Description
Kontinuierliche Presse.
Continuous press. The subject of the invention is a continuous press.
This is characterized in that the compression cylinder containing the screw of the press, with a perforated wall, looks after the residues of the pressing process have been ejected. expanded ..
The attached drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention in the view. partial cut.
The press shown exists. from a cylindrical housing 1 with. Filling line and an extension 3 designed as a screen
The housing 1. and the extension 3 are coaxial. In their common axis is that of a screw conveyor 4, which can be driven by means of a shaft 5.
As can be seen from the drawing, the sideliai # tige extension 3 is conical in shape, in such a way that it can be seen from your filler rail? after the Versehlussdeekel 6 slightly expanded
The cover 6 is articulated in FIG. 7 and carries with it a displaceable weight S, the level of which determines the pressure on your ilebelarin 9. Welehein the lid 6 to close the free opening of the sieve 3 suelit.
1) he effect of the press is. the following: Iin filling line? the cut to be pressed is introduced, which the screw 4 conveys through the press. It can be grapes, for example.
As a result of the rotation of the screw, the juice of the grapes is pressed out through the sieve 3, while the marc melts behind the cover 6 under increasing pressure. If the pressure of the pomace exceeds the counterpressure of the lid, it rises and the pomace is expelled until equilibrium is restored. The press can therefore work continuously.
Up to now, such presses have been built in such a way that the extension formed by the screen 3 is somewhat smaller towards the exit, instead of expanding as in the present example. It was believed to favor the continuous pressing process; however, the opposite took place. The marc accumulating in the narrowed part could hardly leave the press, and the continuous process was accordingly made more difficult.
Thanks to the arrangement according to the invention of an outwardly widening channel instead of a narrowing channel, the continuous process proceeds perfectly.
