Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 190423. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen AzofarbstofFes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Azofarbatoff erhält, wenn man die Diazover- bindung des 1-Amir)obenzol-2.4-dipropyl- disulfons in saurer Lösung mit 1-Amino-5- oxynaphthalin-2-sulfonsäure vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit blauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus saurem Bade in echten blauen Tönen färbt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>305</B> Teile 1-Aminobecizol-2.4-dipropyl- disulfon werden in verdünnter Essigsäure mit 250 Teilen Salzsäure vom spezifischen Ge wicht 1,15 verrührt und langsam mit einer konzentrierten Lösung von 69 Teilen Natrium nitrit versetzt. In diese durch Zusatz von Eis gekühlte Diazolösung lässt man eine neutra lisierte Lösung von 239 Teilen 1-Amino-5- oxynaphthalin-2-sulfonsäure zutropfen. Die Farbstoffbildung kann durch Zusatz neutra- lisierender Mittel, wie z.
B. Natriumacetat oder Natriumformiat, beschleunigt werden. Man kann die Umsetzung auch bei mässig erhöhter Temperatur durchführen. Der ent standene Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, durch Lösen in heissem Wasser und Zugabe eines Alkalis, Aussalzen und Filtrieren und Trocknen isoliert.

It has been found that a new azo carbate is obtained if the diazo compound of 1-amir) above-2,4-dipropyl-disulfone is combined in acidic solution with 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid. The new dye forms a dark powder that dissolves in water with a blue color and dyes wool from an acid bath in true blue tones.
<I> Example: </I> <B> 305 </B> parts of 1-aminobecizole-2,4-dipropyl-disulfone are stirred in dilute acetic acid with 250 parts of hydrochloric acid with a specific weight of 1.15 and slowly mixed with a concentrated solution of 69 parts of sodium nitrite were added. A neutralized solution of 239 parts of 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid is added dropwise to this diazo solution, cooled by the addition of ice. The dye formation can be achieved by adding neutralizing agents, such as
B. sodium acetate or sodium formate, are accelerated. The reaction can also be carried out at a moderately elevated temperature. The resulting dye is filtered off, isolated by dissolving in hot water and adding an alkali, salting out and filtering and drying.
