Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Phenoxyalkyl-ammoniumverbindung. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu dem im Hauptpatent beschriebenen ss-Phenoxy-äthyl- dimethyl-dodecyl-ammoniumbromid auch ge langen kann, wenn man ss-Phenoxy-äthylbro- mid auf Dimethyl-dodecylamin einwirken lässt.
Die so erhaltene Verbindung soll als Des infektionsmittel Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel 1:</I> 2 Teile ss-Phenoxy-äthylbromid werden mit 2,3 Teilen Dimethyldodecylamin 20 Stunden auf dem Wasserbad erwärmt, gegebenenfalls in einem Lösungsmittel wie z. B. Essigester oder Aceton. Man erhält so in guter Ausbeute das ss-Phenoxy-äthyl-dimethyl-dodecyl-ammo- niumbromid, das nach dem Umkristallisieren aus Aceton bei 1120 schmilzt. Es ist ein wei sses Kristallpulver, das gut und mit neutraler Reaktion in Wasser löslich ist.
<I>Beispiel 2:</I> 2 Teile ss-Phenoxy-äthylbromid und 2,3 Teile Dimethyldodecylamin werden in Wasser suspendiert und während 20 Stunden auf dem Wasserbad erwärmt, wobei die Reak tionsmasse nach einiger Zeit homogen wird. Durch Eindampfen der erhaltenen Lösung wird das ss-Phenoxy-äthyl-dimethyl-dodecyl- ainmoniumbromid erhalten.
Process for the preparation of a phenoxyalkylammonium compound. It has been found that the ss-phenoxy-ethyl-dimethyl-dodecyl-ammonium bromide described in the main patent can also be reached if s-phenoxy-ethyl bromide is allowed to act on dimethyl-dodecylamine.
The compound thus obtained is said to be used as a disinfectant. <I> Example 1: </I> 2 parts of β-phenoxy-ethyl bromide are heated with 2.3 parts of dimethyldodecylamine on a water bath for 20 hours, if necessary in a solvent such as. B. ethyl acetate or acetone. The β-phenoxy-ethyl-dimethyl-dodecyl-ammonium bromide, which melts at 1120 after recrystallization from acetone, is thus obtained in good yield. It is a white crystal powder that is readily soluble in water with a neutral reaction.
<I> Example 2: </I> 2 parts of β-phenoxyethyl bromide and 2.3 parts of dimethyldodecylamine are suspended in water and heated on a water bath for 20 hours, the reaction mass becoming homogeneous after a while. The ss-phenoxy-ethyl-dimethyl-dodecyl-ainmoniumbromid is obtained by evaporating the resulting solution.
