商值为3.3±20%,以及在横向上为4.0±20%。
-长丝纤度在1至5dtex、优选2至3.5dtex范围内。
在本发明范畴内也存在着无纺织物的多种应用可能。作为本发明的无纺织物的最重要应用可能是制造衬垫材料,个人卫生用品(尿布、妇女卫生巾、化妆垫),擦布,抹布和拖布以及用于气体、气溶胶和液体的过滤器,伤口绷带,伤口敷布。也可以考虑用于制造阻隔材料(Daemmmaterial),声学无纺织物和屋顶油毡(Dachunterspannbahnen)。
所谓的土工无纺布(Geovliese)的应用范围也是非常广泛的,该范围对应着上位概念涵盖的宽度。因此,土工无纺布可例如用于堤岸的加固中,用作屋顶绿化结构中的层,用作填埋场覆盖物(Deponieabdeckung)的层用以分开土层和倾注物(Schuettgueter)或者作为路面的碎石道床(Schotterbett)下的中间层。在农业以及园艺中也可以将所述无纺织物有利地用作田地和蔬菜管理的遮盖物。
实施例
以下将根据实施例更详尽地阐述本发明的细节和特征。但是这些实施例不应限制本发明而只是对其阐述。
实施例1:由单丝组成的无纺织物
在一个传统的纺粘无纺布中试装置(Reicofil 3)上制造具有不同含量的碳酸钙和不同单位面积重量的PP-纺粘无纺布。所用的碳酸钙(Omyalene 102M-OG)是一种颗粒化的碳酸钙,其可以从Omya AG公司获得。
作为制造无纺织物的原料,选择使用Ziegler-Natta催化制得的PP(ZN-PP:Moplen HP560R;制造商Basell),其中,所提出的方法并不局限于这类PP,相反,其他适合形成纤维、长丝或无纺织物的人造材料也是合适的,例如茂金属-PP、无规嵌段和多相丙烯共聚物、聚烯烃-嵌段-和-共聚物、聚乙烯、聚酯、聚酰胺等。
表1归纳了所制得的无纺织物的组成以及所选择和表征的性能。
作为参比的是通过熔融纺丝制得且由纯PP单丝组成的无纺织物样品12.1,17.1和20.1。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.2,17.2和20.2由单丝制得,所述单丝由90%的PP和10%的碳酸钙的混合物构成。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.3,17.3和20.3由单丝制得,所述单丝由85%的PP和15%的碳酸钙的混合物构成。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.4和20.4由单丝制得,所述单丝由75%的PP和25%的碳酸钙的混合物构成。
实施例2:由双组分纤维组成的无纺织物
因为除了在此推荐的方法外还可以考虑其他纤维形式,所以也能纺织多组分纤维以制造无纺织物,其中,碳酸钙不分散于整个纤维中,而只是在单个纤维组分中。
作为实例的是由核/壳-双组分纤维制造的无纺织物。
表2归纳了其组成以及其表征的性能。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.1B和20.1B由核/壳比为50/50的纯PP-双组分长丝构成并应作为参比。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.2B和20.2B由PP-双组分长丝构成,其中,长丝的核由90%的PP和10%的碳酸钙的混合物构成而壳由纯的PP构成。核/壳之比为75/25。以整个纤维计,碳酸钙的含量为约7.5%。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品12.3B和20.3B由PP-双组分长丝构成,其中无论是长丝的核还是壳都由90%的PP和10%的碳酸钙的混合物组成。核/壳比为50/50。以整个纤维计,碳酸钙的含量为约5%。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品20.4B由PP-双组分长丝构成,其中,长丝的核由75%的PP和25%的碳酸钙的混合物组成而壳由纯PP组成。核/壳之比为50/50。以整个纤维计,碳酸钙的含量为约12.5%。
通过熔融纺丝制得的无纺织物样品20.5B由PP-双组分长丝构成,其中,长丝的核由75%的PP和25%的碳酸钙组成而壳由纯PP组成。核/壳之比为75/25。以整个纤维计,碳酸钙的含量为约18.75%。
不言自明的是,制造无纺织物的混合物除了上述配方之外也可以含有其他添加剂或添加剂混合物,特别是二氧化钛或颜料。
表1和表2的结果表明,添加碳酸钙能令人惊奇地不引起值得一提的无纺织物特性的改变。
实施例3:添加填料之后的亲水性
用于卫生产品(例如尿布)的无纺织物通常要配置亲水性。为此,例如可以采用GE SILOCONES公司的亲水化试剂Nuwet 237。
为测试亲水性与碳酸钙含量的关系,通过一种由7.5%的水中的Nuwet 237组成的配方通过湿润辊(Kissroll)涂敷法将具有12g/m2和20g/m2单位面积重量的由纯PP制成的无纺织物以及具有10%碳酸钙含量的无纺织物亲水化。以此方式涂敷的活性物质含量为约0.2%,以无纺布的重量计。
对于未混入碳酸钙的、亲水化的无纺织物,测量到4.3秒(12g/m2)或3.1秒(20g/m2)的渗入时间。对于亲水化的且含有10%碳酸钙的无纺织物,测得3.5秒(12g/m2)或3.8秒(20g/m2)的渗入时间。
也已表明,添加10%的碳酸钙不会实质影响亲水性。
方法
确定长丝纤度
借助于显微镜测定长丝的纤度。根据下式将测得的纤度(微米表示)换算为Dezitex(PP的密度=0.91g/cm3):
确定单位面积重量
单位面积重量的测定根据DIN EN 29073-1在10x10cm大的样品体上进行。
测量无纺织物的厚度作为两个具有规定大小的平面平行的测量面的间距,无纺织物在预设的测量压力下位于这两个测量面之间。所述方法类似于DIN EN ISO 9073-2进行。喂给重量(Auflagegewicht)125g,测量面积25cm2,测量压力5g/cm2。
确定平均孔径
借助于毛细管流动-孔径仪(Porometer)(PMI毛细管流动孔仪CFP-34RUF8A-3-X-M2T)测量无纺织物的平均孔径。在该过程中,使被特殊液体饱和的样品在孔径仪中经受连续升高的空气压力,测量对空气压力和空气流量的依赖性。
确定透气性
根据DIN EN ISO 9237测量透气性。测量头的面积为20cm2,所施加的测试压力为200Pa。
确定水柱
根据DIN EN 20811的教导确定水柱。测试压力的梯度为10mbar/分钟。作为水密封性的度量的是以mbar或mm水柱表示的水压,其中,在测试面的第三位置上第一个水滴渗入测试材料。
确定机械性能
无纺织物的机械性能根据DIN EN 29073-3确定。绷紧长度(Einspannlaenge):100mm,试样宽度50mm,进给速度(Vorschub)200mm/分钟。“最高牵引力”是力-伸长率曲线上最大达到的力,“最高牵引伸长率”是力-伸长率曲线上属于最高牵引力下的伸长率。
确定亲水性
根据EDANA ERT 150测量经亲水化的无纺织物的渗入时间(“液体渗入时间”)。
Claims (19)
1.一种含有热塑性聚合物和无机填料的聚合物线,其特征在于,
-以聚合物线计,所述填料含量>10重量%,和
-所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)≤6μm。
2.如权利要求1所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料为碱土金属碳酸盐。
3.如权利要求1和2中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料有至少90重量%、优选95重量%、特别是97重量%由碳酸钙组成。
4.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料不含有二氧化钛。
5.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料含量以聚合物线计为15至25重量%。
6.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料颗粒的顶切值(D98)≤10μm。
7.如前述权要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)优选为2μm至6μm。
8.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述聚合物是聚烯烃、聚酯、聚酰胺、聚苯硫醚或含卤素的聚合物。
9.如权利要求8所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述聚烯烃是聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚(1-丁烯)、聚异丁烯、聚(1-戊烯)、聚(4-甲基戊-1-烯)、聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯或者两种或更多种上述化合物的混合物。
10.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述聚合物线是单丝或多组分长丝,其中,如果是多组分长丝则所有长丝组分都由相同的聚合物组分或者由不同的聚合物组分组成。
11.如权利要求10所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述多组分长丝是一种构成为核/壳式双组分长丝或并排式长丝的双组分长丝,其中,所述填料分别只包含于一种组分中。
12.如权利要求11所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述含有填料的长丝组分的重量份额,以多组分长丝的重量计为>50重量%。
13.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的聚合物线,其特征在于,所述聚合物线具有不同横截面,特别是中空横截面或三叶形横截面。
14.制造如权利要求1~13中任一项所述的聚合物线的方法,其包括如下步骤:
i 将聚合物粒料与填料颗粒混合,
ii 通过一个或更多个喷丝嘴将混合物挤出,
iii 将所形成的聚合物线抽出,
iv 任选拉伸和/或松弛所形成的长丝,和
v 卷绕所述线,
其特征在于,
-所述填料含量以聚合物线计为>10重量%,和
-所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)为≤6μm。
15.一种纺织平面构型物品,其特征在于,所述纺织平面构型物品含有如权利要求1~13中任一项所述的聚合物线。
16.如权利要求15所述的纺织平面构型物品,其特征在于,所述纺织平面构型物品是无纺织物。
17.一种制造如权利要求16所述的纺织平面构型物品的方法,其包括以下步骤:
i 将聚合物粒料与填料颗粒混合,
ii 通过一个或更多个喷丝嘴将混合物挤出,
iii 将所形成的聚合物线抽出,
iv 任选拉伸和/或松弛所形成的长丝,和
v 堆置所述线以制造无纺织物,
其特征在于,
-所述填料含量以聚合物线计为>10重量%,和
-所述填料的平均颗粒尺寸(D50)为≤6μm。
18.如权利要求14~16中任一项所述的纺织平面构型物品,其特征在于,所述纺织平面构型物品由如权利要求1~13中任一项所述的聚合物线与同一或多种不同天然纤维的混合物组成。
19.如权利要求16和17中任一项所述的无纺织物的用途,用于制造
-个人卫生用品(尿布、妇女卫生巾、化妆垫),
-擦布、抹布、拖布,
-用于气体、气溶胶和液体的过滤器,
-伤口绷带,伤口敷布,
-阻隔材料,声学无纺织物,
-衬垫材料,
-屋顶油毡,
-土工无纺布,或
-用于田地和蔬菜管理的覆盖物。
