Abstract

A cylindrical sheath (30) is produced by continuous weaving. This sheath is then cut up according to a plane perpendicular to its axis in order to form endless belts. Finally these belts are coated with a layer of granular abrasive material (31). The abrasive belts which do not have any allowance are commonly used in grinding and sanding machines. <IMAGE>
