Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines     quaternären        Aminobenzylacylamins.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung  der Verbindung der Formel

    gekennzeichnet durch Umsetzung von Stearin  säureamid mit     p-Diäthylaminobenzylsulfanil-          säure    zum     p-Diäthylaminostearoylbenzyl-          amin    und     Umwandlung    dieses     Acylamines     mit     Diäthylsulfat    in die entsprechende     qua.-          ternäre        

  Verbindung.     



  Die neue     Verbindung    wird als weiche  Masse erhalten, die sich leicht in Wasser löst  und wertvolle     kapillaraktive    Eigenschaften  besitzt. Sie eignet sich     insbesondere    als  Weichmacher für Baumwolle und     umgefällte          Cellulose.     



       Beispiel:     1     Mol.        Stearinsäureamid    und 1,1     Mol.          p-Diäthylaminobenzylsulfanilsäure    werden in         ammoniakalischer    Lösung 6     Stunden    im       Rührautoklaven    auf<B>150'</B> C erhitzt. Nach  dem Erkalten     wird    die     Reaktionsmasse    ab  gesaugt und mit Wasser nachgewaschen.

    Darauf wird das Produkt zur     Reinigung    in       heissem        Amylalkohol        aufgenommen,    das  Wasser abgetrennt und die     amylalkoholische     Lösung vom Ungelösten     abfiltriert.    Nach  dem     Abdestillieren    des     Lösungsmittels    erhält  man das     substituierte        Fettsäureamid    als hell  braune wachsartige Masse.  



  Durch zweistündiges     Erwärmen    mit der  gleichen Gewichtsmenge an     Diäthylsulfat    er  hält man die     quaternäre        Amm.oniumverbin-          dung    als weiche Masse,     die    sich leicht     in     Wasser löst und wertvolle     kapillaraktive    Ei  genschaften besitzt. Sie eignet sich insbeson  dere als Weichmacher für Baumwolle und  umgefällte     Cellulose.

       Example: 1 mol. Of stearic acid amide and 1.1 mol. Of p-diethylaminobenzylsulfanilic acid are heated to 150 ° C. in an ammoniacal solution for 6 hours in a stirred autoclave. After cooling, the reaction mass is sucked off and washed with water.

    The product is then taken up in hot amyl alcohol for cleaning, the water is separated off and the undissolved amyl alcoholic solution is filtered off. After the solvent has been distilled off, the substituted fatty acid amide is obtained as a light brown, waxy mass.



  By heating for two hours with the same amount of diethyl sulfate by weight, the quaternary ammonium compound is kept as a soft mass that dissolves easily in water and has valuable capillary-active properties. It is particularly suitable as a softener for cotton and reprecipitated cellulose.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines quater- nären Aminobenzylacylamines der Formel EMI0002.0001 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Stea.rin säureamid mit p-Diäthylaminobenzylsulfanil- säure umsetzt und das erhaltene p-Diäthyl- aminostearoyl-benzylamin mit Diäthylsulfat in die quaternäre Verbindung überführt. Die neue Verbindung wird als weiche Masse erhalten, die sich leicht in Wasser löst. und wertvolle kapillaraktive Eigenschaften besitzt.
