  Verfahren zur Darstellung     eines        Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass, man zu einem  wertvollen     Monoazofarbstoff    gelangt, wenn  man     diazotierte        4-Methyl-l-aminobenzol-2,-          sulfosäure    mit     1-Naphthol-3,6-disulfodianilid     kuppelt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>18,7</B> Gewichtsteile     4-Methyl-l-aminoben-          zol-2-sulfosäure    werden in der üblichen  Weise     diazotiert.    Die     Diazoverbindung    lässt  man einlaufen in eine     sodaalkalische    Lösung  von 45,4 Gewichtsteilen     1-Naphthol-3,6-di-          sulfo-dianilid.    Ist die Kupplung beendet,  arbeitet man den Farbstoff in der üblichen  Weise auf. Er färbt auf Wolle ein gelbliches    Rot von guter Walk- und Lichtechtheit, so  wie gutem     Egalisierungsvermögen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Azo- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotierte 4-Methyl-l-aminobenzol-2- sulfosäure mit 1-Naphthol@3,6-disulfodianilid kuppelt. Der neue Farbstoff färbt auf Wolle ein gelbliches Rot von guter Wasch- und Licht echtheit, sowie gutem Egalisierungsvermögen. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of an azo dye, characterized in that diazotized 4-methyl-1-aminobenzene-2-sulfonic acid is coupled with 1-naphthol @ 3,6-disulfodianilide.
