  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     o-Ogyazofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass durch Kuppeln  von     diazotiertem        4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzol     mit der     N-Methyl-m-sulfonsäure    der     2-Amino-          6-oxynaphthalin-8-sulfonsäure    ein     Farbstoff     erhalten wird, der durch     Nachchromieren    der  in saurem Bade entstehenden Färbungen  gleichmässige, olive Färbungen von ausge  zeichneten Echtheitseigenschaften liefert.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    15,5 kg     4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzol    wer  den     diazotiert    und mit 33,6 kg der     N-Metbyl-          w-sulfonsäure    der     2-Amino-6-oxynaphthalin-          8-sulfonsäure,    hergestellt durch Einwirkung  von 1     Mol.        .Formaldehyd        +        Bisulfit    auf 1     Mol.          Natronsalz    der     2-Amino-6-oxynaphthalin-8-          sulfonsäure,

      in     sodaalkalischer    Lösung und  in Gegenwart von     Pyridin    gekuppelt. Nach  beendeter Kupplung wird der     Farbstoff    aus  gesalzen und     abfiltriert.    Er ist ein dunkles  Pulver und löst sich in Wasser grün und in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure rot. Er färbt    Wolle aus saurem Bade stumpf grün. Die       nachchromierte    Färbung ist olive. Die     Echt-          beitseigenschaften    sind sehr gut.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of an o-oxy azo dye which, by re-chroming the dyeings in an acidic bath, provides uniform, olive dyeings with excellent fastness properties, characterized in that 4-nitro-2-diazo-l-oxybenzene is used with the N-methy-co-sulfonic acid of 2-amino-6-oxynaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid couples.
