Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen zur Herstellung von plastisehen Massen geeigneten Kondensationsproduktes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Kon densationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Pentachlorrizinusölsäure, die man aus Rizinusölsäure durch Einwirkung von Chlor bis zum Eintritt von 5 Chlor atomen erhält, mit der Lösung eines schwachen Alkali behandelt.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt eine bräunliche, elastische, kautschukähnliche Substanz dar, die unlöslich in Wasser, ver dünnten Säuren und Alkalien, schwer löslich in organischen Lösungsmitteln ist. Es soll zur Herstellung von plastischen Massen ver wendet werden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 48 kg einer Pentachloi-rizinusölsäure, die man aus Rizinusölsäure durch Einwirkung von Chlor bis zum Eintritt von 5 Chlor atomen erhält, werden mit 65 kg konzen- triertem wässerigem Ammoniak vom spei. Gew. 0,909 und 50 kg Wasser etwa 5 Stun den im Autoklaven unter Druck auf 140-150 o erhitzt.
Nach dem Erkalten wird das erhal tene Reaktionsprodukt von der wässerigen Lösung getrennt, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet. Durch Auskochen mit Wasser oder Chloroform kann das Produkt weiter gereinigt werden.
Kocht man das neue Produkt längere Zeit mit verdünnter Lauge, so erfolgt schein bar unter Verseifung von Estergruppen Lö sung, und aus der Lösung kann durch Aus fällen mit verdünnten Säuren ein weiteres neues Produkt erhalten werden, das ebenfalls plastische Eigenschaften besitzt.

It should be used ver for the production of plastic masses. <I> Example: </I> 48 kg of a pentachloro-ricinoleic acid, which is obtained from ricinoleic acid by the action of chlorine until 5 chlorine atoms enter, are stored with 65 kg of concentrated aqueous ammonia. After cooling, the reaction product obtained is separated from the aqueous solution, washed with water and dried. The product can be further purified by boiling with water or chloroform.
