Abstract
The wall or floor is made up of wooden blocks (5) which have bevelled ends on the outside (4). The blocks are assembled in bonded courses as a cavity unit. The top and bottom faces contain longitudinal grooves in which are placed battens of wood (1) which lock adjacent blocks in the same or adjacent courses. The inside top faces of each block contain recesses at either end. Metal strips (3) rest in these recesses and join the blocks on either side of the cavity. The cavity is then filled with either cement or a mixture of cement and an insulating material.
Description

The main patent N "547919 relates to a building structure, in particular a wall or floor, which is characterized in that it comprises rows of wooden blocks linked together by cement.
A particular embodiment of the structure which is the subject of the main patent comprises a block of wood formed from two parts connected by fasteners, for example metal strips. These fasteners are nailed in battues formed in the connected parts so as to come flush with the upper and lower surfaces of these parts.
The present invention aims to improve the structure which is the subject of the main patent, and it relates to a building structure, characterized in that it comprises two parallel rows of wooden blocks connected by fasteners fixed in battues of a horizontal surface of the blocks. , so as to provide an empty space between the two rows for receiving cement, grooves being formed in the horizontal surfaces of the blocks and wooden lists being engaged in these grooves to hold two superimposed blocks in place.
The accompanying drawing shows by way of example an embodiment of the invention.
Each block 5 of a row comprises two grooves on each horizontal surface. In these grooves are placed wooden lists 1 of the desired length, of a thickness slightly less than the groove, so that two blocks 5 can fit into it.
In order to maintain an equal distance between each row, metal tabs 3 are placed in small battues 3. Between these two rows, it is possible to accommodate either cement 2 alone, or cement with an insulating material.
The blocks 5 have recesses 4 which facilitate assembly and give a certain aesthetic appearance.
It can be seen that the superimposed blocks 5 are moved in the longitudinal direction with respect to each other, which reinforces the strength of the wall.
CLAIM
Building structure according to the claim of the main patent, characterized in that it comprises two parallel rows of wooden blocks connected by fasteners fixed in battues of a horizontal surface of the blocks, so as to leave an empty space between the two rows for receiving cement, grooves being formed in the horizontal surfaces of the blocks and wooden lists being engaged in these grooves to hold two superimposed blocks in place.
