      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 242845.         Verfahren    zur Herstellung     eines        metallisierbaren"        Polyazofarbstoffes.       Das vorliegende Patent betrifft     ein    Ver  fahren zur Herstellung eines braunen     Poly-          azofarbstoffes    und ist dadurch gekennzeich  net, dass man 1     Mol        Resorcin,    1     Mol    der Ver  bindung,

   erhältlich durch Verseifen und       Diazotieren    des Farbstoffes aus 1     Mol        diazo-          tierter        Metanilsäure    und 1     Mol        1-Acetamino-          2-oxybenzol    und 1     Mol    der aus 1     Mol        tetra-          zotiertem        4,4'-Diaminobenzanilid    und 1     Mol          Salicylsäure    erhältlichen     Zwischenverbin-          dung    aufeinander einwirken lässt.

    



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  17,3 g     Metanilsäure    werden wie üblich       diazotiert    und die     Diazoverbindung    mit einer  Lösung von 15,1 g     1-Acetamino-2-oxybenzol,     13,3 g 30%iger Natronlauge und Wasser in  Gegenwart von Soda gekuppelt. Der Farb  stoff wird mit Salzsäure abgeschieden und  filtriert. Er wird durch Erwärmen mit ver  dünnter Natronlauge verseift, mit Salzsäure  abgeschieden und filtriert.

  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles  Pulver dar, das Baumwolle und regenerierte       Cellulose    in     orangebraunen    Tönen färbt. Mit  Kupfersulfat nachbehandelt, werden die Fär  bungen in der Wasch-, Licht-, Säure-     und          Alkaliechtheit    erheblich verbessert.
