Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Chlor und     Broms    enthaltenden     Keipenfarbstoffes.       Im     I3auptpatent    ist ein 'Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines Chlor und Brom ent  haltenden     Küpenfarbstoffes    beschrieben, bei  dem 1     Mol        Isodibenzanthron    in Gegenwart  von     Chlorsulfonsäure    und von Katalysatoren  mit mindestens einem halben     Mol    eines     bro-          mierenden    Mittels behandelt wird.  



  Es     wurde    nun gefunden, dass man  einen Farbstoff von ähnlichen Eigenschaften  erhalten kann, wenn man 1     Mol        Isodi-          benzanthron    in Gegenwart von     Chlorsulfon-          säure    und Schwefel mit     mindestens    2     Mol     eines     bromierenden    Mittels behandelt.  



  Der erhaltene     Küpenfarbstoff,    ein Tetra  bromdichlorisodibenz_anthron, ist ein violettes  Pulver, löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure mit gelbgrüner Farbe und liefert auf  Baumwolle aus blauer     Küpe    klare, kräftige,       violette    Färbungen von hervorragenden Echt  heitseigenschaften.  



       Beispiel:     46 Teile     Isodibenzanthron    'werden     unter     Rühren in 460 Teilen     Chlorsulfonsäure    gelöst    und nach Zugabe von 4 Teilen Schwefel und  60 Teilen Brom langsam auf 65 bis 70   C  erwärmt. Ist die Hauptmenge des ange  wandten Broms aufgenommen, so lässt man  erhalten und arbeitet in der üblichen     Weise     auf.

       Example: 46 parts of isodibenzanthrone are dissolved in 460 parts of chlorosulfonic acid with stirring and, after 4 parts of sulfur and 60 parts of bromine have been added, the mixture is slowly heated to 65 to 70 ° C. Once the majority of the bromine used has been taken up, it is left to be preserved and worked up in the usual way.
