Abstract

Tip tinning/soldering plant includes a conveyor for the pieces to be dipped or the solder which has a two speed drive which is operated by limit devices at fixed locations for operating the contactors which alter the speeds of the conveyor. Pref. the solder is upwardly displaced by compressed air into dipping and control shafts which latter are fitted with contact electrodes closing control circuits when the solder attains their respective levels. The method permits a fast approach speed and controlled rate immersion and removal of the workpiece from the solder Used for mfg. electronic equipment.
