Abstract
The mounting ring (1) has a groove (8) around its inner periphery in which an O-ring seal (7) is located, so as to engage the peripheral edge (6a) of the circular watch glass (6), with the seal being compressed between the ring (1) and the watch glass (6). The latter rests on an annular fixed stop (3), whose bottom edge (3b) rests on a lip projecting inwards from the mounting ring (1) and its outer periphery (3a) engaging the side of the mounting ring (1). The annular stop (3) has an inclined edge (3c) between the outer peripheral edge (3a) and the bottom edge (3b), which aids the insertion of the stop, the O-ring seal (6) being previously inserted in the groove (8).
