  Zusatzpatent zum     Hauptpatent        Nr.    141535.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen     Färbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen  metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man  den Farbstoff aus     diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     1-Pheiiyl-3-methyl-5-pyi,-          azolon    mit der Suspension einer Verbindung  des dreiwertigen Eisens behandelt.  



  Der gebildete Farbstoff stellt ein     olive-          braunes    Pulver dar, das in Wasser sehr  schwer, in Natronlauge etwas mit braun  gelber und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure  mit braunroter Farbe löslich ist. Aus der       grünstichig    gelben Lösung in     Zapon-    und  andern Lacken erhält man auf Metallfolien  gut lichtechte,     grünstichig    gelbe Anstriche.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>6,57</B> Teile des Farbstoffes aus     diazotier-          tem        4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und     1-Phenyl-          3-methyl-5-pyrazolon    werden in<B>500</B> Teilen  Wasser aufgekocht und mit einer     Aufschlärn-          mung    von frisch gefälltem     Ferrihyclroxyd,     entsprechend 1,2 Teilen Eisen, einige Zeit    am     Rückflusskühler    zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach  dem Erkalten wird der ausgeschiedene     Farb-          stoff        abfiltriert,    ausgewaschen und bei mässiger  Temperatur getrocknet.

The greenish yellow solution in Zapon and other lacquers gives good lightfast, greenish yellow paints on metal foils.

    <I> Example: </I> <B> 6.57 </B> parts of the dye are made from diazotized 4-chloro-2-amino-1-phenol and 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone Boiled in <B> 500 </B> parts of water and heated to boiling for some time on a reflux condenser with a suspension of freshly precipitated ferric hydroxide, corresponding to 1.2 parts of iron. After cooling, the precipitated dye is filtered off, washed out and dried at a moderate temperature.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines inetall- haltigen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Farbstoff aus diazotiertem 4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol und 1-Phenyl-3- methyl-5-pyrazolon mit der Suspension einer Verbindung des dreiwertigen Eisens behandelt. Der gebildete Farbstoff stellt ein ollve- braunes Pulver dar, das in Wasser sehr schwer, in Natronlauge etwas mit braun gelber und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit braunroter Farbe löslich ist.
