Description

  

  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 261975.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller       Küpenfarbstoff    hergestellt werden kann, wenn  man     4-Aminoanthrachinon-2,1-(N)-1',2'-(N)-          benzaeridon    mit einem     p-pheny        lcinnamoylie-          renden    Mittel behandelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff bildet     graugrüne    Kri  stallnadeln und färbt Baumwolle aus rot  violetter     I1y        drosulfitküpe    in grünblauen Tö  nen von guter Echtheit.  



  Als     p-plieny        lcinnanioyli.erende    Mittel kön  nen gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren beispiels  weise     p-Phenylzimtsäure    und insbesondere  ihre funktionellen Derivate, vorzugsweise das  Säurechlorid,     verwendet    werden. Die Reak  tion wird in an sieh bekannter Weise zweck  mässig in einem indifferenten Lösungsmittel,  wie Nitrobenzol oder     Dichlorbenzol,        durch-          geführt.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man erhitzt 2,5 Teile     p-Phenylzimtsäure    in  104 Teilen     o-Dichlorbenzol,    das eine geringe  Menge     Py        ridin    enthält, mit 8 Teilen     Thionyl-          ehlorid    unter     Rückfluss    allmählich bis zum  Sieden. Sobald eine klare Lösung entstanden  ist, destilliert man das     überschüssige        Thionyl-          chlorid    zusammen mit etwa 13 Teilen Lö  sungsmittel ab.

   Dann gibt man bei 90     Teile     4-Aminoanthrachinon-2,1-(N)-1',2'-          (N)-benzaeridon    zu und erhitzt 1 Stunde auf  140 bis 150 . Nach dem Erkalten wird der  Farbstoff     abfiltriert,    mit Alkohol gewaschen  und getrocknet.

  According to the present process, p-phenylcinnamic acid and in particular its functional derivatives, preferably the acid chloride, can be used as p-plienyl cinnamic acid. The reaction is expediently carried out in a manner known per se in an inert solvent such as nitrobenzene or dichlorobenzene.



  <I> Example: </I> 2.5 parts of p-phenylcinnamic acid in 104 parts of o-dichlorobenzene, which contains a small amount of pyridine, are gradually refluxed with 8 parts of thionyl chloride. As soon as a clear solution has formed, the excess thionyl chloride is distilled off together with about 13 parts of solvent.

   Then 90 parts of 4-aminoanthraquinone-2,1- (N) -1 ', 2'- (N) -benzaeridone are added and the mixture is heated to 140 to 150 for 1 hour. After cooling, the dye is filtered off, washed with alcohol and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4- Aminoanthrachinon-2,1-(N)-1',2'-(N)-benz- aeridon mit einem p-pheny leinnamoylierenden Mittel behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet graugrüne Kri stallnadeln und färbt Baumwolle aus rot violetter Hydrosulfitküpe in grünblauen Tö nen von guter Echtheit. UNTERANSPRÜCHE 1.
