Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 141535.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  metallhaltigen     Farbstoff'    erhält, wenn man  den     Farbstoff    aus     diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     Resorcin    mit der Sus  pension einer Verbindung des zweiwertigen  Kobalts behandelt.  



  Der gebildete Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel  braunes Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit  roter, in Natronlauge mit tiefroter und in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit braungelber  Farbe löst. Aus der blaustichig rot gefärbten  Lösung in     Zaponlack    erhält man auf Metall  folien rote Überzüge.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  2,63 Teile des     Farbstoffes    aus     diazotiertem          4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und     Resorcin    werden  in 250 Teilen Wasser aufgekocht und mit  einer<B>0,65</B> Teilen Kobalt entsprechenden  Menge einer frisch gefällten und neutral ge  waschenen     Kobaltsulfidsuspension    einige Zeit  am     Rückflusskühler    zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach    dem Erkalten wird die gebildete     Kobaltver-          bindung    durch Zusatz von etwas Kochsalz  abgeschieden, ausgewaschen und bei mässiger  Temperatur getrocknet.

Der gebildete Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel braunes Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit roter; in Natronlauge mit tiefroter und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit braungelber Farbe löst. Aus der blaustichig rot gefärbten Lösung in Zaponlack erhält man auf Metall folien rote Überzüge.
