Abstract
The piece has exterior and intermediate links and a central link articulated with respect to one another by articulating pins (4). The articulating pins are machined with circular grooves (6) that receive corresponding locking screws (5), for permitting the locking screws to lock the exterior links in rotation and to determine a necessary gap. The locking screws are housed below the exterior links. The exterior links are set with stones on exterior and convex surfaces.
Description
The present invention relates to the field of watchmaking and jewelry, and particularly in the field of the design of a piece of jewelry articulated links to be mounted brilliants.
If it is relatively easy to design a bracelet or necklace with conventional joints such as links connected together by pins, it is very difficult to have this concept of articulation with crimps stones.
Indeed, the links are pierced with holes for the passage of the pins,
piercing the outer link to drive the pin prevents disassembly of the link and therefore any implantation of a stone in this area.
In addition the presence of fastening screws on the outer faces for adjustment in length does not promote aesthetics.
The present invention allows to have all the advantages of the bracelet articulated by pins while allowing the disassembly by unscrewing and the implantation of stones.
The presence of the screws is invisible once the bracelet worn, the screws appear once the bracelet returned to the back.
During assembly, the fact that the links are threaded into the pins allows a blend of different links in shape and color.
The machining of the link is simple, its manufacturing cost is extremely low.
<tb> Fig.
1 <sep> gives us an idea of the links of a wristwatch assembled and laid flat. We see very precisely that the outer faces of the outer links (1) have no traces of pins or screws. Between each outer link is articulated the intermediate links (2) and between these two links, the central link (3).
<tb> Fig. 2 <sep> shows two assembled links whose external links are set with stones on the convex face (9) and the outer faces (8).
<tb> Fig. 3 <sep> represents two assembled links returned on the back, it distinguishes the position of the fixing screws (5) directed towards the inside of the bracelet. This arrangement makes the screws invisible once the bracelet is closed to the wrist.
<tb> Fig. 4 <sep> shows the different links threaded on the hinge pins (4). The immobilization is ensured by the screw (5) screwing into the threads (7) of the outer link. The screw has at its end a cone which is positioned in a circular groove (6) of the pin (4). The center distance of the grooves gives the exact position of the outer links according to the game requested.
<tb> Fig. 5 <sep> shows the assembly of a complete link with the outer link (1) fixed with its pins (4). The intermediate link is threaded on the pin (4) and the central link (3) the intermediate link (2) and finally the opposite outer link (1).
It is understood that for the complete assembly of the branch of the bracelet, it will be necessary to entangle the intermediate links (2) and the central links (3).
