Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Küpenfarbstoff hergestellt werden kann, wenn man 4-Aminoanthrachinon-2,1-(N)-1",2- (N)-benzaeridon mit einem p-chlorbenzoylie- renden Mittel behandelt.
Der neue Farbstoff löst sieh in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit gelbroter Farbe und färbt pflanzliche Fasern aus rotvioletter II.vdrosulfitküpe in tiefen blauen Tönen von vorzüglicher Echtheit.
Als p-ehlorbenzoylierende Mittel können gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren beispielsweise p-Chlorbenzoesäure und insbesondere ihre funktionellen Derivate, vorzugsweise p-Chlor- benzoylehlorid, verwendet werden. Die Reak tion wird in an sieh bekannter 'Weise zweek- iijässi- in einem indifferenten Lösungsmittel, wie Nitrobenzol, Tri- oder Dichlorbenzol, durchgeführt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>6</B> Gewiehtsteile 4--Aminoanthraehinon-2,1- (N)-l',2'-(N)-benzaeridon und<B>5,</B> Gewiehtsteile p-Chlorbenzoylehlorid werden in<B>190</B> Raum teilen o-Dichlorbenzol während einer Stunde auf<B>150</B> bis<B>1600 C</B> erhitzt. Man lässt erkalten und filtriert den blauen Farbstoff ab.

The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color and dyes vegetable fibers from red-violet II vdrosulfite vat in deep blue shades of excellent fastness.
As p-chlorobenzoylating agents, for example p-chlorobenzoic acid and in particular its functional derivatives, preferably p-chlorobenzoyl chloride, can be used according to the present process. The reaction is carried out in a manner known per se in an inert solvent such as nitrobenzene, tri- or dichlorobenzene.
