Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines 1-Aeylamino-aryl-5-pyrazolons. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines 1-Acyl- aminoaryl-5-pyrazolons. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man aus 1- [3' (3"-Aminobenzoylamino) -phenyl] - 5 -pyrazo- lon-3-carbonsäure-4-sulfonsäure in schwefel saurem Medium bei erhöhter Temperatur die 4ständige Sulfonsäuregruppe abspaltet.
Die neue Verbindung stellt ein hellgraues Pulver dar. Sie ist ein wertvolles Zwischen produkt für die Herstellung von Farbstoffen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 500 Gewichtsteile einer etwa 38%igen Paste von 1- [3'- (3"-Aminobenzoylamino)- phenyl] -5-pyrazolon-3-carbonsä.ure-4-sulfon- säure, hergestellt nach Patentanspruch Num mer 229424, werden allmählich in 1500 Ge wichtsteile Schwefelsäure 60 B6 so einge tragen, dass die Temperatur nicht über 50 steigt. Die Paste geht nach längerem Rüh ren in Lösung.
Zur vollständigen Abspaltung der Sulfonsäuregruppe wird noch 1 Stunde auf 55 bis 56 erwärmt. Die schwefelsaure Lösung wird nach dem Erkalten in 1500 Ge wichtsteile Eis ausgetragen, wobei sich die 1- [3'- (W'- Aminobenzoylamino) -phenyl] - 5 - pyrazolon-3-carbonsäure als voluminöser Nie derschlag in einer Ausbeute von etwa 93 abscheidet. Er stellt in trockenem Zustand ein hellgraues Pulver dar.
Process for the preparation of a 1-aylamino-aryl-5-pyrazolone. The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a 1-acylaminoaryl-5-pyrazolone. The process is characterized in that the 4-position sulfonic acid group is split off from 1- [3 '(3 "-aminobenzoylamino) -phenyl] -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid-4-sulfonic acid in a sulfuric acid medium at elevated temperature.
The new compound is a light gray powder. It is a valuable intermediate for the manufacture of dyes. <I> Example: </I> 500 parts by weight of an approximately 38% paste of 1- [3'- (3 "-Aminobenzoylamino) -phenyl] -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid-4-sulfonic acid, manufactured according to patent claim number 229424, are gradually added to 1500 parts by weight of sulfuric acid 60 B6 in such a way that the temperature does not rise above 50. The paste dissolves after prolonged stirring.
To completely split off the sulfonic acid group, the mixture is heated to 55 to 56 for a further hour. After cooling, the sulfuric acid solution is discharged into 1500 parts by weight of ice, the 1- [3'- (W'-aminobenzoylamino) -phenyl] -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid as a voluminous precipitate in a yield of about 93 separates. When dry it is a light gray powder.
